I got a mailing about a study of individuals with hearing loss to be tested and outfitted with a hearing aid if tested deficient. I was tested at the Belltone office today. I tested perfect, no loss at any frequency. The test administrator said I could hear tones down to zero dB. I researched cochlear inner ear implants. Multiple streams of audio Binaural beats could do amazing things if you use your imagination.

Very disappointed. Just went in for cleaning of functional hearing aid but technician rendered it useless. Now facing hundreds of dollars in questionable repair or thousands on a new one! In the meantime, will have to rely on an even older device. Summer house guest can look forward to blaring TV, repeating conversation all day long, shouting every word. COVID restrictions may be lifting but without functional hearing aid, this customer will be more isolated than in lockdown! Taking my business & referrals elsewhere.
