Went there to look at a 2015 ram 3500 lone star a month ago, sales manger was friendly at first . As we began to do numbers he said my registration would be quick … well I live in Rhode Island and our dmv isn’t the same anymore . I stressed the registration part over and over armin said no worries it will take less then a week to transfer my plates yes transfer. Week one went by oh we fogot to have you sign paperwork, one week wasted . Every week they had an excuse to why I don’t have my truck . My main sales guy Tyler was great he helped as much as he could . Fast forward to after Labor Day mind you I purchased the truck august 11th, now at this point my truck is registered sitting on their lot, I print out my registration since they were still waiting on the outside company to send it . They still made excuses why not to release my truck . Finally Friday the 10th Tyler called and said he’s dropping my truck off and it’s all clean from their detail department. Ok drive it home, next day check engine light comes on I have a ram dealer that’s local run it while it’s there for inspection oh it’s a n0x sensor and cost is $400 . Now at this point I can’t can’t my newly to me truck inspected due to a check engine light that this dealership turned off prior to delivery. My 30 days is up with then even though they said no warranty. The detail part of the truck well that’s just as bad as the sales team, had a smell like wet dog food, while cleaning it this weekend I uncovered a mouse nest under the dash pulled out a pound or so of napkins and what not, chips under the rug . All this time wasted for a truck that I need to dump money into and pay to have it detailed so I don’t get sick … hopefully the dealer will be nice and pay for both the sensor and a detail….

Have another service appt Friday 11/5. keep up the great work.-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*Second rating 2 stars.. service appointment at 11am (told they running little late) 12.30pm im told truck just about donefinishing tire rotation, they will wash truck for me too.. said ok what else can I say.. 1.o5pm finally told truck just finished, so you assume it would be at the door.. nope parked out in neverland.. and now to boot Im driving to work at 9pm and light comes on for low tire pressure in both back tires?!? You just rotated the tires and didnt check the air in them? How? Very disappointed hopefully when Im out of work in the morning they arent even lower..

This review is actually two experiences, one from the sales department, other from service.I came in to buy a Jeep Wrangler in 2019. The salesman I had was a young veteran and was very friendly and easy to work with. We discussed numbers and agreed on a price that I thought was very reasonable and was pretty close to the price numbers that were listed on their website. They let me drive the Jeep for the day and I loved it.Came back in two days later for the sale and sat down with the manager (or whoever). He then wrote down a price that was $3k over the price I agreed on (not including taxes, etc.) I was scratching my head at first… then I brought it up. They stated that the online prices are marked down by $2k!!! I thought this was shady as F. After I had already settled on a sale price, and I told him I was not giving $3000 more. He became very defensive and rude, stating that “ it may be shady, all the dealerships do it.” He started to become more abrasive, and at this point, I was all set. His rudeness and the sketchy price listings online put a very bad taste in my mouth. Went to another jeep dealership two days later and got myself a jeep wrangler!More recently, I was having issues with my heating system, so I brought it into the service department since they are right down the street. I told them exactly what the issue was and what needed to be replaced. From my research, it was clear that this could be done in 45 minutes, an hour tops.I live fairly close by, so I went home and waited for them to call me back in.I waited six hours… after it was finally ready, I went down to pick it up. They hit me with four hours of service charge at $127 an hour, plus parts! Ended up being close to $650! By the time I saw the price, I was out of the service area, so I couldn’t even ask why the heck it took so long to fix (it’s truly an easy fix, I just lack the tools). Absolute rip off.Needless to say, I will not be returning to this place, for service or my next jeep. Buyer beware!

I had to get my car serviced because it was making a ticking noise. Apparently dodge is familiar with this problem. It was dirt caked on the rotors. The service to get my car in there was bar none the best I hope Im spelling her name right but Taylor was amazing. I feel like she went above and beyond to get me a loaner car so they can check my car thoroughly. I appreciate service like this.

Jim and Keith were extremely helpful in fulfilling my Service Appointment. Initially had an appointment for 1 PM, which Jim explained they may not be able to get me in before that time (we arrived at 12:30), which was fine! We took seats in the comfortable waiting area and before we know it, the service was done. We were out of there by 1:30, exactly an hour after we arrived.I’ve had service done at other dealerships in the past and found myself waiting for hours at times, Dan O’Brien CDJR definitely doesn’t do that!!!

