I recently moved to Middlesex and wanted to transfer ALL my prescriptions and my 83 year old mother’s to this CVS store. I was told by the Maplewood CVS to call the new CVS and they will handle it. I called this morning and spoke to someone in the pharmacy who wasn’t the nicest but that’s not the reason for my disappointment. She indicated she could not transfer all my prescriptions at once because they were not all due at this time. I understand that this is their policy however that is why I am writing as I know it’s not the employees fault but that of CVS policy. I was told I have to call when each is due and transfer them individually. I have approx 9 prescriptions at CVS and my 83-year-old mother also has many. I am younger and can handle this excessive process but my mother would not be able to handle it. CVS please make the process of transferring the entire profile to the new location better as it’s infuriating. I know there are times you fill a prescription at different locations but when someone moves it should be simplified. Thank you.
3x this incident happened overall but now im going elsewhere for passport picture for my 1 yr old daughter.First I told them I need it in digital format so they mentioned they can put it in cd or USB. I said ok. After many attempts of taking the picture because ofcourse shes a 1 yr old child the staff did not mention be4 taking the picture that they cant put it in CD or they dont have the USB there it is saying error. So I basically wasted my time there. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CVS LOCATION FOR PASSPORT PICS.Id give a 0 star if possible.
Ive been using this pharmacy for almost 2 decades. Very upsetting when you see the huge staff turn around and new staff decide to deactivate long term medication which was only filled once. Being told they would call my physician and not make the call after a week is unacceptable. Today put the icing on the cake when I was prescribed a simple antibiotic which was ordered by a dentist after having an emergency root canal in the early morning hours. Never receiving notification by late afternoon. I call only to sit for 30 min. finally hanging up since there was no pickup. Drove to the pharmacy to have to wait since they never filled. I understand that with everything thats happening in the world, turnaround time might be a bit lengthier. To wait a week for someone to contact my doctor to fix a mistake they made and find out it was never done is unacceptable. Ive called my physician and will be picking up new scripts tomorrow. I think its time to try another pharmacy. A shame after 20 years.
The new girl they just hired very rude . I went for my sons picture. She was very rude taking his picturesI wont go back to this cvs anymore
Cvs in middlesex boro came through when i was in a jam. Thanks again Loraine and staff in pharmacy.
This Cvs refused to fill a valid doctor’s prescription. It is taking me over a week to get a necessary prescription filled. Horrible service.
Pharmacy - staff is rude and unhelpful (tall blond)
This CVS has UPS services inside at the counter
Poor service at pharmacy counter. Poor attitude and uncooperative. While picking up my rx, Cashier refused to ring up my items. citing there were too many items to ring up eventhough there was no one else on line.
For 15 years I have had subscriptions filled at this location and no one ever told me about a manufacturer discount card that could be used with or without insurance. The cost of the medication started at $200, in July ($250) and in August ($278). I inquired about the increase. A Rutgers Pharmacy student working that day, overheard the conversation and found a manufacturers discount card that could be used with and without insurance. This card saved me $100. It is great to have an individual who truly is concerned about the customer. He went out of his way to research the medication on his cell, registered me and I was able to apply the card to the prescription I was refilling that day. It took 2 minutes. I can register each year. I am truly grateful to this young man (Initials A.A.). CVS should be proud to have such an exceptional employee that is dedicated to the healthcare field in providing the highest customer service in the pharmacy department.Thank you A.A.
I’m a pharmacy technician with CVS in Bergen county, and I had left my bottle of my medications back home while visiting family. I simply needed one courtesy pill of my medication (not a control or narcotic) and the pharmacist refused to give me one pill for the night because I don’t have any refills left on my medication and said I have to go back to my regular store to get one courtesy pill. I went to another CVS 5 minutes away and they gave me the pill with no questions asked. Horrible pharmacist who is stingy with her $0.97 pills. The only reason why I gave 2 stars is because the front store was super nice with my transaction.
I been going to this pharmacy for 15 years. I love all the staff members, especially Lorraine. Every time I go to pick up a perscription for me or my family she is very welcoming and is always smiling. Thank you Lorraine.-Ash
Incredibly uneducated Pharmacist.Went in a few days ago due to cramping muscles in my back. I went to the consultation desk at the pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacist about what my best options might be for this kind of issue. She told me to just get any of the rubs, cold or hot, that are available on the shelves around the corner. When I asked her about any specific one that might work best she said No, theyre all pretty much the same. Then i asked her what she would recommend for pain or to relax the cramping that I was continuing to have in my back. She again replied Just get anything on the shelves over there, take whatever youre used to taking.Well that was a waste of time.
Very poor efficiency at pharmacy. Only pharmacists are able to fix the matter. Rest staff keeps rotating, no one knows yesterdays business. Always have to follow up on the request. I am gonna change my pharmacy now.
It is a retail store. I dont really expect much from it other than the fact the shelves are well stocked and that the CVS employees are happy to see their customers. The people working there are friendly and theyre willing to help if you ask them directly. Sometimes, theyll walk me down to the aisle if I cant find what I am looking for in the first place.
Very bad bad service they hold up my prescription for a week and never have the medicine ready every day was out of stock, poor service the workers are too bad they work like theyre running without attention to their work please dont trust this farmacy.
The pharmacy is ludicrous. Always confusion, and they obviously couldnt care less. I picked up my prescription 5 minutes after the doctor phone it in at Union Ave Pharmacy in Bound Brook and they treat you as if youre human. It would take CVS half a day at best after dealing with blank looks and dull monotones. There is no reason to go to Middlesex CVS.
I turly and honestly hate this CVS. Service is horrible especially the Pharmacy. What Pharmacy closes 6pm on Saturday? Also the automatic message told me I could come in anytime to pickup my son’s medication and never told me a cut off time. I got to the cvs at 6pm and I saw the pharmacist and she told me its 6pm and I can’t pick up my son’s meds that sorry everything is closed down. I seriously wish I can give them a 0 star. The worst CVS Pharmacy!!
Pharmacy is very inefficient!!Pharmacist are good but setup and help behind the counter need to be better trained and learn how to treat the customer better!!!
Gave me wrong meds once. long lines. got better lately
Nice staff, but sometimes too many people in pick up line in pharmacy. Not easy to get out of because you cant make a left to go back.
Pharmacy staff is rude and uncaring. Ive seen the pharmacist act similairly to other customers. Never has certain medications in stock despite a customer brinibri the same RX every month and doesnt have the prescription filled when promised. Ridiculous.
Dont go here, unless you want to wait for the cashier to finish texting before helping you.
Bad customer service, I had to repeat my self many times so that the girl in the counter actually felt lime doing some work and start searching for my medications, it was almos as if i was asking her for a favor
Staff at pharmacy is too slow. They took almost 30 mins for flu shot. I was really frustrated.
Excellent staff and store!
Nice remodeling
Clean store
