We just leased a 2021 Ford Explorer Hybrid from Classic Ford in Me for, Ohio. We have bought several other cars from Classic, but this by far was the best experience. Scott Kidd and Todd Hagedorn were absolutely amazing. With there being very few cars out there, they went above and beyond to get me the exact car I was looking for. They found me a car that was 3 1/2 hours away and had to send someone to get it during some stormy weather. They wanted to make sure that I got the exact car I wanted. Classic Fords tactics are criminal. I had a shredded tire and my check engine light was on because the EVAP pigtail is damaged. I wrote both of these issues with the check engine code on the drop box form, asking for an oral quote on these.I get a call the next day, $210 for one tire including labor. $420 additional if I want them to repair the pigtail wiring. I passed on the wiring and just wanted the tire.I go to pickup my truck today, grand total was $397. The $210 plug a diagnosis fee for the pigtail. He said if I want the pigtail replaced, I will have that fee deducted from the $420.What a joke. I asked for an estimate before work being done. And what diagnosis? I provided the code and issue ahead of time.Completely shady. Last time I was there, the gas tank door wouldnt close. They said it was broken and I needed a whole new housing, $200. I declined. 15 minutes later and 1 youtube video and my gas tank door was fixed. The pin for the door was just sliding up too far.I will not be going back.

Could not recommend these gentlemen or Classic Ford Mentor any higher. Love my truck and will definitely purchase another vehicle at this dealership.

Inquired about a Ford Raptor that was advertised on CarGuru for MSRP.No surprise this dealership practices the ole bait and switch marketing technique and tried to increase the advertised price 10k markup afterwards. I politely declined wasnt interested in paying above MSRP and was then asked if I would be a buyer at MSRP.. if so Come In Today!After already identifying their unethical business strategy did not feel confident in rushing down there to be hit with more gimmicks and glad I didnt.. Before I could even get a reply sent back, Bill Cheraso their Internet Manager had already sent back a very rude and nasty message saying GoodBye.I would stay away from any dealership who uses unethical bait and switch marketing techniques as well as putting incompetent workers in Manager positions that make it so easy to lose deals. OWNER should fire this clown!!

We had our 2013 Ford Explore in for service. Initially the rear brakes were suspected to be our problem so we had paid for the repair. After driving we still had same issue and the cost to repair for the actual problem was extremely high. The service Manager worked with us since we spent a good deal of money already and he brought the cost down where it was manageable to get repair completed. My hats off to the service Manager as I will be lifetime customer. Thank you!!

I just leased a 2018 Ford EcoSport 3-9-18. I cant say enough great things about the recent experience I had with Classic Ford in Mentor. I will try to keep it short. Zach Alicea was OUTSTANDING! Being an A-Plan customer and receiving a substantial discount, I expected Zach to do his job, sell me the car, and move on. Because the car was new to the market this year, they were hard to come by. I wanted a specific Blue Candy color with a specific package. This specific car was extremely difficult to find. Based on the amount of communication I was getting from Zach, I could tell that he was trying way above and beyond I had ever expected.Zach made sure that everything went perfectly for me and it did! From the moment I walked into the dealership, I felt like a queen! I felt as if I was the only customer in the entire place. Zach made sure to introduce me to everyone involved; insurance, finance, service, etc. I am a loyal customer to Classic Ford in Mentor and have always had good experiences. First off I want to say that the sales side of Classic Ford is FANTASTIC. I absolutely love their sales staff and the service they offer. The short side of this dealership is the service department. I have had 3 bad experiences with their service department. The first being that they stripped the lugnuts while rotating my tires, which caused me to have to replace EVERY SINGLE LUGNUT. The next issue, I had checked in for my oil change appointment and sat in the waiting room. After 3 hours I went up to the desk and asked if my car was done. The lady at the desk (who was different from the one I checked in with) had no idea where my car was. After 20 minutes of that poor girl running around she found out that the girl I checked in with had decided to leave without informing the shop floor my car was even there. So I had sat there for 3 hours already to find out they had not started on my car because someone was in a rush to go home. The most recent, I made an appointment online for 3 p.m. on a Saturday. I came in and checked in where they guy at the desk rudely said they close at 3 and to not make any more appointments online. He found someone willing to do the oil change and cooled off when he came back, but overall was still rude. I hope they iron out the issues in the service department because it truly drags this dealership down.

Spent 1,700 on new alternator, battery, belt, labor.Dealer did not hook up the turbo blow off valve return line and my truck was sucking in dirty air for 500 miles.I hope that they did not leave any other surprises for me to find!

Always have a positive experience when dealing with Classic Ford. I leased a car from them last April. Unfortunately the car has had some issues and has needed to be brought in for repairs and maintenance. The staff was courteous and efficient at their jobs. My car has been ready in a few days each time. They have also provided me with a loaner car thats the same make as mine, which is greatly appreciated.
The service department at classic ford of mentor was not as helpful as they should of been when working on my vehicle. I was not kept in the loop with anything and every time I had to call to find out what had to be fixed they were very low key with me and felt like they were not giving me the information need to correctly understand what was going on with my vehicle. I was also told of the start time of working on my vehicle and when I called the next day to fleet an update, I was told they just started working on it for real this time after being told it was started the day before. I give it a one star because of the fact the only good thing about my experience was the representative helping me check out was more helpful then the person I had been working with.

This was our first scheduled maintenance check. The only thing checked was the oil and wind shield washer fluid.Anti-freeze was below minimum. Brake fluid was below minimum. Neither was stopped off

This was at classic ford ! Had an appointment, it was an hour before they brought it in. 3 hours later, they brought a diagnosis. $1,200 to fix truck. Took it to Freidman auto. Next day fixed $380.00, some one unplugged my 4 wd. Someone was padding the bill !!! 😞😠😠

Two bad experiences here..My 2017 Escape had the spark plug weld itself in place due to a crack in the engine block that allowed coolant into the head. Ford has a tech bulletin on this exact issue. Does would not cover anything since it was 8k over the power train warranty. They first quoted me $8k to fix but reduced the price to $5k. This was all rediculous for a 2 year old car with 68k mi on it.They had my car for 12 weeks before it was complete.The rep wouldnt answer any communications until he needed the loaner car exchanged.Now my wifes fusion has several recalls and one actually affected it, so it needed to be towed there. No charge to repair and cover the warranty work, but they charged me $100 for it being towed there. Yup, thats it, a Benjamin for the fact a tow truck brought it to them.The wifes car has already been traded in on a new Camry.No more Classic, no more Fords.

Classic group are scam artists. They will not negotiate fairly especially on end of lease if you want to buy the car you leased. Finance people are crafty and will have you sign papers before filling in all the required information and then put a larger dollar amount in place of what was originally negotiated. Buyers beware!

Joe, again, went over everything: operationally; loan payment information; titling and registration; etc.I couldnt be happier. This is the second vehicle purchased from Classic; the other was a Hyundai for my wife. Same great service both times.
