I live about 38 miles away from the shop, so there is quite a few shops between my house and Stoms auto that I could use. Id rather travel the distance to go to someone who does honest quality work.

Had my 2009 Honda Pilot at 2 different shops that could not resolve my issue prior to coming to Stoms. My issues were a check engine light and a rough idle. I called Tony, (the owner) after a few recommendations from people around town, explained my situation and what was going on with my car and he told me to bring it in the next day and he would take care of it. I dropped it off early the next morning and one of his employees (Tery) was nice enough to give me a ride home. At around 12:00 in the afternoon Tony called me to inform me my car was done and running great. When I picked the car up Tony and his son Mike explained to me exactly what was wrong with my car and exactly what they did for the repair. I really appreciated them taking the time to explain to me exactly what work they did instead of just handing me a bill like most other places I’ve been too. When I drove off my baby was running better than ever. The cost of repair was also surprisingly low. Mike also informed me of some issues with my car that would need addressing in the future however wasn’t just trying to upsell me or be pushy and understood that I couldn’t afford all of those repairs at once. He broke it down for me and explained to me what were the most severe and important problems to address, and also which ones I would be safe putting off for a while. After this experience nearly two years ago, the only people I trust to work on my car now are Tony and the guys at Stoms Automotive. Definitely gained a lifelong customer.

Ok let me tell you about this place, I met Tony a few years back in passing but soon realized he will be my go to guy on every auto need he is a amazing person and a very skilled mechanic and a all around Nice guy and honest as well sometimes to a fault. let me explain I had a 2004 Lexus rx 330 it was fathers car and I received after he passed so there was strong emotional connection with the truck. and he kept it running for the last 5 years and he was the guy that told me it was time to pass it on and it was tough to hear but he did it. when ever I had a question about a new vehicle I would reach out to him and by god he was Honest about his views but a person needs that in todays world so if you looking for a all around honest mechanic give him a chance you will be impressed!

I would definitely not recommend this place because I went there with my oil and filter and asked for an oil change and the man talked back to me with a horrible attitude after I asked why it was so much for an oil change if I already brought my things. He started bringing his personal issues into the conversation when I was just talking about the oil change.

Fast and reliable. This guy knows his way around anything with a motor. I highly recommend!
