Pleasantly surprised walking in here the first time. Highly-staffed, well stocked, great variety, great prices, and random side-note - I love how colorful it is inside. Even better was the down to earth atmosphere and family vibe I felt. Exchanged some much needed smiles and laughs with a fellow customer and honestly walked out feeling great. Im not exaggerating. First impressions are everything as they say.

Stays open late on Sundays. But needs better parking

Hey how you doing I just want to tell you that the Brown jug is one of my favorite liquor stores in Memphis Im from California and they treat me really good there they are really nice people.when I first got here they told me all of the nice spots to go as far as Graceland Bill Street and BB Kings club they are a little bit.and they really have top shelf liquor and have some of the stuff that we have back home in California and its really impressive on the inside and its a really nice part of town I think thats called North Memphis or something like that its not as bad as they say when you walk yeah Im busted.

Super friendly staff will help you with what every they can. This place is under new ownership and they really care about this business. It may be just a small liquor store but they take it very seriously and will give you great service and a good price.

The service there is the best, everybody is always so nice

High prices, high crime area. Big mistake my going here. Over thirty bucks for a handle of Captain Morgan. Caters to those in the neighborhood with no transportation to get other store prices. So afraid of being robbed they talk from behind glass and literal roll the bottle down to you on a home made shut.
