The service was great. The store was clean and neat. I was served within 10 minutes of my arrival. I felt no pressure to purchase anything nor to have the work done there. The conversation about the work to be done was relaxing and informative. Looking forward to being a regular customer. I will gladly recommend this store and chain to family and friends.

Absolutely AMAZING service and really quick. I was in and out in 25 minutes, I was told it would be an hour (which isn’t bad either) but 25 minutes was amazing!All the men working the front counter were great and definitely put the customer first. 25/10 recommend and will always come back.

I purchased a set of tires today from this Gateway Tire store. I have purchased all my tires from Gateway, since 2005 and I’ve never been disappointed. Knowledgeable and friendly staff and clean spacious areas, for customers to wait.

I went here because my car 2015 Dodge Charger was humming and I knew it was the hub bearings/axle. They fixed something totally not related and my car was still making the same noise. I left in went to another shop and all I explained was the noise. They confirmed it was the axle and now I’ve double paid to get a problem fixed in which they originally were to fixed and no one was any help as to explaining to me why the problem I brought it in for was not fixed. I will never have work done here again. They are not ase certifed, don’t take warranty protection and several shops won’t even touch my car just bc gateway worked on it first. Save your time and money

This was a truly excellent experience I was headed by to St. Louis and needed a tire they got me in and out without a fuss nice new back tires not very expensive.

This place took me for a flat tire when the Gateway near me declined me even though I told them I might not make it to another Gateway. These people told me to come over right away on the phone, and when I got there, the man I spoke with recognized me and got help immediately. Not only did they fix my tire, but they didnt charge me due to the circumstances. He seemed confused/upset about the way I was treated at the other Gateway and that showed me these people really care about their customers and their safety. I should not have been turned back to the road with a flat tire and Gateway on Covington Pike knew that all too well and made sure to get me taken care of. This is DEFINITELY the Gateway you should trust in the Memphis area!

This place is amazing!! I drove up needing 2 rear tires and they took care of me within 30 minutes!! They were so friendly and courteous and the place is spotless on the inside and outside. Very inviting. I will be returning! Oh, and they do oil changes too!! I had no idea!! Thanks guys!! I give you 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!!

They told me We dont work on vehicles that have not been repaired by us. Im fairly certain almost every vehicle in their shop has been repaired by someone else at some point. I took my vehicle to Bartlett Tire Service. Bartlett Tire Service works on all vehicles.

Very busy, but good service

I must say Ive been there several times today was kind of awkward because it wasnt on my schedule so I was in a rush as usual Ive met a few of the gas there their hospitality always on point and seems to never change. It just took me to have some patience and I was out of there a couple hours earlier than I thought. Their practicing really good social distance so Im comfortable going there and then I appreciate it but of course I would recommend to go to Gateway Tires and Covington Pike it would be an excellent choice you just got to have patience

Sat for almost 2 hours only for them to tell me that I had to go to the dealership smh pretty sure you could have said that sooner than that. Especially if I came when they FIRST opened! Never again.

Was able to get my tired repaired. It took a little time but overall Im pleased with the customer service and the workmanship! I always go to the Covington pike location. Mr. Munoz and his team always get the job done.

I am a retired Sr. Citizen on a limited income. I have second hand tires on my car. I have to keep a close eye on them & make sure they stay aired up. The guys who work here are very friendly & efficient. I know how to put air in my tires but really appreciate that these guys do it for me. Thanks Guys!!

I enjoy coming to this location because they treat you like family. Nick, Terrance, and Mario are the best! They always explain the issue to me in terms that i can understand and provide me with great customer service. They even helped me with my two year old twin girls. The price was reasonable and they didnt do any work until they informed me of the cost, giving me the choice as a customer (I like that a lot).

I went to this location and bought a set of tires for my husbands truck. I must say that I experienced the best service from Mario and his crew. My wait time was minimal, and they thoroughly inspected my truck. They let me know exactly what I needed to keep my truck in tip top shape. We will definitely be going back.

A short narrative for your consideration. This month: a family member used my old truck to do some work. The tires were worn out through his usage, and one tire was showing wire strands. Had the truck taken to Gateway Tires. Mr. Terrence Watson navigated the process perfectly. Within 2 hours, all 4 tires were replaced, balanced, and front end wasaligned. Wand a very reasonable and affordable price. Highly recommend!!!

