Outdoors, Inc. is hands down the best spot in Memphis for all things bike-related, not to mention running, skiing, hiking and kayaking. The Poplar Avenue bike store was extremely helpful and responsive. We ordered a Thule Coaster Bike Trailer for our son, and they took care of all the details, including assembly and the specific adaptors needed for different bikes. If they dont have it in the store, theyll order what you need and assemble everything for you. I love supporting local businesses, and Outdoors Inc. is the quintessential local shop, having been in Memphis for longer than Ive been alive!

Great spot for the latest gear and if youre lucky you can find some good deals too. Staffs friendly and while it is a more expensive gear shop, you get some quality stuff.

All this packed into one store....you wont be disappointed. I stop by from time to time just to look at new gear, knives, and camping/outdoor supplies. Very knowledgeable kayak person who can get you outfitted.

I bought my sons Specialized bike here. We had it special ordered and the staff was very helpful with the entire process. They also service the bike. I feel confident that my investment is being taken care of. I highly recommend.

Really arent that nice here. Seemed mad to have to deal with a customer. That might explain why they never look busy. Ill find another place to take my bike.

I dont know how they are in business. Overpriced. And no customers. I see they are rude to the only person 8n store besides the two employees watching videos on phone. Owner must use this place a a tax write off.

Screw this place. I bought nalgene water bottles for my co-workers to try and help stop people from using plastic bottles and try to save the planet by doing my part. $200 for 10 water bottles! Might not be a lot of money for the bastard who owns these stores, but for me thats insane. This from a company that supposedly prides itself on making the earth better through recycled and reusable materials that are better for mother earth. I use to work here and I know how much the mark is on these items and other items (youre getting ripped off trust me). You should be ashamed of yourself Lawrence (the owner). Not to mention you didnt even have any without your crappy logo on them. Get some plain ones and stop ripping people off. I try to support local businesses as much as possible but I will never buy anything from this store again.

Went here for biker shorts, seat change, derailleur adjustment, awesome shop Paul showed me how the gears I forgot, but if I have any more issues with my bike Ill definitely go back here.
