Stopped in while on a road trip through town. The place has really cool ambience! We both got iced honey lattes which were delicious! I got a sausage and egg breakfast sandwich which was also great! We were very pleased with our experience!

Pourovers are great. Good selection of different beans and espresso. Not too impressed with specialty drinks; theyre VERY sugary. Takes away from the taste of the coffee.Food and staff are great.

Amazing coffee, atmosphere, service, and food! From the moment I walked in I knew I would love the place. The barista greeted me immediately and was very friendly. The space is spacious yet cozy, situated next door to a pottery studio. If you want drip coffee you just pick your mug (amongst a fun variety) and they fill it for you. I got two lattes, a sausage biscuit and a chicken biscuit. The chicken biscuit was by far my favorite, light, crispy and super flavorful. The coffee is delicious and from what I saw they support Black owned roasters which is awesome. I will for sure be back every time I’m in Memphis!

Awesome food and coffee. My boss always gets food for everybody at the office from here. My favorite sandwiches are the BLT and the grilled chicken. They are awesome, the bacon they serve is delicious, unlike anything Ive had before, thick and sweet and salty. So good! They also have salads and a few breakfast items, They also have scones and a good variety of cookies. People there are super friendly.

I love Belltower and I think their coffee is fantastic. What I am not a fan of however, is the poor customer service.I visited them mid afternoon to grab an iced latte. As I walked in, another woman walked in after me and we both stood in line. Three employees were behind the counter having a good time and laughing at each others jokes which I thought was great. However, never once was I or the woman behind me greeted or acknowledged.I stood in line patiently watching an employee walk to and from the register, look at us, and not say a word. After 5 minutes I asked if anyone was working the register and the woman making drinks rudely said whenever youre ready.The woman behind me and I looked at each other in disbelief and smiled at each other out of frustration and annoyance. Ive worked in coffee before and this is guaranteed way to lose repeat costumers. Belltower, you need to do better.

Belltower Artisans is a new coffee shop located on the Highland strip. This coffee shop has a twofold purpose. First they love coffee and secondly pottery. This is a coffee house that also provides pottery classes. While working or studying you can look to the back to see folks crafting a new pottery creation. I tried a plain small latte and it was pretty good. if your looking for a spot to work, study, or good coffee close to campus then head over to Belltower Artisans. If your looking for parking their are ample spaces behind the shop.

This was a great coffee shop. The girl that helped us was really kind. This is also a place where you can take pottery classes. They sell pottery and yummy treats as well as brownies.Got a caramel latte with an extra shot and an espresso brownie.

Ideal atmosphere to work on a project or hang out with friends. Great coffee with friendly staff and very close to University of Memphis. They offer pottery classes, so we can watch someone making pottery behind the order counter. My frequent place to have coffee while working on projects!!!

To my dismay, they dont sell bells or towers, but I keep coming back, so they must be doing something right. Its a beautiful place with beautifully unique baristas who have their own style and approach to coffee. The drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is comfortable, relaxed, artistic, and modern. I havent done the pottery thing, but I have no doubt that the classes are really fun. I love this place.

I had no idea this place existed. I walked in and could tell why it’s slammed! The girl at the counter with the short hair was so friendly, telling me about the menu, I was raving about the amazing atmosphere and service before I even tried the coffee. Then I tried my coffee. WOW. I didn’t know a simple iced mocha could be so good. Signed up for rewards on my first visit! Please don’t go anywhere, this place is perfect for u of m students!

It was my first time with all of my friends the seven of us,one male(me)and six other women,the driver didnt make anything, we drove all the way from Senatobia Mississippi,we had a great time making pottery,none of us had ever done pottery before and our instructor Micha(or how ever you spell his name)was awsome,he helped us all out,each of us made three things out of clay each one costing fifteen dollars,so it cost us forty five dollars to do all three for each person,so if you add it up 15x3 = 45$,I recomend anyone who likes to use there hands,to try this place out,once your done, you will get your finished pottery in about three weeks,the coffee shop is awesome too and they serve lunch and snacks as well,so if you in the area of Memphis State,aka The University of Memphis,come and try this place out,your going to want to come back,I guarentee and one last thing,the staff are really nice too.

