Half of the time most produce is past ripe. Soft skinned fruit and onions are almost always bruised and have fruit flues. Bananas are either green or getting black from being in sunlight. Fresh meat packages are sticky from poor handling when wrapping. Lately shelves are half empty and boxes of stock just sitting in the isles.They are in desperate need of some quality control.

Expect fair prices and a huge variety of groceries. Friendly staff. Mostly busy when I come here.

Our local “big” grocery store. It is pricey, but you just have to do your shopping for the best prices. Love their kitchen. We get take out from there often and the food is delicious.

Great produce selection and prices. The Meat and Fish counters overwhelming stench made me nauseous. Feels like the store doesnt get cleaned that often by looking at the floors. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Love the meat department there. It is an open counter where you order what you want and they weigh it up for you and the package it while you wait. You can even get taco meat already seasoned. Just take it home and cook it by directions and its ready to eat. Lots of types of meats already seasoned ready to cook and you just have to let them know how much you want of each item and how much you want in each pack. Pick you up some of the large packs of tortillas and youre ready for a big dinner. Not many of these types of places anymore to buy meat from a meat counter. Lots of items at reasonable prices throughout the store. They have items that I cannot find anywhere else. The bakery has ready made pastries and cakes or you can order what you want and they will bake it on the day you choose. Give the store a try and youll love it.

This place is excellent! Super clean, chill, and the tacos where juicy.

It had the pinatas my daughter in law wanted for her sons birthday party. I stayed in the car, but I have been there before.

Clean store, nice variety of produce, a little pricey but great sales. I ordered take out for dinner, the food was really good and at a great price for 2 under 20.00.

The store is huge and theyve got just about anything you could possibly want as far as groceries go. They also have a deli and a food court. Although some items are a little pricey, theyre pretty competitive for the most part.

I love that they sell the very best cakes. By the slice even!

Nice grocery store with decent variety and well stocked shelves. Has Mexican cantina, food to go with large menu. Also a bakery with daily confections and a variety of birthday cakes made to order. Plus a large meat and seafood section with butchers on hand to assist any customer needs/requests.

I enjoy coming here for my lunch break. They have a decent menu of Hispanic dishes that are homemade and fresh. The store is clean and the employees are kind. The make great Aqua Frescas!! The also make family sized dinners that you can order in advance and pick up later for dinner time.

From a truck drivers perspective. I bob tail in on my way back to work after hometime. Parking in the back for bob tail, no trailers. Decent prices, friendly people and an amazing ethnic hot deli. If you are in the area, stop on in!

The best store for any Mexican cooking.

This store has a large variety of product to choose, from produce to frozen entrees, desserts, and vegetables. Anything youd ever want to drink,sports drinks, beer, soda, One of the best meat selections Merced a full butchery in the back. Conveyance of two entree doors and plenty of parking.

The general store section is pretty good, but the food court is terrible. They sure take a LONG time to get the orders ready, especially when some of the food is already ready (menudo, birria, etc). I have seen them talk with clients for several minutes, even 2 workers at one time, when there are plenty of orders waiting to get done.

I like this store, however some of the cashiers need to change there attitudes when dealing with customers. Talk to the customer and not at them. Also if youre going to talk bad about a customer while speaking spanish, you should never assume that they dont speak the language. And I have yet to see and sanitation practicing with those shopping carts.

The bread and hot food are good here.

Excellent. Very clean . They had everything I need. There was a big line at the check out but you could see The sacrifice they were making to minimize the waiting time. The tamales we Made from masa we bought here. Were delicious. I would recommend this store to my family and friends.

I just spend 30 minutes for only 2 large refried bean containers. Really! They need to hire more help at the food court. Next time I will drive the distance to Bajio or Cardenas store.

I love the hot food behind the counter on the left hand side of the store where they cook it for you. And the prices you cant beat for the quality of food you receive. 😊

I had to give them 4 stars for their cleanliness and customer service.Some of their items are way overpriced, like double what I pay in San Francisco. I do go to this store frequently and purchase sale items and other items which are reasonably priced. They have a large selection of cooked and regular grocery items. The deals certainly outweigh the items that are over priced. I definitely recommend this store andI will be back!!

This is close by so it is convenient, has great prices on canned foods, I just cant speak the language.

I went in there to get the spicy fruit in the cup. There was no one at the counter to wait on me. The place look like a ghost town. I ended up leaving the store and going to another little Mexican store.

I always have a great shopping experience at Rancho San Miguel in Merced,Ca. The parking lot is always clean and the employees are very respectful, polite, and more than will to help and answer any questions a customer may have. The cleanliness is excellent. The vegetables and fruits are always very neaty displayed and fresh. The food court is always very clean and I always see all of Rancho San Miguels employees Sanitizing the freezers counters tops cash register areas.when it comes down to taking care of business Rancho San Miguels employees get it done. We loved the market and noticed the restaurant as you walk in. We bought the chicken enchiladas and Chile rellenos for dinner takeout. It was delicious and we could not be happier. Courteous staff, fair price and large meal. Highly recommend!

This my first experience at a Mexican market. Its a great place to shop for groceries if youre on a budget. The prices are slightly below Food Max although the Mexican cashier was not friendly, she refused to respond to my questions, did not acknowledge the good morning greetings. This made my wife and me very unwelcomed. Maybe thats the way the Mexican people treat Americans!?

I stopped at Rancho because it was on the way home. I like Rancho because they have the best open butcher market in town. The store caters to the Hispanic community but you can find anything there except Asian products. Great place to shop and prices are reasonable depending on what you are looking for..

Good place to shop for groceries has most authentic Mexican products. Has a pretty good food court mostly all Mexican. The reason why I didnt get five stars because they dont have hand baskets for small items which makes it very hard to maneuver around. So would be nice if they can take care of that problem other than that its all right place.

Came down visiting from Oregon and I always come here when Im in town. Seriously my favorite grocery store and spot to eat a great meal. Was super pleased that I got two giant chicken leg quarters for 2.99 altogether! Yum! My boyfriend also loves all the assortments of candies, he enjoys trying them all (: thanks guys, keep up the great work!

If I spend $25.00 or more they will provide transportation home. This is very convenient. Anyone who has to take the bus to get groceries I would recommend this store.
