I have never in my life been treated as poorly as I was at this supposedly business. And when I contacted the BBB, they are even shocked as to why they are still open. They have at least 1 ongoing suit where them being licensed FFL’s, kind of in between personWhen you buy a handgun online torun your background check, and not only do they charge $75. 00 for the background (BASS PRO ONLY CHARGES $10.00 AND YOUR GREETED WITH A SMILE), if for some reason your not approved then of course you cannot take possession of the firearm, yet you have to trust these people to do so. Don’t risk it, contact the BBB first. Hopefully they get sued and shut down soon. According to the BBB they have not returned a clients 700$ firearm back to Sportsman’s Outdoors in over 30 days, yet told customer they had. So this person is just out 700 until legal action steps in. Now I would be in the same boat had I not read a review on here and called the BBB. Can’t find review now, so either they removed it or something so mine might get removed. I ask you to please copy, paste and keep the word out. And like I said call the BBB if needed.

I have had my review taken down so let me not use profanity and try this again. I paid for my boyfriends firearm from Sportsman Outdoors online. My bf chose Accent Guns and Loans for his FFL. When he received the notification his gun had been delivered he called Accent and was told at 11 am to come the next day they were busy. Now, I have not seen any pawn shop busy since COVID. Didn’t complain and went next day where my bf was turned down after paying 75$ for background check that he was not refunded. (Bass Pro is only 10$ and they smile). So it was up to Access to immediately return firearm to Sportsman, since my bf never took possession. This all started end of May. About a week later I returned with Bf and was rudely told that he should have waited to find out why he was rejected to which I replied I shad worked for Division 8 and could take care of that myself. Was then told that they had already sent it back.Went home contacted Sportsman and will attach photos that I have posted several times proving that they have not.1 more point is my bf returned 1 more time to ask for the tracking number like Sportsman had suggested on the off chance that Access had paid for shipping. He was slandered and told that Access didn’t have to tell him (more slander) only Sportsman and that it was up to sportsman to contact them.The pics I will upload that most likely get taken down are from Sportsman weeks later still saying not only have they not received firearm, Access has not shipped it. Have pics proving it. Now I believe everyone in Memphis has the right to know all of this so they are not out 800$ like myself 6 weeks later. I know I will be refunded, not sure when and hopefully legal action is taken by Sportsman. Don’t think my landlord will take this as a good excuse. Don’t think Access cares less. This is directed at the employee with the rude mouth and manager who literally through my bf out of store when he was confronted and didn’t know how to respond. TRUST ME I WILL BE REFUNDED, and pray that anyone who reads this tells others before it gets removed not to go here.Now, no profanity, nothing but the truth so hopefully this post is not taken down. I will add photos on a part 2 of this review just in case that’s the reason I keep being removed.If you need an FFL That big company on the river named after a fish are kind and only charge 10.00!

Jeff was great! Quickly found a well sought after pistol for me when nobody else could give me an answer other than back ordered for months. He had the gun ordered and delivered in-hand within a week! Awesome customer service, treated me like family!

My experience at Accent was very informative and comfortable. The associate who helped me was easy to talk to and thoroughly answered all of my questions. I recommend this store to anyone looking to purchase a firearm.

Horrible and rude. I wouldn’t give a star unless I had too. They are crooked and no better than the crooks that break in homes and steal your hard earned money, do not trust

Worst gun shop ever. They act prejudice. They want to give you pennies on a gun but sell it original price. And only have 3 parking spots. Better deal on pawn and gun prices at big daddy pawn.

Ive had 2 guns shipped here within a week of each other, from classic firearms. Classic firearms usually included 2 stickers when they ship items. Both times my stickers were missing. I pretty sure the workers are keeping my stickers. I wont be using accent as my ffl anymore.

Picked up a 12 gauge pump shotgun today. Crew was quick, helpful and kind. I drive by this place often but this was my first visit. Not the biggest selection in the city as far as firearms go but they have great prices (especially on used gear). This is also a pawn shop. I play guitar and while I didnt buy any music gear today they had a few cool guitars and a nice selection of used amps. I will be back.