Probably the best vibe for a coffee shop in East Memphis right now. They have a lovely painted brick wall and large open windows on the front. The tables are all wooden and it really is the best place to study without ever being disturbed. Coffee is on par. I enjoy Vice and Virtues coffee options the most. My espresso shot was over-extracted but the pour overs are really good. I dislike that they dont have more cold brew options than J Brooks (not a fan). I usually get flash brews because of that. Solid place though.

Great place for a cup of coffee or an espresso drink. I enjoy the atmosphere.They also offer pottery classes and have several pottery wheels for studio time. As a big advocate for small businesses and independent artists, I love that Belltower Artisans strives hard to introduce goers to Memphis pottery and caffeine culture. Everywhere you go to in this shop, there’s a cute little surprise awaiting your end! :)While I honestly don’t find of their regular caffeinated drinks to be the highlight of my time here(the coffee I ordered tasted very acidic and the matcha tea wasn’t whisked very frothy like in regular Japanese tea ceremony), I really appreciate being in a cafe that offers its customers positive vibes, free wifi, and a chance to help them understand why it’s important to treat your fellow artists fairly.Say, would it be possible to host Japanese tea ceremony nights here? Ever since the Way of Tea in Tennessee disbanded, I haven’t had a chance to practice tea ceremony much around here. :(Plus, it would be great if we can introduce more Memphians to tea culture beyond serving regular bubble tea and bagged tea drinks, especially since I love seeing pottery in action, so to speak. :)

Ever since Avenue coffee closed, this is where you will find a lot of your 20-something u of m hipster coffee drinkers. That being said, their addition of a food menu, an outdoor patio, and an entire area dedicated to just pottery shows how great they have become. Once covid-19 ends, I expect this place to boom more. If you are in the area, go grab a cup!

This place was fire!!! However they moved to a bigger location and changed their staff. The baristas have changed and the coffee art has degraded. Now they offer food which i have not tasted

I love this place! Belltower has a great variety of drink options & is always a great place to study. Their coffee is great, and they have a pretty good pastry selection to pick from as well. I like that there are always plenty of wall outlets available if you ever need to charge up. In my experience the baristas have been attentive and theyve always given good suggestions.Its definitely worth a visit if you are wanting to get some work done, meet up with a group, or just hang out and relax.

I had a great experience at Belltower the other day. I took a class with a few of my friends and our moms and it was so awesome! Most of us were newbies and the teacher was so helpful with teaching us how to use the pottery wheel, and for the 2 people in my group who had done the class before, the teacher allowed them to use the clay to make whatever they wanted, which we all appreciated the flexibility. The coffee is great too, with lots of great options, and I would definitely enjoying coming back to study or do another class here!

If you are in the market for a good quality beverage or just want to treat yo self, I would strongly recommend coming to Belltower. I visited from out of town. I was trying to find a good coffee spot in Memphis, and this one is great! The space if bright and spacious. The coffee is very good, and the specialty drink I tried was outstanding (iced coffee with coconut, it was very refreshing without being overly sweet). I was also excited to see that they had oat milk.

Love this place. The coffee select ion is great (hot brews, cold brews, etc) and the quality is perfect. The setting is also unique in that it is a local coffee shop, but also some local clay sculptors and classes you can take. There are small tables, longer tables, couches, etc so it fits whatever you are looking for. Definitely my favorite coffee place Ive found in Memphis.

Belltower Artisans is nothing short of wonderful! From the staff to the coffee to the atmosphere, it is the perfect place for a coffee date or an afternoon of studying. I love the relatively late hours and how the staff remember you when you come back. Its also great because youre allowed to bring in outside food, which is nice if you just want a cup of coffee while studying. Highly recommend!! Love this place and so glad it opened!

Such a great and confortable place to spend time with friends or study/read/write by yourself. Really close to campus as well. Love the seasonal drinks they offer and would love a return of the Harry Potter inspired ones!

I love good coffee. And almost every city I visit, New York, la, Orlando, Boston, Las Vegas, I will make time to visit its signature coffee shop. Belltower artisans is definitely one of the best coffee shop I’d been to. It’s a coffee + pottery shop. The staffs are super friendly, they make expresso just the right amount of time, so you can taste all three flavors, bitter, sour and sweetness all together, just the way coffee should taste! My go to drinks are cappuccino + oat milk and oak milk ice latte. My friend loves its mocha cappuccino. Can’t go wrong with any drink there though.