Ive always found the staff that I personally encountered at Gateway Tires on Covington Pike fair and professional. Been going there for over 10 years.A very, very minor mishap with a pothole caused a vinyl flap to become loose under my car. They re-attached the loose flap at no charge. You cant beat that for fairness. THANKS GATEWAY TIRES!

Great service! I came here with a nail in my tire that I assumed wouldnt be repairable since it was towards the outside of the tire tread. Even though I didnt buy the tire here, they repaired it, and repaired it for free! I was helped by Nick, who was so accommodating and helpful. I will be returning here for my future tire needs!

Always have had a good experience here when getting a tire patched or replaced. Usually havent had to wait longer than an hour on all visits so far, and you can always drop off a vehicle or loose tire and pickup later if not able to wait.

I took my truck in for a oil change and tire rotation, only to get home and realize my radiator was leaking I never had a radiator leak until they changed my oil. So I called and checked the cost of a radiator from Oreilly it was $189. I ask gateway for a quote on repair they said $1000 and just the radiator it’s $600 High way robbery

First time customer and definitely will be back for any tires in the future. Nick, who works at the front desk, provides superior customer service. I came in looking for tires and he greeted me asked what he could help me with. I wasnt sure exactly what I needed, so he quickly grabbed a pen and paper and ran out to my car to check the size of my tires. He then proceeded to run through the options to find the best quality, price, and needs for vehicle. The shop looked extremely busy and it says something about his commitment to customer service, that he took his time to do all this during a busy time for the shop. Go see Nick!

I have trusted Gateway Tire on Covington Pike for auto servicing for several years. The entire staff is courteous, friendly and professional when answering questions regarding repairs. My experiences with this Gateway have always been fast, reliable and reasonably priced service. More importantly, unlike some other repair shops that I have used, any items left in my car are there when I return and the interior is just as I left it. I love that degree of honesty and care.

Service was great took a while but it was good

Great customer service by Mario and his team. It was a cold raining night and my tire was running flat due to a nail. I went to 4 other places before getting to Gateway right at closing. Every place except Gateway said that they could not due anything due it being in close proximity to closing. When I got to Gateway, it was 5 minutes until closing and their response was Well take care of you (with a smile). Not only did they take care of me, but there was all smiles.I will definitely go back for future needs. This time, I will go to Gateway first!!!!

I had lost power steering. Was told I needed power steering pump, rack and pinion, flush and alignment. Price $1368. Took it to another reputable dealer, who saw nothing wrong with the rack and pinion. Replaced pump with flush $320. I waited a month before posting just to to be fair. Drives just fine

Needed two new rear tires.. showed up after 5pm and was out at 6pm. They even made sure that the front tires were @ correct pressure. The waiting area was clean and spacious.

Took my car in this morning to get a tire plugged. Sales guy tried his best to sell me a set of tires. Told me they couldnt plug a tire with fix a flat in it (yet theyve done it before). Even his coworker disagreed with him. I waited almost 2 hours and watched my car sit in a bay and no one even put it on the rack to look at the tire. Then the sales guy told me again I was gonna have to have new tires and he had a set on sale but the sale was only good today. I told him no...he said well dont worry about the sale date, I can extend that sale. Ive called around town since this morning and found the same tires for $100 less (some sale, huh?). I then ask him to pull my car out so that I could leave and I look back out into the shop and one of the mechanics had my hood open. Im not sure why you would need to look under my hood to fix a rear tire. Im thinking he was gonna mess with something so I would have to come back to get my car fixed. I will NEVER ever go back to them.#GatewayTireCovingtonPikeScammers

Theyre slow. Its probably because Walmart automotive center is temporarily closed. The consumers from Walmart is flocking to them.

Gateway Tire on Covington pike specializes in price gouging. Ive never bought tires here and never will. On mechanical work they always say we cant do this or that because you need something else done. Dont take your vehicle to gateway for mechanical work. If I could give them a minus I would. They are some CROOKS! I brought my car in for a simple power steering pump replacement. They said oh we cant do it because the rack and pinion has a whole in it. I paid $1300 and my car seizes up when I turn left and right. Scam artists. It wasnt doing that initially. Please dont allow them to do mechanical work. They are incompetent!!!!

