If not for the chocolate filled churros or the local section of the farmers market area, this would be a dud. But its a fun Saturday morning ritual and every once in awhile, you find a gem. Lots of parking and only $1 to enter.
I love going for the gems and stones people that sell them in far back of the flea market. Great people.
Was afraid that due to covid there would be less tenders, but good thing it was full. Just not many food vendors. Cant walt to go this weekend!
The fresh water is amazing I personally prefer watermelon flavor
Always a cool little pit stop when I need to pick up quality produce for reasonable prices or fresh flowers for wifey... or even for a nice Saturday stroll as you bargain hunt.Hungry? You can find a wide selection of food as well including tacos.. burritos.. chinese food.. churros... corn... fresh fruit cups / bowls etc... and heck.. you can even put the kiddies on a pony ride as I just saw two different ones there. It costs .50 cents to get in.. and kids are free.Other items include mens..womens and childrens clothing and shoes.. cooking pans.. pots.. utensils.. work attire and vests... electronics (the stuff with weird name brands mostly lol)Overall i would say its worthy of a trip. So if you need to waste some time on a Saturday... dont hesitate to stop by ... there are 2 or 3 entry points off G st. And one on the back side.. off of 9th St and E.Happy shopping!
I been going here for a long time. they have food beverages and snaks. Elote, tacos,Aguas frescas churros, birria quesadillas, menudo totilocos, fruta, icecream snowcone, etc. They have alot of thrift store items for a better price than the thrift store and also new items, they also sale plants and fresh frute, vegetables and used and new clothe ( I think the new clothes is over price ). The entrance fee is $1dll. Kids free . The parking lot is free and they recently fill in all the holes with gravel. They need to update they car entrance and exit systems . The way it is causes to much traffic in Gst. Maybe to only entrance only exit. And in the future they also need to update the restrooms. Is a good place to eat have fun and spend.
Not bad . Low end flee market
Had a great time .
Loaded baked potato was awesome. Fresh pomegranate in a cup with tajin and fresh squeezed limon and chamoy. My kids were so happy. And my husband got me a beautiful long stem rose. It was a great afternoon.
Its was alright alot if stuff
Jesus christ bru all day shout out to my street preachers serving them tickets out for God by the flea market one lord one faith one love keep it pushing bru
Too tiny .not worth the Drive... San Jose or Stockton is better
A place to get fresh fruits, veggies. Here in Merced. I could use my food stamp card. I think. Not sure. Dont know where its at?
Fun to go to lots of things to see lots of stuff to do on the goodies to buy
We like the stuff we find for sale here, unique and interesting finds, also like the atmosphere and vibe here.
Cool place but has been lacking posts in the past months, as in less places (posts) selling stuff. The food is delicious, a long with a nice community environment with various things to see and buy. The people selling there are usually always generous and really nice people.
Really enjoyed the walk thru here. I did notice people were struggling with their wheelchairs or strollers because of the gravel. Other than that very clean, great prices, friendly staff and vendors. Will definitely be going back!
Its pretty big good deals go early its hot looking around in the heat
Not bad. We l ok we love capital flea. But since we moved to LB have bot really found a nice flea market. This one is good.
Fresh food, exotic produce, furniture, giant blankets, pony rides, and so much more. If youre looking for anything in particular, you might be in luck. Theres something new each week. My only real concern is the handling and treatment of the live pets/animals, but overall, its a good place to shop. Check it out for yourself. You may find it worthwhile. :3
I always love coming here. Its a small swap meet but it has a little bit of everything. You can expect buy a little bit of everything from Western wear to power tool. Or if youre looking for something to eat or drink I recommend coming here for their roasted corn and fresh water beverages such as horchata and Jamaica waters. Even just to walk around and browse I recommend you to come here and check it out
I love the vibe here at this open air market and the vendors are super friendly as well! Not pushy about what they sell and everything they sell are of superior freshness! 😍😍 All things sold here have to be paid in cash so be ready and get your bucks ready!! No worries tho, everything is very well priced and is just like a traditional farmers market, not one of those fake ones lol 😂
Love it bit i only wish it was bigger good tacos there
The Merced flea market is one of my favorite place to go on Saturday. It is one of the place I like to go to get food.I just love the roasted corn with mayo and cheese, for $3.I just found out that this flea market is open year-round, even in the dead of winter. I give this flea market thumbs up because on any given Saturday you got at least 8 to 1,200 people coming in and out.Needless to saythis flea market has it going on. The money is there in the people are there, what more can you ask for
Great price and good things to buy.
Ok
A good place to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. They only take cash so make sure you have cash. There are some other things available in addition to fresh produce such as crafts etc. Open on Saturday morning.
