I had a very positive experience buying cologne here as well as perfume for my girlfriend. The salesman was both knowledgeable and polite and suggested several options based on my preferences. I was able to find a lot of things that I havent been able to find at the mainstream stores. He let me smell test everything, even the expensive top shelf perfumes. The prices were quite affordable, much better than Macys and Dillards. I will definitely come back here the next time I need cologne.

I came to the Wolfchase Mall in an attempt to purchase my boys some cologne. One cologne called Hunter, which is actually pretty cheap but smells good, was set to be sold at $35 (which was typically 25-30 everywhere else). After further looking at my receipt I realized they charged me $55 instead of $35. I went back and confronted them about it and the manager got super defensive and then the tag that they placed on it AFTER I INQUIRED ABOUT THE PRICE IS WELL OVER $100!! That cologne isn’t even worth over 40! How do you have it priced on the box for $139??? And then refuse to give me any info on the owner after saying she will be there tomorrow?? I’m coming up here everyday until I see her

I have bought many fragrances from this store kiosk within the past 2-3 months and I have been very pleased. However, they sold me a cologne claiming it was about $120, but they had discounts, so I thought it was a good buy when they said they would sell it to me for $70, but they would mail it to me. It came in the mail today with a receipt that stated that it came from Ebay and it cost $40. I called and talked with the manager and he said “do you not understand how we make money”. I felt taken advantage of since I had been supporting them for so long - I can’t believe I fell for it. I WILL NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN.Update: When I told the manager that I would be posting a bad review - he called me back and asked me to bring the cologne back and they would give me my money back.

I went there to do my Christmas shopping and got so many amazing deals they easily have the best prices in the entire mall and all the workers are so nice and helpful they showed me so many nice fragrances. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I love my people at essence so much I wanted to review all the locations but I only shop at the one in Baton Rouge. If you think its fake here then you dont know any thing about perfume. I buy all my husbands creed from here, used to buy it online but not anymore

Essence is the BEST place to get your perfumes and colognes. Every time I go there I get a great deal. I’ve been shopping with them for about 3 years now and have never been disappointed. Always good customer service and way cheaper that Dillard’s and Macy’s. I’ll never shop anywhere else again!