So cute and homey! They offer pottery classes and local coffee and teas. I bought 2 hand made unique mugs that are awesome. Micah and Caleb were so nice and informative and happy! Wish this was here when I was in college..its on the highland strip near U of Memphis. Will be back for sure!

Such an incredible environment, especially for group events! We hosted our Entrepreneur Mastermind for Memphis Entrepreneur Club with over 30 people. The hospitality, comfort and service we received was phenomenal. I am really impressed with the accomplishments these two young entrepreneurs have made. I was very pleased with the satisfaction of all of our members. Belltower stayed open later than usual just to make sure we were all well taken care of!

This place is really amazing. The store is really well designed and the coffees are very really good. They offer a great variety of drinks and the staff is very honest and friendly. The owner was very accommodating as he explained the menu options. This shop has a very artsy vibe and they offer great pottery classes as well.

Great cafe! They are so friendly and it has such a great atmosphere. The only downside is that they don’t serve food besides cakes and oatmeal, but I still really like this place.

Great vibes, great coffee, and even better people. This coffee place surpasses the local coffee scene with their fine brewed coffee made with extra love and affection. Another favorite item of mine is the lavender latte, a perfect balance between cream, coffee, and a sweet delicious taste of lavender. Its perfect!

Love the lattes and the atmosphere. They have a lot of good books and board games to pass the time with people so it is a fun place to just hang out with people and pass some time. It looks really nice and has a good location on the strip.

Love Belltower!!!! My son is a talented potter, still in high school, and I feel comfortable letting him spend ALL his free time working at Belltower. He loves being able to create and I love that he is safe!

This class is very enjoyable. This was only my second class here and I feel like Im getting better already. The instructors, Micah and Christopher, are excellent teachers and their story is very inspiring! I will definitely be taking another pottery class here. If youre ever looking for something interesting to do in Memphis then you should book a class here. Did I mention the amazing cappuccino with super friendly baristas?

If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. Belltower has a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that is great for anything from catching up with an old friend to studying for your exams. I’m usually here multiple times per day (which probably says something about my caffeine addiction but who really cares), partly because the owners and employees are all very genuine and easy to talk to. I promise you’ll have a great time if you stop here for your caffeine fix!!

Took the beginners class on learning the wheel..what an awesome experience! My girls loved it too! Great instruction- although there were 9 people in our class there was still one in one time for learning the process! The coffee shop is a bonus - the coffee is so good!

Just discovered this gem two weeks ago. Love the coffee, atmosphere, and service! Especially love that they have Oat Milk. Also love that i’m always productive when I come here. Def recommend this place if you love craft and quality coffee.

What other place can you get coffee and also take a pottery class?!?! For real . . . this place is truly unique and not just for Memphis. I cant think of another place like it. I also love the fact that its a place where local makers can sell their work. I was impressed by the quality of what was available which lets me know the owners have a good eye. Im planning to make this a consistent stop after work and on weekends too. Nice atmosphere and plenty of good parking in the back of the Highland Strip oh and Insomnia Cookies is like two door down. : )

What a truly interesting place! Cool concept and the drinks are divine! Try the Black Berry Cream Latte or the Mango Strawberry Spritzer. Their syrups are homemade! 🤯

Having now had several drinks here and taken a pottery class, I can say that this is one of my new favorite places in Memphis. The pottery wheel class was well structured and they offer several additional classes that I look forward to taking in the future. The espresso drinks are phenomenal. While I’ve really enjoyed the drinks I’ve ordered from the menu, it was a lot of fun to partake in “The Barista’s Choice”. After a couple questions, I had a new drink in my hand and all the instructions were told to me on how to order it again.

I got the bottomless cup of coffee and it made for a great morning on a rainy Saturday.

Neat place for coffee, study, or hangout. The pros are the late hours, comfy furniture, and many work tables. The cons are coffee the prices for coffee ($3 for 12oz drip coffee in a to-go cup, $3.50 if you want refills), limited food (muffins, lemon squares, brownies). Also, this is more of a personel issue, but two employees are obviously romantically involved, because my transaction at the register was interrupted by an awkward advance of the boy on the girl!
