After a very disappointing visit to another shoe store specific to orthotics solutions, I came here to find a supportive and well crafted shoe. I was able to walk away with a pair of tennis shoes and sandals and was treated with kindness, some good jokes, and a sales associate who clearly loves his job and helping people feel great about their feet comfort. I will definitely be back in the future!

My feet have changed over the last couple of years and Joe took the time to have me try several different sizes to make sure I had the best fit. Always a pleasure to deal with.

I have been buying my shoes here for about 15 years, I have always had great service. Joe always gives me a call to let me know when they are having a sale as I purchase at least 2-3 pairs of Brooks every year. I have and will continue to recommend.

Cozy parking and comfy shoes

I was totally blown away today. I called just to make sure they were open due to COVID-19. They were open! Joe informed me that they moved recently, which I was grateful. Didnt want to drive farther than I needed to. When I pulled up. Joe already knew who I was and pulled shoes from previous orders I have purchased. Asked me which ones I needed. Totally impressed Joe! I would have driven to New Mexico Joe......just to get my Bierkenstocks from you! Thank you for your efficiency!THANK YOU! 👍👍👍👍👍

I have the hardest time getting the correct compression stockings in a timely manner. My doctor will send over a specific prescription, and Ill both call and fax to confirm an exact brand/style/color/size/quantity is ordered, but they still order the wrong kind or quantity. That is if they even order it, on several occasions Ive called in for a refill and a month later am accused of never having reordered. Ill call again the day before my appointment to make sure they have what I need and they always say yes, but when I arrive at my appointment they have the wrong product or quantity every time. Theyve even claimed, after confirming receipt of my prescription, that they never got a prescription for me, only to mysteriously find it again and further delay things. This last time in a single call they claimed the doctor didnt put what brand or type, only seconds later to tell me it is in fact written on the order. The new division of Hanger Clinic with AZ Walk Shop has made it even worse. I have to wear worn out compression far too long because of their constant delays and mistakes. Its very frustrating, but theyre the only place my insurance covers 100%. The only positive is they gave me a free additional product for the inconvenience.

Extremely rude. They make it extremely difficult to get shoes by prescription. I took prescription in and they did not want to get records from the doctor. The woman said that it is too much work to fax the request for doctor notes and that since they did not see the doctor the doctor will refuse to send the notes. I assured her that the doctor had told us she will send notes requested by them. I also told her that their other store requested the doctors notes before and didnt have any problems receiving them. She made an angry face saying she does not guarantee they will receive info from doctor. Are they in the business of seeking shoes or not?

The best place in town to find high quality shoes for work and any other foot issues. They have many different options and the staff there was super experienced and knowledgeable about how to find the best fit for each product

My husband and I both got shoes and insoles, that we didnt really need. We bought my shoes, Brooks in December just before Christmas and I already have holes in the toes. I work in the sand at school and always having to dump sand from my shoes because of the holes. These are not cheap shoes and in 2 months having holes in the toe area, give me a break. Oh yes we will be going there on Saturday to see the guy from brooks.. better get another pair FREE... or some money back. Wont buy any more shoes there... to expensive and they talk you into things you dont have to have ......

Paid $200 for work shoes. Wore them 2 times,they hurt my toes and they would not take them back because I wore them outside, I told the man I bought them from they were for work. He never told me not to wear them outside. I am going to get custom fit shoes, but; not from AZ Walk Shop! Shame on you for misleading me.

I went to this store in hopes that I might get lucky and find some shoes that I could wear that didnt hurt my feet, salesman Joe payzant was extremely helpful and kind. He knew just what i was looking for and even showed me additional insoles that I could get to help support my high arch. The minute I stood in those shoes, my foot pain diminished, my feet have never felt so good! I highly recommend this place if you have issues with your feet or require orthotics or special shoes. I will definately go back to this store!!

