I went to Home Depot and asked for help about my bathtub rusting. The people in the paint department were distracted and did not give me much help, so I drove to Ace and was greeted at the door. When one associate wasnt sure how to help me, he promptly took me to another and they both spent time discussing the solution with me and helped me find the correct products. So nice!

How can one little store hold so much! Got my compost, some hardware and a greeting card. Everyone was helpful. You cant beat it.

Went in to find a part for my sink, I was able to find the part. However, the store is extremely dark, I needed to use the flashlight on my phone to see some of the lower products. It also feels like a wearhouse more so than a retail store.

I had to go to Ace Hardware to buy a belt for my lawn mower it was extremely affordable and everybody was over there is willing to help you and thats the Ace Hardware on North Courtenay across the street from McDonalds in Merritt Island

Best next competitor to Lowes and Home Depot. PLUS, this store has a small outdoor garden center!

I love this little store. There is always someone there to help you find what you need. Everyone is very friendly. Note: this is a mask-optional store, and most people are not wearing them, so if you get freaked out about that, then this might not be the place for you during the covid crisis

Helpful and friendly staff always greet you with a smile. Consistently a good trip when its to Ace you go! This time, grateful for their help in getting rid of ants, finding chewy sticks and cedar chips for my dogs, and a good supply of local honey.

Helpful, they have products not found in Home Depot or the Ace at Cape Canaveral.

Their selection of stainless hardware far surpasses any on the big box stores, Its well stocked, very well organized and they sell it by the piece or bulk. They also have a decent selection of Marine items and materials with good prices compared to some other Marine retailers. The staff has always been helpful and has the feel of a home-town hardware store.

Nice folks the lady at the register was very nice, friendly and helpful she was in fact everything they say they are in the television ads way to go ACE for living up to your promises. Great deals on things we needs at prices that beat the big box stores.

Prime example of why the smaller stores are going out of business to the box stores. I purchased a grinder from another Ace. Used it one time and the power switch fell off. JJ at the counter told me I could not return a warranty issue and exchange it because it was bought at another Ace even though it is clearly a defect from the manufacturer and the manufacturer would replace the product. Ace is usually known for its customer service to compete against the box stores but this shows a total lack of that.

They dont seem to stand by anything. They will sell you defective products and wont even talk about it when you try to return or exchange. They were very happy to supply directions to both home depot and Lowes. They said Home Depot is a mile down the road. You may benefit from that. And save slot of money also. As prices here are at the top of the scale!Good luck...

This store has been great for me. Every time that I have visited, there is always someone reaching out to me to make sure that I find exactly what I come in for. The staff are professional, friendly and really care for their customers. That is hard to find in most places these days. Thank you!

Got what I went for with decent service.

They did not have the pool salt we went in for, but they have a little bit of everything.

Not all Ace hardware stores are the same. My preferred Ace is Cape Canaveral, however passing by the Merritt Island one, I stopped here for my hardware needs and was disappointed. From the cashier seemingly wanting to be somewhere else and of the long line of people waiting to cash out and never asking if they had an Ace rewards number, a group of workers discussing ordering pizza for lunch while the store was full of customers, and in another isle two workers chatting amongst themselves. There was one young gentleman who was going around asking if anyone needed help, other than that, nothing like the 5 stars I had given Cape Canaverals Ace. The prices are higher than Home Depot, but I come to Ace for the customer service in which I can only give 2 stars to Merritt Island...maybe I caught them on a bad day but the experience was enough to ensure that I will not return.

Always a superb shopping experience here.

Love Ace Hardware. Was employed by Ace for many years. If you cant find it in big box stores youll find it at Ace. The store itself is a bit over crowded and could be cleaner.

As with all Ace Hardware locations, they have the hard to find bits that you need for all your home improvement needs. This is an older location and the rust on some of the hardware is unfortunate.The staff was also not wearing masks, which I find disconcerting.

Super helpful. Prices are sometimes competitive. Good place for chlorine.Unfortunately, this is also one of the few ACE stores that do not offer a veterans discount. Internet said they did. Not a big deal. Kinda embarrassing. I just assumed a store named after WW1 veterans, participated in Corporates optional policy.Im sure Ill go back. Only because despite Home Dep$t giving 10% off for veterans, I still am not fond of the big box stores.

The associates in the Merritt Island store are great. They always go out of there way to assist you in anyway possible. Great hardware store. Much better then the big box stores.

Found an LED replacement for florescent bulbs that eliminates the buzzing transformer. Used existing wiring instead of new sockets provided.One strip was as bright as two bulbs, with no heat.Price was $15 per pair versus $20 at the Depot.

Employees are helpful and try to do their best to recommend the right things for your project. They helped my fiance find the right bolts for out project without us even knowing its measurements. Highly recommend going here if your stuck and are looking for something you dont quite know about or dont even know what it is. Lol!

Since I walked in and was every employee job to follow Me around the store the whole time... I felt like a common criminal and was targeted because of a bias toward a young white male worthy of a bright blue potleaf hat lol. made me feel as if I was targeted the 2nd I entered the store. Im very upset at this interaction and I will never go back.

I prefer going to an Ace vice the big box stores because the staff (in my last three neighborhood stores) are always cheerful, knowledgeable and they approach you and ask what youre looking for - ahhh, not so here on Merritt Island.This store isnt my neighborhood store, but I have stopped here often when I needed to grab something quick for my boat, which is nearby. I have never been approached by a staff member as I wander the isles looking for an item, but oftentimes have found more than one hanging out at the key cutting area in the far back of the store talking aways with other employees.OK, maybe Ive just hit the place at the wrong time, but Im thinking its a trend. Theres a big box place right down the street, so Ill give Ace a couple of more tries to see if things improve ... if not, I wont return.
