This place is great and the employees are great I ran out of gas cause my car was having trouble and I walked back in to return some items cause I didnt have any cash left and one of the guy employees told me to just keep it and gave me $10 of his own money to help me out I was able to keep my items and get gas .. I just wanna thank this employee for his kindness and generosity for taking the time to do this I wish I knew his name cause he was a blessing ! Thanks again for all your hard work on keeping customers happy!

I love this dollar store, I go there just about everyday, and things are well stocked, very clean. I really like the people that work there, they are very helpful and check out is fast and Kwik,even if they have a full line, it is never long line.

This Dollar General is nice. And I was searching every single aisle for a little change purse to no prevail and the employee asked me if he could help me find something and I told him and he showed me where they were. Very very nice guy. He even helped me search for the type I was looking for. Although I really miss Savannah working at this particular store. This guy went above and beyond. 👍👍👍👍👍

Best dollar general in town by karwick plaza. Well stocked, most employees are awesome!! Nice and clean unlike any other of the michigan city dollar generals which are disgusting!!

Ehhhhh. Rough to explain but if you visit the dollar general here youd understand. It seems too congested in the aisles and the people were rude. Just a general observation from one trip.

Dont let the name fool ya. Theres more stuff above a dollar than a dollar

Never had any issues there. Sometimes stock on food items is low, and you dont always get greeted when you walk in. Every day cant be sunny though.! All and all, good place for quick stops when needed.

Friendly service things are there that are in every single subject and I v never had a problem there.

Decent for the Dollar store

This Dollar General could not figure out how to enter a coupon. Today me and my mom visited this Dollar General to buy 2 things, Dog food and Cat food. On the dog food bag there was a coupon on the Pedigree dog food for 4 free Cesar wet dog food things. So we went up to the counter she scanned all of the stuff, we hand the person at the register looked at the coupon like she had never seen one before in her life. She proceeded to get the other person at the store to look at the coupon and they looked at the wet dog food and said it had to be 4 specific ones, never mind that the coupon said any 4, they insisted that it had to be a specific type. They then proceeded to take approximately 5 minutes to attempt to enter the coupon, eventually they somehow managed to enter it. So avoid this store at all costs if you want to use a coupon.

Was in there yesterday, It is worse than a Pig pen This place should be closed. The Michigan City health inspector should go in there. There is merchandise all over the floors. I cant believe they are open looking like this.

Nobody is ever at the cash register. The aisles dont fit two carts. The store is always a mess and the shelves have no semblance of organization. Its a new store close to an oppulent area of town. Its being terribly mismanaged. Go to the one on Michigan Blvd.