The service I got when purchasing my vehicle at Dan OBrien Methuen was nothing short of amazing, from beginning to end. Kenny, Shad and Anthony were helpful, personable, knowledgeable, and not pushy AT ALL. They kept it real, which I appreciate, and went above and beyond really listening to what it was I wanted, right down to the color and extras. I test drove a few because I wasnt sure exactly which build I wanted, and Shad was more than patient with test driving a few with me. Kenneth was amazing at explaining numbers and everything with the contract. Anthony was patient, helpful and attentive when it came down to signing the paperwork and getting the last minute details down. Would 100% recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase or lease. I definitely plan on returning to them in the future when needed as well.Ps: their inventory is impressive! Before going to this specific dealership I read reviews. From the reviews I was reading I was getting some good and some bad reviews. We always complain about the bad things in life, well I want to say my experience with Dan OBrien in Methuen Mass was absolutely perfect. Luigi was awesome, Cynthia Donahue was awesome even the finance guy Derek was awesome. After completing my purchase I cant see how anyones experience at this dealership isnt perfect. I purchased a 2020 grand cherekee yesterday and was so pleased with the service. Our sales representative was Devon He was awesome. He was also being mentored by Brian and both were so kind and nice to us We then went to financing and spoke with Anthony. He was also very informative and attentive to us. We are really pleased with all 3 of them. They truly made this experience very good. We also told them we had to pick up our new vehicle on Monday and they started getting it ready so we could pick it up pretty quickly. We would recommend all 3 of them

I had a check engine light come on. They charge $180 to test the gas cap! They are what gives dealership service a bad reputation!Not buying your response. You plug in the diagnostic scanner, get a quick code and knew in 30 seconds that a leak was present. 15 minutes start to finish. Should be a $45 bill max. Or if you valued me a customer that spent $38k on a car and wanted me back you have done it for free as Customer Service, Should I go into how many calls I got from your sales team harassing to buy a new car. Like calling at work to see what I qualified for. Like I need your help to buy a car.You deserve a bad bad review. Your whole team worked hard for that honor.

Honestly my sales guy Ben was cool. But after just a couple weeks I needed spark plugs and coils done. I also had to replace the flex pipe and praying the transmission holds on. If i could do it over I would not have purchased my vehicle here. I was used to cars and wanted to change to an SUV. I should have just stuck with my normal dealer. Service department is terrible.

Only reason I am giving two stars is because of Phil (Financing Manager) He was soo nice and explained everything I was signing. He is also very good at distracting toddlers if you tend to be with them the day of signing. Other than that, I had a terrible experience. Especially with the Jamie who somehow happens to be the General Sales Manager. One of the most unprofessional people I have met.

I am giving this dealership 1 star and will review based on sales and service department as I have had experience with them both.Sales was great. I worked with Rafie initially to get a 21 Dodge Challenger and he was very patient and helpful. I was trading in my car as well. After hours of deliberation, Amid and Jim worked with me to get my payments and my trade in value where I wanted them to be. The trade in value for my car was very generous. I was happy with the sales team and department overall. Phil from finance was excellent- no pressure to get any extended warranty and he was fast.The service department is absolutely horrible. My brand new car I just bought from them had issues with vibration during the test drive that the dealer said they would fix no problem so I took their word for it. After a week I picked up my new car and after a few days of driving it, the vibration came back. I checked my tire pressure and the PSI was all different and way overinflated. The service department never put in correct tire pressure before I took delivery of vehicle which is very dangerous.I brought the car back to get the vibration looked at and after 2 hours the service department said that one of the tires was defective and refused to fix it. After speaking to Mopar Corporation, the dealer agreed to fix it only after they were pressured from Dodge. After this mistrust, I took my car to another Dodge dealership and they solved the problem in a weekend and also topped off all my fluids which were low. This service department refused to do warranty work and has lost my trust completely. I have 3 free oil changes with them, but will be going to another dealership for those. Go to another Dodge dealership and save yourself the trouble.

