I have been wearing hearing aids for years. I have always had a problem hearing, even with new hearing aids. I decided it was time to try another audiologist.I decided to try Treasure Valley Hearing and Balance, Nampa office. Kelly advised me that my current hearing aids were very underpowered, and inappropriate for my needs. Kelly recommended the correct hearing aids. I can now hear better than I have been able to hear in years. Kelly, and Chelsea having been going out of their way to fine tune my new hearing aids, with outstanding results.I highly recommend Treasure Valley Hearing and Balance. Kelly, and Chelsea, have been outstanding. They are both very professional, courteous, and made sure all of my needs were met.

Dr. Whitcomb is excellent. He explained things as he did them. He let me ask questions and answered them in a way that I, as a patient, could easily understand. His ‘bedside manner’ is wonderful and it was a very pleasant experience.There was a hiccup with my account, but Janice, the GM, had called me and squared everything away fairly easily.I appreciate this business and they deserve the 5 stars.

I started wearing hearing aids at the age of 40 and have continually lost hearing as I age. Changing doctors after seeing my previous one for 15 years was a very hard decision. From the first time I went to the office I felt very comfortable and felt that everyone was very patient oriented. Since I started there Dr. Whitcomb was able to correctly diagnosed Menieres disease and send me to another wonderful specialist, as well as he help me obtain new hearing aids that meet my needs. He also, without my pressuring, went back to the manufacturer when the hearing aids I bought had a problem holding a charge. He worked with the manufacturer to swap out my hearing aids with no charge to me. I have recommended this office to many friends and will continue to do so.

Dad, who just turned 96, needed a new hearing aid. He lost the hearing in one ear and it is important that hearing in the other ear be protected for as long as possible. He saw Dr. Whitcomb for a hearing evaluation and a new hearing aid was ordered. It was not the same as his old one and Dad had a difficult time adjusting. Dr. Whitcomb did not give up. The maker of the first hearing aid was no longer in business so the doctor made a number of calls and located a newer model of the first hearing aid in stock. It was configured and Dad is happy with the new aid. Dr. Whitcomb and staff were patient with Dad and always had a smile. I recommend them to anyone who is in need of a hearing evaluation and hearing aids.

My mother had started experiencing difficulty with hearing a number of years ago. In October 2018, we decided to schedule a consult with Dr. Whitcomb. We have both been so impressed with Dr. Whitcomb and the staff at Treasure Valley Hearing and Balance. Dr. Whitcombs consult was thorough and he genuinely listens to the concerns of his patients. My mother decided to move forward with Dr. Whitcombs recommendation for hearing aides. They have been a total success. My mother is now able to listen to the TV, have conversations on the telephone, and converse with others without the anxiety of not being able to hear them. I continue to be grateful for the professionalism of this practice. Dr. Whitcomb is extraordinarily concerned with how his patients adapt to their hearing aides and has thorough follow-up care.
