My Daughter and I took a lyft to this location today . We instantly felt welcomed to shop. I spent over $100 on food and household supplies. I was very pleased. They do not allow you to take shopping carts outside so please be prepared; youre going to want to spend.

My first impression walking in was this place is dirty. Like nasty. Floors are unkempt, kids running through the isles with no masks (although) sign on the door advises to wear a mask. Kids (about 13 yo) were throwing things in the isles and no word from any of the employees. Isles have partial stock sitting around in the middle of the day around 3 pm, mop bucket sitting out but clearly never used bc the floors are so disgusting. One would think with the scare of the pandemic this place would wanna enforce or atleast clean up a bit to seem reputable or atleast concerned about their or anyone else’s health.

This is the closest Dollar General to me and I Would Rather drive to a further one. The staff is usually nice BUT everything is always in boxes at the end of the isle. Yes maybe “in stock” for everything, but that’s because they sit in boxes at the end of EACH isle. I asked the manager today when they plan on restocking the shelves and her answer was, “when the truck comes sometime this week”. So I cleared up my question by stating that there’s Tons of boxes needing to be unpacked and she just shrugged. I’m not always going to open boxes when I want something, It’s not a customer’s job to open them.

I was looking for a bat of toy bugs. They had it! Theyve got lots of old fashioned toys. Glow stars for ceilings, paddle balls, army men, good stuff!

I was there today and while l appreciate the offers and prices, the aisles are jammed making it impossible to go down specific aisles. I was in retail for 40 years and it is evident that you either need more staff or should extend hours for your employees . You are losing sales. I really like your male store manager

Its close enough for me to take my power wheelchair. You can count on food items to always be in stock, other items not so much. Was surprised to see they carry my brand of hair products, saving $3 per product! You literally have to go up and down every aisle to find hidden gems you wouldnt expect them to carry.

The store had what I was looking for. I did not appreciate the employee Roberts attitude at all. He seemed very condescending. However, Asia was the highlight of my day. I appreciated her customer service a lot.

Cant really complain here, they met my expectations.

This place is okay some times but not always. Reason why is there prices can be higher then other stores. The name brand items are high in price. The other unknown brands are cheaper to buy, but dont do the job as well. Plus the store on mesa drive and Brown is always cluttered with boxs of merchandise that havent been put away its hard to shop around all them boxs. Please Dollar General clear the way for your customers.

Dont expect cooler to be stocked. Thats rare. So their deals on beer is all warm. But the price beats all other stores. Its great that a store that only has a few locations, can have significantly lower prices than all these chains

I was the the Brown location on Friday July 10 around 6:30 pm. No enforcement of the Mesa mask requirement. Customers shopping and hanging out near the checkout without masks. Great place to visit if you want to be virtually guaranteed exposure to Covid-19.

Low prices. Good selection of things to choose from. A cheaper version of family Dollar. I have yet to find a store that was clean and well organized. Always looks like they just got robbed but I guess the higher up dont care as long as people keep shopping.

Usually I can find and get everything I needed but they had carts too be stocked blocking petty much every isle even blocking walkways completely while shelves were empty and moved around I had hard time finding certain items or I couldnt locate it love this store but lately the shopping experiences havent even been ok at all but with the covid bs an xmas next month I am hopeful that by January things will become as normal as possible

Good prices, not as good as dollar tree but good prices. The sorting is AWFUL, who ever is sorting the items is doing a lazy job. Everything is crammed in there but it is Dollar General so i cannot expect to much. Dollar Tree for sure is better than Dollar General though.

The store was average and the customer service was also average. They dont exactly answer your questions unless they feel like helping you.

I enjoyed going to my local Dollar General. Whenever Im in a hurry and there is some quick items that I need to find coming here is a lot more convenient than going to a grocery store. And the savings are phenomenal.

Dollar!? I swear everything there is more then 5 dollars, it is not in general for a dollar judt randomly, but they do have some quality items to buy so I give a 3 star for that.

Its a great location Cashiers are alright I think customer service is very important so in my opinion the location I go to theres a couple of people that work at that location that could really really use a lesson in customer service to be honest with you if I was there boss I would have written them up because you have to have good customer service you cant go to work in a bad mood and show it to the people that youre waiting on I know I was a manager so I know my customer service was 150% and it showed I have people that personally asked for me when they came to my coffee bar okay personally ask for me thats how good I was at my job my customer service was outstanding how I know this the customer told me they wrote in to Starbucks about me thats how good I am so customer service is number one

The aisle are really narrow with stuff piled on top of the shelves. Felt like it was gonna come tumbling down. Holiday aisles were a mess at 10am.I can only imagine what the warehouse looks like in this store.They need to get someone in there that cares and will get helpers in there to clean it up. How is their theft in that store?

They have great customer service, the times Ive been there the cashier or manager have offered and taken my bags to my car, most places you have to ask for assistance. Then again very respectful. This is a community store, has all sorts of household cleaning, cooking, clothes like tops, pants, shirts, shoes, undergarments, socks, foods, pet food, no fresh veggies, well almost like a 99cent store and a little Walmart.I just love it. Youll be glad you checked it out, you will go back.!!!

DO NOT EVER SHOP OR WORK HERE! THEY TREAT THEIR EMPLOYESS LIKE DIRT!My partner suffered a back injury on the job. He didnt want to make a big deal of it, so we went and got it treated out of our own pockets. The doctor diagnosed him with a severe muscle spasm, prescribed a pain killer, and said he needed to take a minimum of two days off work. Dollar general corporate called and said that the doctors letter was not good enough, that he needed to go to a doctor sanctioned by them, and see what they had to say. After putting him through four excruciatingly painful radiographs, that doctor diagnosed him with a lumbar sprain and cleared him for work, but with the restrictions that he can not stand for more than 3 hours a day. My partner cannot move without being in pain, didnt want to file workmans comp or anything, cause any trouble. He just wanted to get better and return to work. But no, that wasnt good enough for this insane company, they just wanted their body back in the store. He has been a dedicated employee for over 3 years, never had any issues, and THIS is how hes repayed?! Its absolutely unacceptable.

What a mess. This place was unorganized and things placed in wrong area. I paid 2 buck more for the 1 item I bought because it was hung on the wring rack (with at least a dozen more of its mates). There was someone. Trying to put out new merchandise but the place really needed to be tended to first. It looked like a bunch of 3 year olds were let loose on the store