They sold my mother a car last year and failed to tell her that the car had been in an accident.... We only found out because we went to trade it in for a Jeep at the Methuen Dan OBrien and that the sales men was supposed to tell us at the time of purchase which you never did.

With a couple of changes in dealer ownership, this was the first time I had service done at Dan O’Brien. I had set up an appointment and when I arrived the Service Advisor Christopher welcomed me and took care of the paperwork. I needed a ride back home, Christopher looked to see if the shuttle driver was available and when he could not locate that person, he offered to drive me himself. Christopher called as soon as the tech had looked at the car and prepared the estimate. I gave the go ahead and the car was ready within a couple of hours. Christopher greeted me when I returned to pick up the car, processed the paper work, showed me to the cashier booth and located a cashier to take my payment. Christopher made the whole experience a good one. In addition, I was a little concerned that the repair which involved taking a seat apart to replace a capable might cause some damage to the six year old seats. I was happy to see that the service tech was experienced enough to avoid any damage to the seat covering. The seat looked the same as when I brought the car in. All in all, it was a good experience.

I had an appointment yesterday at noon and am so excited to now be the owner of a 2020 Jeep Renegade. Everything was easy, right from the second I walked through the door. Ben was my salesman and he did a great job, not putting any pressure on me and was able to answer any questions I had. I never thought I would be able to leave the dealership in the same day with my new car but everyone here that helped me made that possible. Shawn in financing was also great and found me the best rate and there was no rush, which made me feel way more comfortable and relaxed. Had my car less than 2 months won’t repair or work with me to make all the repairs that is needed to drive safely. Brakes drink and back, 4 tires, ball bearings and all fluids are extremely low. I don’t even think they checked the car before I bought it. Never buy a vehicle or truck from these scammers.

My husband was considering purchasing a brand new Jeep Gladiator, and was going to give his business to the dealership I had just purchased my vehicle from, but their shoddy customer service turned him off, and so he went here and had a wonderful experience! They were relatively easy to work with, and their customer service is as it should be. Everyone goes out of their way to greet him and be extremely accommodating. I went to Buy a 2018 compass. I was told over the phone it was still available. Got there and it was gone. So I looked at a 2019 instead.The various sales team would ask me numerous times about putting money down. After the 3 time of explaining I don’t want to put any money down I left. The sales manager, Jamie tried to defused the situation by meeting me at my car as I was about to leave and not come back. I explained the poor customer service and he came back with a better offer. I accepted the offer. I came back with a check for the full payment from my bank. After I finished the paperwork with Jamie and gave them my check I went to my car to get my things. I waited for 20 minutes and no one came. I then went back inside to find no one that helped me before was around. A taller gentleman approached me and I explained the situation and asked for a screwdriver to take off my plates and transfer my items to my new car. Finally after much time had passed, Fascial, my salesman came out and transferred the plates so I can go. He was even surprised that it wasn’t taken care of. That was Wednesday. It is now Friday and my insurance company hasn’t received any paperwork from them to register my car. I guess once they get their money you are no longer important. Very disappointed in the whole experience and will not buy another car from them. I was also owed an oil change and that wasn’t done. The best was getting into a new car with almost no gas. I had to put gas into it to drive it home. At least fill the tank with gas. Buyer beware.Shawn Lamphier

As usual, Justin in the service department has made my experience at Dan O’Brien as easy as possible!I called regarding an issue I had with my 2018 Jeep and he was able to get my Jeep into the service schedule for the next business day.They then found the issue and repaired it and informed me that it was all covered under my warranty. The best part was that when I went to pick up my Jeep, it had been washed as well!Again, great job from Justin & team in the service department.

Had a very good service experience at Dan OBrien Jeep/Chrysler in Methuen, Mass this past Tuesday. As soon as I walked into the service department Jim Anderson greeted me in a friendly manner. It took only 3 minutes to sign in and the work on my vehicle began. Jim let me know that I needed a new cabin filter and after I gave the go ahead, the work was completed in less than 20 minutes. Recently came into Dan OBriens CDJR looking for a truck or SUV as my fiance and I needed a bigger vehicle than the sports sedan we had. Before coming into the dealer, I had spoken with the salesman Anthony and made an appointment to come in. Throughout the process, Anthony was very tentative and very customer service oriented. I ended up purchasing a 2018 Grand Cherokee Limited which I fell in love with. The dealer made the process easy and efficient as far as vehicle sales go. I did have a minor snag as I discovered a repair that was needed days after the car was picked up, however, Steven Duff had the repair covered under Goodwill Assistance and no out of pocket money needed to be exchanged which was great. Overall this is my first purchase with Dan OBrien, it is unlikely that it is my last, I will return to Dans dealer someday when I purchase a RAM for the family down the road. Overall, if you want an honest and great experience, from someone who works for a fleet leasing company, this is the dealer you want to visit.