Very exciting my first experience i wanted to buy everything
Mouth watering smell of food is divinity manifest on Earth. Good deals and a wide variety of products make this a shoppers paradise. I hate shopping but I love this place. The miss can get what she wants and I get the best Merced has to offer in taco truck cullinary delights.
The best flea market in this area...and they even have pony rides. Perfect....
Fruit is really cheap & quality is good :)
I like to freely miles in the friendly people here
Love the chicken on the stick and fries
Most multiculturally diverse flea market in the county. The colorful booths and friendly vendors are alluring and sentimentally nostalgic of summer days. It is the place to eat Chinese and Mexican food and to shop for great bargains. If you love fresh produce picked right out of the farm, this is the place to go on a Saturday.
Flea market is at the fairgrounds. The Farmers market is at another location on 16th Street. I love strolling around flea market. Great place to buy veggies and fruits. Occasionally might find something else I may need. Cheap prices. I also like to support our Farmers market. All locally grown fruit and veggies.
Inexpensive place to bring the family fun to walk around just looking. Inexpensive fresh fruit and vegetables. A variety of good food. Toys, clothes, boots, hats, electronics, jewelry, makeup and more.
Big place, you can find great deals and good food too. Busy place.
You can get fresh veggies and good food clothes and other things
I love the fresh fruit and vegetables. The feeling of community is wonderful
Love this place. They have wonderful staff and the sellers are all polite. Go every saturday.
A good place to find mexican products that are not typically sold on stores for a good price.
I love this place. That’s on period.
Its a great place to buy fresh produce
Its not bad. You can definitely get cheap fresh produce. Most of the makeup they have for sale is from couponers or from DTLA.Everyone has always been friendly and have never had amy problems there. Its $0.50 to get in. Take a basket on wheels or something mobile to carry around all the stuff youll buy.
Always looking forward to every Saturdays when the Flea market is here. Never know what youll find here, you just have to be willing to show up when the gates open, feels like an exciting thrill of rush.
Im disabled, a little hard to get around in my wheelchair because of lots of gravel. Good fruits and veggies...
Love the flea market. need to work on better plan for enter and exit routes for parking lot.
I grew up coming here and it never grows old. Chinese vendors Mexican and everything here its amazing
Ive been to Selma and I feel the prices there were more fair compared to Merced. Also Merced doesnt have as much variety
They have good corn nice place to go walk with the family
Nice place to get fresh veggies and fruits! Nice beverages and churros too!
Always fun to go here. Lots of stuff to look at.
I love all the veggies and fruit. The prices are low which is great for the budget. I will be back.
Vendors are always great with potential customers. Prices are good and best thing is that they offer fresher produce than the local big chain grocery stores.
The selection of produce is really great (and of course the prices are supurb). I just wish there were more vendors and more variety of products.
I love a good flea market, and this one is great!
It would be nice if it were more wheelchair accessible
So much to see! Very busy, so many choices. Very uneven terrain, be careful.
Pretty descent size and lots of cool things to see
Great food. Some very interesting things to buy here and the people are kind
Very nice place, to buy some fresh fruits, and what I like is the guy that sales shrimps, octopus, clams etc, he shell them cheap

I appreciate that they even come I think everyone enjoys them
The vendors are all very friendly and helpful... Its clean and peaceful...
I LOVE THE BANNANNA WATER! This place is the only place that serves my favorite drinks and food. Other than that its a good size and the merchants are bartable. Good place to go see what people are saying.
This Flea market is pretty big for Merced and I like their wide variety of foods along with the stuff all around being sold. I would definitely recommend!
Its a good place too walk around and get something to snack on
Not a bad place to spend your day, some days it great and some days its not so good.
Good place to find watermelon drink and food
Best place to got Saturday morning like a giant yard sale with food except when it rains
I love going to the flea market and just walking around
Quaint and nice. Goos deals!
Wow bad produce and really unorganized. The only good thing was the corn stand.
Love to go on a Saturday but not as many venders any more. Love the Aguas and the fruit.
Can find alot of things here at a reasonable price. Fruit and vegetables are really low. You have some taco trucks and a truck that sells asian food. Both of them are really delicious.
It was worth the trip Chinas food an fresh fruit.
Little bit of everything sold here.
Get out there and walk, and maybe meet new people, or meet up to have a some food, and alot of things for sale. Alot.
It was good.

Horrid place. Better prices at the store. Will never return
Lots of things you could get here, if youre a makeup lover, theres a lot of makeup stands for quality makeup for lower prices. You can bargain your way of course
Not enough appeal to the merchandise. Great outdoor activity though
Pretty good merchandise, $5 - Portable DVD Player
$.50 to get in kids 12> free good stuff, fresh selection of food, kinda of dirty though need to find a way to keep dust down.
I personally dont care for it, but they haya lot of variety. Prices are maybe a bit too high.