Best customer service BY FAR !! It would be hard to find more freindly or courteous staff anywhere in the country !! They have an excellent selection of Shotguns, Pistols, and Rifles. Tons of accessories and ammo. The way they have all of the hand guns separated and organized is really nice as well. The store itself is very clean, well lit, and looks pretty much brand new ! No reason what so ever to go anywhere else in the Memphis area for anything gun related ( have some cool guitars too ! ). Did I mention they have outstanding customer service !! Very knowledgeable staff and a great selection of firearms. If you need a firearm you can go there and take a look and compare a lot of different makes and models all at the same time to make sure which one feels the best for you. Just like walking into a Department Store, very clean, just a very very nice place. I would definitely recommend them.

Theyre pretty relaxed here and very nice they had the pretty much run of the mill guns Glock, Springfield, f&n to name a few the price was about the same as everywhere else but no great deals so I left empty handed.

Please, do your research before making a purchase from here. They wanted almost twice as much for a firearm that I purchased at American Loan on Poplar. The prices are not competitive here. American Loan also has a 10 month layaway if you need it, and with less money down. I could not believe the difference in the prices. Actually, the gun I purchased was a more expensive gun on the website, but was still way cheaper than their price. I advise you to do your homework.

Great selection of guns and great prices.There is a earlier review by Theresa Jackson that needs to get her facts straight. A.T.F will awhile people to buy a gun as a gift.... but if you openly tell the store that you are not going to be the owner of the gun by law they can not sell you the firearm. So if you buy a gun for a gift do not openly say that and its best to write up some documents like a receipt showing you passed the gun over to another person.

Customer service was excellent! The store across the street (On Summer Ave.) is full of elitist attitude know it alls. I got a SWEET deal on exactly what I was looking for and am going back today when they open for accessories.

This is a great pawn shop actually bought some jewelry there before Ive often bought whos there at the last minute you get ready to do a job and realize youre missing something and this was convenient right around the corner from the job I was doing you didnt made it whole lot easier and it is sunny affordable and price

I brought my scope for these people too mount on my long gun they wouldnt give me a total real price it We from 140 to 196 I went too sportsman warehouse the did it for 32.00 and with a smile

Cant say enough good things about accent guns. I have purchased 2 guns from them in the past couple of years, Ive also had Todd do some Gunsmithing work for me (including cerakote). Todd does great work for a good price. They are very knowledgeable people and are very friendly. I refer all friends and anyone that asks to accent and I will continue to be a customer. If they dont have it there Ill order it through them because I prefer doing business with them. Also theyre prices are very fair. You may not get a steal of a deal but you dont get ripped off either, and you get great customer service!

I will never go here again,At first the guy was really nice and me and a co worker looked around at guns I said I liked a Springfield Xd and showed him,A person that didn’t have a gun and was looking he thought about it and decided he was goin to apply,The guy then turned straight rude my co worker was about to fill out for the gun the guy then told him to put the pad down and explain what he was applying for then ask for both our ids walks off then comes back to accuse us of trying to purchase a gun under the straw law when all I said was I like that that’s a great price.Just a warning to anyone that goes there don’t take a buddy and say you like any guns or you will be tuned away, but guns and ammo fortunately took care of us and we all laughed about it and went on with the day.

These dudes are awesome. Ive bought my Glock 19 and my Ruger LCP there. Theyre willing to work with you on prices, and theyre extremely knowledgeable. Way better than the crotchety old men across the street.

Went in store, wanted to purchase a gun as a anniversary gift, I was given Inaccurate information, workers seemed to have no accurate knowledge of Straw law, I was told that it was totally illegal to purchase a gun as a gift & that no store would ever sell me one for that reason (I already knew the law regarding gift purchases) after speaking with A.T.F, I was told that I could purchase a gift gun for my husband....I think theyshould let customers know, that they dont allow those purchases, and not lead them to think that it is totally illegal to do so.....I will never shop with them......