After 2 years with no problems from my A/C, it suddenly springs a leak. I take it here and they tell me that EVERYTHING has to be replaced. $1800 later and 6 months down the road, its all leaked out!!!! If I were still in Memphis, Id sue these liars. But since Im in Atlanta, I guess they get away with theft! NEVER take your car here. Go to Right Tire on Summit. At least they will be honest with you!!!

I recently had an honest location to look at my truck after leaving gateway Im Covington Pike in Memphis . Simple repair that cost me 100 dollars. Gateway wanted 1900 dollars . Also I was charged over 4000 dollars for work that wasnt needed months prior. The manager is a liar. I think the name is Mario. Get a second opinion when dealing with this place. I really dont like places and people like the ones at Gateway tire on Covington Pike in Memphis . I am a health care provider 16 years in private practice . Its not good to lie and decieve. Terrible place to go. Stay away from these guys! Also the owner should consider a new manager . In response to owners reply, Why would I talk to the manager when he is the ringleader of the shady business. This same manager was the one who initially charged for the brake, shock and new tires for my vehicle that costs 4000 dollars. Went to Nissan. Found out I didnt need them. Mario, the manager is terrible. Be careful.

Had a tire losing air and they would not let me pay to have it fixed because tread was worn slightly uneven and it was against their policy. Went to walmart and had no problems. That was over 10k miles ago. They just want to sell new tires in my opinion.

I typically get realy good service (especially at the Aroka location but the other day I was there for close about 3 hours. That was not the issue though. I had quite a bit of work that had to be done to my car. They released my csr back to me and I got about 20 minutes down the road when they called me back. I had to drive BACK to the store because they forgot to put my new windshield wipers on my car. When I asked for a refund thw guy wasnt happy but in the end gave me a full redund on my wipers but only after I pushed for the refund. Had he at least offered to refund some of the cost I may not have pushed for the full refund.

Was not a pleasant experience. Had to get a tire, I feel I was over charged for the tire, and was told it would be done in a hour, two and a half hours later it was finished. If youre in a bind like I was itll work, but if you have other options Id go that route.....this review is for the Southaven location

Always super slow and usually seem uninterested.To clarify based on the response i was a customer of Keras Car Central and came in monthly for oil changes. I got my headlights replaced on my own the one time but i used to dread coming in because i knew my oil change would take almost 2 hours even if i was early.

Dont trust these people, they may pick you next time. My vehicle has never broken down. Broke down 3 times after visiting them. Went to Covington Pike location, 6 days later was walking, w had to purchase a battery and alternator. I cant prove what they did but its not a coincidence they tried to convince I needed a battery and less than a week later after trying them out for a routine maintenance oil change my vehicle has its first breakdown. Prior to the visit no issues. They were rude, disrespectful liars when I asked them what did they do to my car. It toik them two hours to do my oil change. I was the third customer of the morning. A bunch of ungodly souls inhabit that place.

Hates dis place went to Gateway for my tell-light wait for 2 hour 45min. They tell me l need a part for my light, said there going to order the parts. But I have to come back 2 morrow, and they call me. never called me. I had to call them 3 time. Bad 2 take your car.

They told me that they could not change my flat because I needed all four tires changed. Thats understandable because I know that I need new tires. I just did not have over $400+ at that present moment. So, I had to ride on a flat to Walmart. Smh.

If I could give them lower than 1 star I would. Dont ever take your car here. Very bad customer service. If ever you have a problem with your car, a problem that they caused, they will not own up to it and call you a liar. From a customer stand point being call a liar from a place of business is very horrible. I had my tires rotated and balanced here. Two days later I noticed two lug bolts on the front driver tire were loose and one was about to fall out. Supposedly they have 2 people check to make sure this doesnt happen. I watched the video. 1st guy used a impact wrench. 2nd guy came back behind him to check with a torque bar. As he made his way to the front driver side you can clearly see the guy using the bar and moving his hand up and down up and down. Now if you use a impact, why is the guy having to torque my bolts quite a bit with the bar? Sounds like they need to retrain. And dont ever call a customer a liar.
