The AT&T Poplar Towers store n my “go to” store. The atmosphere is always upbeat. I hadn’t gotten a new phone in several years; Tashuna was very personable, patient and professional. Did not rush me; but, took her time. Kendrick was also very helpful. I refer all my family and friends to Tashuna.

The man who helped didn’t help me at all. He was a fast paced arm twister who kept pushing me to sign up for the TV part. He continually pushed a filled out form in front of me to sign. I asked for a detailed summary of what he was selling and price break down. He said he’d email it but he didn’t. I came in for help to set up my new phone and he said he couldn’t do it unless I purchased something. He was very pushy. I felt taken advantage of. I believe that he saw an elderly lady and thought he could get away with anything and he did. He told me if I purchased something from him he’d set up my phone. He said I could return it if I didn’t like the information he would email to me. He didn’t email me anything. Now I want to modem returned but he didn’t say I’d have to return it to that particular store. I have to pay someone to drive me that far. I am faced with that dilemma of trying to hire someone to bring me into Memphis when I’m 70miles away. I feel like this is age discrimination.

This store is great- everyone was very polite and efficient. Their Covid precautions are good and they were sure to prevent any overcrowding in the store. The associate that helped me, Kameron, was SO patient with me. He helped me buy a new phone, helped me set it up, and answered all my questions. That guy deserves a raise!

I was in there last week and the service that Nakesha provided was above and beyond what I expected, performed with a professional and friendly attitude and she was impressively knowledgeable about AT&T products and services. When I needed to return this week for a follow up issue Carter went above and beyond for me too. When I arrived and he was with another customer Scott stepped up and took care of me expediently and with a pleasant attitude. The Manager, Karen, was great when I spoke with her to tell her my opinion of her employees and that they are the reason that I will be returning for any future needs even though I live half hour away and have numerous other AT&T stores near me. She was genuinely supportive of her staff and happy to hear of my opinion of them. The three other stores I dealt with before my first and second visits to this store were underwhelming, to say the least. In these times of Covid the positive energy and attitudes expressed by the staff at the store at 6267 Poplar Ave are priceless assets to their business, in my opinion. I highly recommend this business to my family and friends.

I was amazed how quickly I was waited on by the staff at this location. They were very friendly and helpful and seem to be very knowledgeable about the phones that I was looking at purchasing. The store is conveniently located on Germantown Parkway. They also carry a large selection so you can see all of the different phones that they have. Ive had to go there in the past because of an issue I was having with my phone and they were very helpful and friendly with that.

I had the worst customer service experience at this location ever. The sales rep I got so unlucky to have was extremely rude, sarcastic, and unprofessional. They badgered me nonstop about buying a new plan I did not want or need. Even after I asked them to stop, they would not. They were not friendly about it at all, only excessively pushy. The sales rep continued to be extremely rude and talked to me like I was an idiot. She made several snide comments about me personally. I literally asked her to stop twice, but she wouldn’t stop. I finally told her to forget the order, I will drive to another AT&T store in rush hour traffic, wait for another hour or so for another sales rep, and take my business there - just to get away from her rude comments and unprofessional manner. And she just laughed and said okay. So that is what I did.

My daughter chose to spend her birthday cash on a new iPhone 11. I brought her to this location. The plan was to trade in her current iPhone and pay cash for the iPhone 11. A seemingly unenthused young lady greeted us at the door. We explained we wanted to purchase an iPhone 11. We went through the standard procedures. She wasn’t that enthusiastic and eager for a sale, but she wasn’t rude either. We paid for the new phone; set it up with ease. When it was time to reset the trade-in the phone - for whatever reason, it prompted for two different passcodes to be entered. The young lady asked for the 2nd code and we gave her the only 3 codes we knew for the phone. She showed us it didn’t go through, so my daughter said to try my mom’s passcode. The young lady entered the code, and it didnt work, and it locked her out. Here is where it went left. The young lady said to us that we had done something to phone and that they couldnt take the trade-in. She then called to a coworker and said wed done something to the iPhone, and it is not allowing her to reset it, and she would have to void the trade-in. She phoned the manager with the same message we had done something to the phone.At this point, she has me feeling like we are bogus and trying to get over. She called a coworker over who had better customer service training. He stated there had to be a solution. I replied that I just wanted a refund because I didnt like being accused of doing something I had no clue about. He obliged.So to void the sale, my daughter had to give back the new phone. They had to reset the new phone as well and guess what? Yeap, it asked for a second passcode. She said again to see they done something on the phone. I asked to see the phone entered my passcode. The same code we had given her previously all of a sudden worked, and she was able to reset it.So all that time, the young lady was entering the wrong code. However, she accused us of ”doing something” to the phone. My overzealous daughter asked the young lady since it worked could she get the phone back. The girl said, yes, but I told her no because the young lady never apologized for accusing us of something we did not do. Since she didnt care to rectify the sale, I didnt care if she got the sale. Tomorrow we will take that sale to another ATT.

We went there to transfer a number to a prepaid account & was there for 1 1/2 hour because he transferred the wrong number over. He eventually fixed it & I still didnt get the number transferred over! What a waste of my time!

Came in to purchase a phone and add it to an existing line. Already knew which phone we wanted. Our rep was nice but slow and didnt know how to use the computer to complete the process. We had to use the computer because the internet speed on his iPad was too slow to process. Took over an hour for what should have taken minutes. Granted, there were network issues as well.

My recent experience at Att was not a pleasant one. I was just supposed to pick up my order, previously placed online, AND PAID FOR!! Instead i was made to sit through 6 hours of questions, red tape, and an angry employee who had obviously grown tired of dealing with my issues after my first hour of being there. To top it all off... the employee decides after those 6 hours to tell me i just needed to go home, cancel my order, and start over. So after all of that hell, i still left with no phones. My anxiety level was through the roof by that time, and i didnt have it in me to argue about it. I went home feeling completely defeated, and as if my entire day had been wasted. Thanks alot Att. I love nothing more than spending one of my well deserved days off wasting my precious time for absolutely nothing, and with people whos attitudes are less than desirable (sarcasm)
