Nothing but positives to say, they were very helpful getting set up with a storage unit. The location is easily accessible and protected, would recommend. Affordable as well

Originally gave this place 5 stars but now I give them 2. And that’s because I’m happy I was able to reach a human at customer service. Received slight rate increases which is normal and to be expected. Yesterday, I receive a tiny post card that says my rate is going from $83 to $156!! Ummm what???? I called customer service thinking it’s a mistake but nope, my rate is almost doubling to go along with current “market value”. Sounds like an excuse to rip customers off. We will be removing our stuff before 12/1.

Overall renting process was very easy. The team in renting office was very supportive, special mention of Alorda who made it so smooth. They kept my selected unit reserved for few days which helped me a lot with the planning. Access to store is easy and very nearby so moving the stuff is easy now. I would highly recommend the extra space storage services.

The space I rented was clean when I started, they even provided a lock and key! It was always easy to get in and out, carts were always available to move things and everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful, you cannot ask for more.

So I did my rental online which was super easy, self-explanatory, and quick to do. I like all the options that we were given and they make sure that if you were doing it online all your questions are answered. The customer service is exquisite, got a call the day after I booked my rental and they answered every question and she was very nice and patient. Great experience and would definitely recommend to others.

Up until 2019, I was a customer at Extra Space Storage. Now I will rent again and I would not consider going anyplace else. I rent out a unit here and the place is very secure. My unit is really easy to access and I definitely feel like my stuff is safe here. They do a great job keeping it clean. Payments are easy as well.

Had to downsize and had too many things! We’re able to get a small unit at first and then upgrade to a larger unit with no hassle and very reasonable rates. All are kind and helpful at the facility and eager to make the storage experience easy, even during this stressful pandemic. Clean and sanitary. Definitely recommend this facility!

The Metuchen Extra Space storage has great customer service! When we visited to see the unit we reserved over the phone, the office manager went out of her way to show us our unit and explain everything to us. Very happy with our experience.

I rented a unit for about 8 months. Facility is always clean, customer service good. Really had no issues. Nice place for extra storage.I recently moved and was going to cancel but they do audits so they called to make sure everything was okay. Which was reassuring!

This is the second time we have stored things at this facility. They are kind and helpful and understand your needs.Place is well lit and clean. They dont try to give you a storage place that is too large just to have you pay extra. Definitely recommend using this facility.

Richard was extremely friendly and personable throughout the entire process when leasing the unit. He explained clearly the two different pricing options and which would be best based on how long we were looking to lease for. The 2nd month free, even with the required insurance coverage cost and one time administration fee still was a better value per month than other local storage places I could find. Recommend this location to anyone looking for monthly storage, especially if it’s for a short period of time!

Alorda the store manager is amazing, she’s extremely courteous and helped us choose what best suited us. Due to Covid travel bans I couldn’t return as planned and Extra Space slightly accommodated my price. The installations are clean, easy to navigate.

Very clean and well kept facility. The staff are friendly and helpful. I manage a unit for my company and get packages sent often. If I cant make it quickly, the staff delivers my packages directly to my unit. When UPS mistakenly delivers my packages to the wrong unit, the Extra Space Storage staff are quick to contact the other units renter to retrieve my packages.

I rented a 10x15 climate control space for 9yrs and never once had a issue with access of the facility. Good, clean location

I have been renting a storage space for years. The facility is clean and well lit. I feel that my belongings are secure. The office staff patrols the premises and there are security cameras throughout.

I am moving internationally and needed to find a place that I felt comfortable with leaving my things. Shinju was extremely helpful and his manager, apologies I’ve forgotten her name, was also EXTREMELY supportive in helping me find the best unit for my things.Best service out of all the places I’ve been to as I plan this move. The movers moved my things in without any issues and the place is clean and well-maintained.