VERY DISAPPOINTED! DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE BACK AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Took my elderly mother in law to have foot eval for her issue with her left foot. Nothing is terribly wrong with her foot except her big toe tends to stick up and rub against the inside of her shoe causing her pain and discomfort. The young man who was assisting us did not have a clue nor cared to help find a shoe that would work for her. Obviously the young man was there because he had to be. I asked about diabetic shoes for her since they have a larger toe box. He just brought out shoes that were as close to the ones she was wearing. Did not bring out any of the diabetic style of shoes. A couple of tennis style and a pair of sandals after I asked if he had other options. Very clear he was not interested nor cared to be there let alone help someone find answers to a better fitting shoe. He also was a poor representative for the store and products. Had on a pair of cheap slip on sandals with socks, and very casually dressed. actually out of all the employees we saw only one older gentleman who appeared to care about his appearance and attitude towards the customers. :(

For the past 2+ months Ive been shopping around for work shoes to fit my Hanger orthotics. I bring them home, wear them, covered, around house and ultimately return them. Frustrated, I recently returned to the Orthotist at Hanger for consultation. Initially, he referred me to AZ Walk Shop to purchase New Balance 900 Series Walking Shoe. I preferred to shop locally rather than go to Mesa. Needless to say, a total waste of time, foot pain and aggravation on my part.Today. I ventured over to Mesa, with my orthotics, to be fitted for work shoes. When I walked in, a salesman, Jake, greeted me, listened to my concerns, measured my feet and the orthotics for the proper size. He brought out 2 pair of New Balance shoes & put in the orthotics. The shoes were quite comfortabe & fit perfectly. I needed black shoes for work and these were white. Jake offered to order me black shoes for home delivery. The wait time would be about 2 weeks or so. Theres no guarantee they would fit & I wanted to avoid returns etc.My experience today was surprisingly quick and simple thanks to a very knowledgeable and personable young man named Jake.Thank you for your assistance!

I developed plantar Fasciitis and went in looking for any relief. Joe greeted me and asked about my reason for being there and had me try on birkenstocks. The relief was immediate. He also showed me a pair of inserts that I could use in the shoes I already own. He was really nice and very knowledgeable about all the products and brands. The pain relief was amazing so I went back a few weeks later and got another pair. I would highly recommend visiting this store if you have any kind of foot pain.

The shop was so uncomfortable inside and they dont sell shoes that are listed on the windows. I drove 20 miles only to hear from a rude guy that they dont carry those but they have them on the window. DONT shop with them. do as they tell--but also complain about--and buy online from amazon.

I walked into this shoe store today and I was the only customer in there. There was 2 employees behind the counter and what looked to be a shoe representative with her roll a way bag. They were in a LOUD conversation with the rep speaking angerily and forceful voice and kept repeating So you dont think he can sell 2 pairs of shoes per day and she kept getting louder, still no one has created me or asked me if I needed help. So I looked around the while store and on my way walking outbthe lady behind the counter says to me did you need some help. I said yes I am looking for Allegria shoes and she said we dont carry that brand. So I said to her that online you have it listed that you sell Allegria brand and she said I know that and wish they would take that off there. She didnt even try to be nice to me and ask me if she could show me another comfortable shoe or say sorry about that, or something, so unfriendly and so in professional. I would be fired if I acted that way while i was at work. So I went to Dillards and was treated the total oposite, the Dillards employee brought me 10 pairs of shoes to try on even though I only asked to try on the one style, thought that was going over the top, she wanted me to leave with the perfect comfortable shoe so she asked me to try on differ styles and brands. The Dillards employee went over the top! Thank goodness for the perfect shoe since I am a nurse (RN) and am on my feet all day.

Ive gotten diabetic shoes from the walk shop for 9 years until thisyear.A terrible experience! After almost 3 months of qualifying submission ofall required paperwork, they kept requiring more authorization, never responding to my phone calls(Olivia) and insisting only the primary caredoctor could sign the required notes.Nordians rules say the examining physican(a nurse practioner employed by the doctor suffices. Result: no return call or approval. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THE FUTURE!!

Ive been going to Arizona Walk Shop for years! I have problems with my feet and the Walk Shop has always been able to fit me with shoes that feel good. Joe has been my sales person the most often and hes super!

Roger was a very patient and willing salesman. I came in with a tall order of the type of shoe I was looking for. Wedge, sandal, dressy/not frumpy, comfy to walk on hot pavement in summer. He led me to the exact brand (Helle) and suggested several styles. I must have tried on 12 pairs of shoes before I decided on two that might work. Ordered one pair, and took another pair home. Cant wait to go back in the fall for clogs and mary janes.

Worst customer service ever! They are not knowledgeable about birkenstocks at all and they are only trying to make a sale. Very rude!
