Storage Sense - MetuchenThis is a great location, very safe and secure with excellent customer service. Want to give a shout out to the property manager, who is very kind and helpful, Leonardo Rios. I would definitely recommend renting space here as I think its much superior to other facilities.

When i was looking for a storage facility for my things there were a lot to choose from. The price of Storage Sense was the best for the 10x10 regular storage unit. But i was looking for one with climate control and when i looked at the other storage places, their prices went up much more than Storage Sense. Storage Sense price remained about the same.They have excellent customer service. I always have a lot of questions and no matter what it is they seem to always have an answer for me. I truly appreciate their professionalism. Thank you keeping my things safe.

They were quick to respond to my request for info on availability and pricing. Facility is clean, well lit and fire extinguishers in the green. Paperwork was easy to complete and lock purchased over the phone was left in the unit for us so that we could begin using it immediately. Would feel confident recommending their facility.

Kaitlin the manager is very friendly and helpful. She was able to provide suggestions for my storage concerns that worked out better for me efficiently and financially. The facility and the units are quite clean and fairly new. I’m very satisfied with this facility and look forward to a long-term situation here!

The storage facilities are very neat and clean. The gentleman that helped me was super friendly. He showed me the unit first, went over everything, and was not pushy. I like that the place is located in a quiet area.

Has an elevator access to most of the storage units others have street access There are trolleys that helps you carry your stuff so never an ease away But would have loved access to after office hours restrooms and drinking water and if possible wifi in facility There are electric plug points for easy charge within the facility Restroom, drinking water lolipops, confort seating, packing material and locks, and references for movers and packers in the office that is open from 9 a.m to 4:59 p.m EST in Metuchen Staff at Receiption was respectable on the first day.... and in every interaction... Do not wish to compare my experince with another storahe facilitys staff .... but the staff here can be added to the respectable towards customer category... Wont say it for all customer service agents I have ever met elsewhere in different parts of life .... Prices are competive in the neighbourhood and the accesa to the neighbourhood is safe location Little away from train station or public transport a 6 to 25 minute walk... 18 -21 minute to nearest post office The road ends in a cul-de-sac and there is only one exit to the town .... Library, Police Station, Fire Station, Metuchen Down town is 26 minutes walkLocation Manager AJ was of great help after being their customer ...

I have been a tenant there since the when the storage facility was brand new and have always found the prices fair, the area around the units well kept and the response of the property manager Kaitlin LaCosta above what I expected. As a realtor, I have no problem recommending this facility over any other to my clients. More than a 5 star service. This facility really appreciates my business.

This storage facility is a very convenient location in Metuchen. We recently moved our stuff in a big unit and it was a very easy process of with them. AJ is fantastic to work with. Drive up in this location is very easily accessible for even big containers. Highly recommend based upon initial few days.

Aj gives awesome customer services he is very nice and helpful

I usually dont write reviews but I felt this experience was worth it. AJ greeted me with a welcoming smile when I entered into the beautiful reception area. He was extremely helpful as he walked me to my unit and helped me understand the process of entering through the gate. He even brought me a cart so that I could bring my boxes to my unit. It was a great experience worth writing about. Thank you it was a pleasure and I would recommend storing your belongings here.

I would recommend this storage place to everyone. AJ made it so easy to rent a unit and I needed more space he made it easy for me to move to another unit!!!

These folks are absolutely the best! Their rates were very attractive, the unit was clean, and they are very easy to work with. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. I could not be happier. This is the place to use for self storage. They even have a loaner truck!

Good price, excellent access 24/7, they have a moving van you can use for moving in the stuff. Friendly staff that is there to assist and all general materials for moving, packing and storage available for sale at the front office. You cant go wrong using their service.I used them for about 6 months with absolutely no issues.

I dont normally write reviews. However, I sold my house and needed storage and the staff at Metuchen Self Storage have been really helpful ! I have been extremely stressed and they walked me thru the process even gave me a free truck to use to move in! The place is clean and I feel safe! I would recommend storing your stuff here!

They are absolutely the best and very professional.Great price too but they just got purchased by a big national company so things could change.I am adding to this review originally from 15 months ago because new ownership has changed them for the worse. My unit rent has been raised by 30 percent, and there are potholes in the complex that are so large I drive around them. The one biggest pothole hasnt been fixed in at least 6 months.The new ownership (a midwestern investment group) has changed this from the best owner operated quality and value type of establishment to the worst example of investor greed where you, the customer, are nothing but a number with a dollar sign in front of it.

I came in a few weeks ago to look into a storage unit as I am moving my parents in to a smaller place, so I need somewhere to store their belongings. I had an awesome experience I was greeted by Aj when I first walked in the office, it was surprisingly clean not what I expected. The office was very nicely decorated I loved his succulent plants on the desk. Aj was extremely helpful I am one of those annoying customers that likes to ask a million questions but he answered all my questions before I could even ask. The grounds were well kept and clean and they sell all the stuff you would need including locks. Please check this place out if you ever need a unit to store stuff in.

I have been with Storage Sense, formerly two different companies, since December 2013. Since Storage Sense has taken over, without warning in late 2018, my rental rates have increase four times in less than twelve months without any notification. My rent was $164.67 on 08/01/2018, then $177.47 on 10/26/2018, then $178.01 on 12/01/2018, and now $180.13 as of 05/01/2019 for a 10x10 interior, non-drive-up, non-temp controlled unit. A 10x10 new unit on their web site is $141.00. Be warned that if you rent here you will end up like me, or like the other renters - with ever increasing rental cost, with nothing to show for it. Visitors, make sure your auto insurance covers pothole damage as they have several massive potholes in their drive-way that have been there for over a year. The extra money they have been collecting they could have at least fixed the potholes!

There elevator is dangerous. I got trapped in there elevator, and the Police & Fire department had to come and get me out. If your not going to rent on the first floor so you dont have to use the elevator your ok, but if your on the second or third floor I would look around for another storage facility. ( Soon to relocate)

To whom it may Concern,I have been with this facility through three different owners, and much turn over. I am absolutley delighted AJ stayed on. He is a remarkable young man, and truly brings a smile to my face when I stop in for monthly payment. I always feel so welcome. He also keeps everything very clean, more so then I have seen from previous staff. He is truly an asset to your company, and you should be proud to have him as part of your establishment. My daughter helped me set this up as I am not computer savy, but wanted it to be known what a delight he is. I could go on, but enough said. I am still here because of him.Sincerely,Ms. Eaton

This place is way over priced.. Extrastorage on route 27 is about $35 a mounth cheaper.. Also it is very hard to get in and out due to the people that use it for bussnesses... Overall I had a very bad experience with Metuchen Self Storage. The staff are very nasty and unhelpful. I would avoid
