Design Innovations by Franklin Building Supply rates 5 stars, especially Jammie. Shes so kind and knowledgeable and makes us feel like our concerns matter. They have worked so well with us on some flooring warranty issues and worked as quickly as they could during these Covid times.

We had a great experience. Franklin builders took good care of us in regard to our granite countertops. Couple months after they were installed we had some settling and the seam reappeared. Jammie in the warranty department got back to me right away to get an appointment set up for repair. Greg came out to take care of us it was the third time we saw him. He was the one who did the initial measurement and was there during installation and again during repair and was professional and took very good care of us. A+

These guys have TOP quality product at a reasonable price! The sales team is so cooperative and so willing to go above and beyond to get you what you want when personalizing your house. Don’t get me started on the gorgeous receptionist who was also very helpful with guiding me to where I needed to be. 10/10 would recommend going here!

We designed our entire house with Dana and Design Innovations staff. She was great and the facility was great. Designing a home is a daunting task and it was SO extremely helpful to have the array of products available to look at and compare as well as a trained designer to help navigate all the decisions. I would recommend using design innovations.

I bought a new home three years - Design Innovations did the interior. After a year my carpet started buckling and when I called, right away, they sent Rick Swank out who cheerfully fixed it for no charge. It happened again this year in another room and it was the same thing - Rick came right away, like an old friend, and the problem was fixed at no charge. Thank you everyone at Design Innovations!!

Was told by Chris I could stop in during hours and look at catalogs for new front door. Was doing just that when a sales associate with another customer asked what was I doing and did I gave an appointment. Then told me to leave the table I was at, take one catalog with me and sit elsewhere or take that one catalog home with me. There were several catalogs there on the table I wished to look at. After moving elsewhere for a couple of minutes I left humiliated in front of other customer. Plenty of competitors to go to and on line sales, will not go back here after the way I was talked to and treated. Telling builder not to use Franklin for our needs any further

I worked with Kim to identify the right finish quality, colors, and pricing to complete all the flooring and counter surfaces in our premium multi-family product. She work hard for us and the finished product came out great. After working with several others in the valley with poor product results and little to no support during the warranty period following product and install failures (Sherwin Williams and Flooring America), Ill continue to take my business to Kim.

The Design Innovations showroom is very impressive. Patti is very knowledgeable and helpful in making selections. She is organized and makes the process easy.

Do not ever work with their design shop. HORRIBLE communication with customers and within their company. The entire experience from start to end was just awful. First we could barely get the design shop to call us back. He would take days to return calls unless my husband called him multiple times. Then, we were told it would be possible for the fabrication guys to get all of our cuts for counters without seams. We even told the design guy we would buy two slabs of quartz just to not have seams but were assured that one piece was enough. The template guys come out and they claim we cant get everything without seams. Finally had to get ahold of the fabrication manager and he found a way to get all cuts out of one slab without seams. The counters were installed, one of them wasnt level and because the construction with our cabinets was behind the install guys asked if they could just leave one counter and a tube of glue and asked if we would install it later ourselves. After install we noticed that they did not drill the hole for the faucet center on the sink, they ended up having to replace the entire counter because they were so far off and oh yeah they cracked our sink so we had to buy a new one of those. In order to get all of this fixed, I had to go above the fabrication manager and the lady I ended up working with, Patti is horrible at communicating as well and not the least bit understanding. Their fabrication manager Justin offered us a discount off our quote after I sent him photos of our sink hole drilled wrong but now Patti says because Justin didnt make any notes in the file we arnt getting a discount; who would expect a company who cant even communicate with each other to communicate that a customer needs a discount because the company was awful. This project was started in August and it is now November and still not finished; fingers crossed it is actually finished tomorrow. Ugh, this company sucks. Dont use them.

We built a house and decided to use Franklin for not only our lumber but to install our cabinets and flooring as well. The lumber was fine as you dont pay too much attention to loads of wood showing up to build a house, but the cabinets and flooring not so much. We were told that they did custom cabinets by our builder Jim Shervick so we gave them a try. They gave us prices on the cabinets but couldnt seem to put a flooring bid together at all (5 weeks). After we gave them the cabinet job we found out that custom wasnt exactly true, they build cabinets, but only to build around, not to fit in your floor plan, and if they have to try and build something to fit in your floor plan they are thousands more than a real cabinet company. We worked around it and found that they didnt plan for the height of the flooring going in so we had a gap between our counter and cabinets that wouldnt fit any normal appliances under it (coffee maker, blender, ect.). When we informed them that all of our kitchen cabinets werent to code and nothing would fit they looked at us for answers. Please look at Dillabaughs (did an unbelievable job on our floor), or a comparable for these items in your build as you will save time and money in the long run, let Franklin stick to delivering uncut sticks of wood.

What a waste of my time. How long does it take for a bathroom vanity quote especially when I showed them the photo and measurement I wanted.
