Been doing business with Dan at Hawktech for years has always been well informed, and Hes never lead us in the wrong direction for our application. I highly recommend them when interested in purchasing a firearm or accessories. Ive been going to these guys for a couple of years now and thought it was time to give them a review. They talk guns, not politics. They are friendly and professional whether you are buying a $3,000 carbine or a $20 sight install. I had an issue with a slide not locking back and failed with various professional sources to figure out what the problem was, they solved it for me in about 10 minutes. I am a fan of the shop and the people. If you are new to guns they will get you up to speed. If you are an experienced shooter, they are just fun to chat too.

Originally called around to a few shops in the area looking for someone to transfer and ship an M16 for me to a friend in Oregon. Initially called over to Idaho Arms and Ammo, but they were quite rude and informed me that they only ship to “gun friendly” states and wouldn’t ship it to South Oregon for me. So I then reached out to the folks over at HawkTech, and they said it wouldn’t be a problem at all and provided me with all the info I needed before heading down. Upon showing up I was greeted by a gentleman (whose name I can’t recall) who was more than helpful transferring ownership and setting it up to be shipped. While in there I decided to browse their inventory a bit and was looking at a potential purse gun for the wife. The same gentleman walked me through all the options and provided me with just about all the information one would ever want when considering such a purchase. As we finished up the transfer and shipping of my gun I decided to take his advice with regards to a new gun for the wife (Springfield Armory Hellcat 9mm) and both the wife and I are stoked with the purchase. He showed me the ins and outs of the handgun in a way that I could easily relay the information over to my wife as I presented her with her great equalizer. She loves her new gun and I am happy that she likes it and I now have the comfort of knowing she and my 2 daughters will be much safer while they are out and about without me. They carry quality gear, plenty of AR parts, have pretty helpful staff and their prices are competitive.Ive bought plenty of stuff from them and have never yet felt the kind of regret that comes with seeing a much better deal online when I get home. You can likely find better sales online if you wait, but if you need something today or tomorrow, going here is a pretty sure bet.

Been shopping here for the last 5 years so I figured Id write a few words. In a nutshell, Hawktech Arms and the crew are awesome. Customer service is great and the guys (and gal) really know their stuff and are genuinely nice. They carry Blue label Glocks, Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment, Suppressors (with a Silencershop kiosk to make the paperwork a breeze), handguns, rifles, weapon parts(slings, triggers, internal parts, etc) optics, magazines, first aid supplies, and targets. Their Glock selection is always excellent, and they carry alot of parts you usually can only find online. During non pandemic/ political scare season they also have ammunition and reloading supplies, although its mostly 9mm, 45, 223/556, 308, and some 300Blk. Although I havent used it, they also have a gunsmithing service. I bought an ALG A.C.T trigger here once, and didnt want to drive home to install it before I went to test fire it. One of the employees let me borrow a hammer and punch so I could install it right there at the store. Not saying theyll let you build your whole rifle at the store, but its just one example of the excellent customer service here. Prices are always fair here compared to the other local shops. They even have a couch for your girl to sit on while you browse. Oh and the dogs are great too and they are pet friendly. I can honestly say that Hawktech is the best shop in Idaho and you should stop by and support a great local business.

Did an FFL transfer here, I found them to be real helpful. They were quick and courteous. I pet their dog and browsed their items-which seemed reasonably priced- while I waited for the FBI. Good selection of cans I noticed.

The guys here not only know their stuff when it comes to black gun upgrades as well as 3 gun and 10/22 match grade guns, but they are NICE people to do business with. They carry only a limited supply of lubes and solvents, but what they carry is only the stuff that is top notch and works far better than your big box stores and other local dealers carry. I have never bought a gun from them, but do buy accessories, cleaning supplies for the guns I already own and they have done trigger spring kit replacements for me for very reasonable labor charges. I support them 100%.

The best experience I have ever had at a gun shop. I have purchased a few suppressors and firearms through HawkTech the past few years and they are always helpful and knowledgeable. Most gun shops I go into tend to be full of guys that dont want to give me the time of day and are full of know it alls. This is not the case with Hawk Tech! They will always have my business and I will continue to send all my family and friends to them.

I took a rifle build to these guys to do the barrel setup for me and they did a great job.

I had an issue when I was testing my first AR build. Not only did they have parts in stock that wold have to have been ordered online because others would not have them, but they helped me identify the issue correctly and I was able to fix the issue and get my name AR working great. Wish I had known about them sooner.(Actual AR issue: the Palmetto State Premium BCG extractor was not to spec. The rim cut was WAY too shallow and it would not extract)

I had a ffl transfer for which they have a reasonable charge.These guys were really helpful and professional. Great local shop I will be visiting for more of my needs.

This is a great gun shop, full of extremely knowledgeable people. These guys are not judgemental or uppity when talking to those of us that are less knowledgeable about firearms. Most gun shops have a big counter that makes it feel like us versus them where as here they crossed the counter and spent time chatting with individuals. I enjoyed my time there and learned a lot.

Bought my first gun from here, Bill was very knowledgable about the guns and gave me a great deal on a 1911 that Ill keep forever!

HawkTech assembled 2 new AR15s for me and they have been fantastic to work with. They worked with Brock at McM firearms out of nampa to pin and weld a 14.5 rifle and recently finished my wifes 10.5. Ive ran thousands of rounds through these guns without a single failure. They are good people to work with. They are a small operation focused on more competition style shooting and gear, so they dont have a huge selection of reloading equipment. But they can order just about anything for you upon request and some upfront deposits.

Dan and his crew are great to work with. Bought a couple Glocks here now. Dan gave up a gun that he had reserved for himself, since mine was taking a while to come in. Will always work to give you a great deal.

Knowledgeable, friendly, and a solid business. Not your hole-in-the-wall, “prepper-doomsday” gun shop. (You know exactly what I’m talking about!). Love the people and the fact they carry quality products at fair prices. Whether shipping a M82A1 or a .22 Silencer from an online buy using their FFL... or purchasing ammo and other gear, they’ve been a gem to work with. Last- They know how to use the phone. I’ve received actual phone calls from them letting me know a product has arrived. Who does that anymore.

Called them up looking for an upper assembly for an AR rifle platform they had one with a lower parts kit witch I did not need. so they were willing to separate the upper assembly and get me what I needed and come in under budget. Thank you very much guys. I purchased it and a few other items same day. Update called Hawktech on Saturday the 21st wanted to purchase some things and ooooh boy did they hook it up was able to complete my AR pistol build and then some plus I called because they close at 1600 and couldnt get there till 1615 they stayed open to assist me. Outstanding and knowledgeable staff, surprisingly wide selection for a little store, and very good prices. Ive purchased two guns there and in both cases the price was significantly lower than everywhere but reserve prices at Gunbroker. Powder, primers and bullets priced great, and a wide selection of reloading equipment (need a Dillon, RCBS or Hornady part, they probably have it in stock).

A small, but well stocked store, though they seem to be out of things recently with empty shelves. Prices here are on the more expensive side, sometimes ridiculously so. Nevertheless, an all around pleasant experience with friendly people.
