The best hearing aids ever
My husband just purchased hearing aids from this company. We were told that his insurance would cover $1500.00. So they collected all but $1500 from us. I do not have the figure in front of me as I type this review, but we paid multi thousands up front at visit number 1. This was a Saturday. They couldnt call insurance to confirm how much they would pay. It ended up the union my husband works for has a contract with this hearing aid company to pay well over $1500.00. What ended up happening is, my husband got a statement from insurance detailing the figures, and they ended up paying all but Approx. $925.00 for the aid, therefor meaning our only patient amount due was Approx. $925.00.W We over paid Accuquest multiple thousands of dollars. So they took thousands from us and thousands from insurance, therefor double dipping. As far as I am concerned this is insurance fraud. We called their Corp office twice and have got voice mail. No one even has the respect to call us back. And the local office to which we paid our money to would not deal with us. They know they are in the wrong. We have been in contact with our union and they confirm what we are saying is correct and that they do in fact owe a refund and we over paid and they are the ones who told us about this contract. Accuquest refuses to reimburse our money. We will be contacting our attorney and BBB. This isnt a small figure to brush under the rug. This is a huge dollar amount. To take advantage of a hard working man who lost his hearing due to his job and take advantage of him like that is disgusting. This is company who deals with people who have medical needs. This is not a luxury. This is a medical device. How can you take advantage of someone like that? Please do not go hear for hearing aids!