The car buying experience itself was very easy and smoothe. We went there knowing which vehicle we wanted and how much we were looking to pay. The sales department was very friendly and willing to help, Anthony and Armid were very easy going and pretty straight forward. However after not even leaving the lot 24 hours after purchasing the vehicle we had an issue with it and the service department was terrible to work with, wouldnt give a rental vehicle in the mean time and their customer service was awful to the point if it was not covered under warranty I would not go back there for service.

Worst place I’ve ever been too in my life!! When I first walked in I received no service, no welcoming, absolutely nothing, not even a hello, so long story short I found someone to help assist me took him about 20/30 min to attend me mind you there was no customers there and, then to top it off I was at their place from 10AM til closing and all the salesman cared about was hitting their quota instead of proper customer service. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there good or bad credit!

Very unprofessional and out right liars. Make an appointment to test drive a specific used vehicle from their website. Verbally confirmed with Them and rush home from work drive to location just to be told the vehicle was not at location and wasn’t never planned on being there. Was told on arrival only vehicles under contract are available to test drive ? Why would anyone want to put under contract without seeing or driving a vehicle? Was told just go shop the lot, the girl who scheduled appointment was new. This that and the other thing. I have financing for a specific amount, how can shop the lot with no pricing information or specific details on what they have.Please is a joke. Would not recommend to My enemies

What a great place! We had Cory for our Sales Associate and were very pleased with the service we received. These people go out of their way to provide excellent customer service! I purchased a used vehicle from them. Cory helped me program my phone and even sat with me to help me understand how my VW Tiguan’s options worked. He made sure I was fully comfortable before I drove away and asked me to call him if I had any questions. You get such value here with programs they offer you! He’s great and honest, ask for Cory !

Awesome experience all the way around. Peter was very professional over the phone and they worked with me to get a great deal on my Jeep. Once I came in I had the pleasure of working with Dave and Phil on the sales floor. Derek in finance was a pleasure to work with and had everything ready to go when I came back to sign. He was very knowledgeable and was sure to explain every question I had on the contracts.Phil went out of his way to make sure everything I needed was taken care of, he even delivered the vehicle to my sons ice rink which was extremely convenient for me. Since I am a New Hampshire resident he personally called their Kia dealership to set up and appointment to get an inspection sticker and to make sure they took care of me. Both Phil and Dave have checked in with me to see how everything was going with the car after the sale. This was my first vehicle purchased with Dan OBrien as I regularly shopped at a competitor. Phils exact words were Give me a chance to earn your business which I did and he has earned a customer for life by showing me VIP treatment. He is definitely an asset to the company with his professionalism and quality customer service. I will be back for certain.

While my salesman was good the service since has not been. When you buy a truck and discover there is not antenna and then bring it back to get one and are told we ordered one when the truck came in and it is on back order. I ask two questions. Why was that not told to me when I purchased it and why did you tell me to bring it in only to tell me it is on back order? I think it was not ordered until I brought it in. Now I have to make yet another trip in. Hard to believe a common item like that is not available. And silly me thinking that when you pay thousands of dollars for a truck that it does not come with floor mats!! So right now I am not real happy!

Didn’t expect the “bait and switch “ from this dealer!!! Called on a vehicle, Nate sent me the window sticker, Made an appointment for the next morning at 9 with Ben. Pete called me in the morning to make sure I was coming. Got there snd met with (I think) Ryan. At that point he went to get the vehicle only to come back and say they didn’t have it. Tried to push another vehicle that looked like it just went through a mud race. 3 people had the opportunity to let me know the vehicle didn’t exist there. All liars Won’t go there again!!Keep it awesome Dan O’Brien!!!
