Love the turkey sandwiches and the Crispy Crunchy Chicken. It is my favorite kind of chicken. Not too much breading and not jaw numbing cruncy. It is just right.

Edited to 5 stars due to recent changes. See below for initial review. The food is not that good and the store is poorly lit, cluttered and dirty. Don’t get me wrong I have shopped here many times and the staff is nice enough it just seems the standards are a bit on the low side. They have a grill that opens early and serves sandwiches and fried chicken and other things along that line, but it’s never really fresh and they close early. There’s also a minimum purchase required to use a credit card free of charge. The place is in need of a remodel and/or new ownership. If in a pinch you can get the basics like milk, bread, chips and cigarettes.

Ive been going to this designation since I was a teenager in 2007 but for some reason since 2017 and since the two lovely cashiers Ive dealt with disappeared, customer service has gone deplorable and I promised myself and my mother that well never come here again. Sadly we used to go here just for lottery tickets and boss cards but just for those few seconds, the majority of the older Indian staff make you feel like garbage and as if youre a nuisance! My god brother won two scratch offs here and they gave him a hard time assuming that he was lying until they found out he wasnt! There was times Ive been here but shrugged it off but noticed with me and some customers before me on thd line, they dont acknowledge you unless they feel like it or be on their cellphones while doing lottery tickets. They obsequiously give different service bowing down to their white customers no matter their social class despite some of those same customers talking down to them. I usually shrug these things off and as retariated, I promised myself not to come here but today I was tired and this was the only store that was closer and encountered a nasty new staff that was Indian man of old age with a mustache, and was wearing a green shirt today where I have to make this review and spoke up.I told him hi and that Ill be doing two mega millions where I handed him my mega paper in hand respectfully. Didnt say anything and was writing something on my ticket so I just asked what he was writing and he responded that if I wanted it to be cash though Ive already gave him in cash so I stated oh I didnt know, thought I was missing a number. Afterwards as if he was decking out cards, flicked my ticket, my mega paper, AND my money on the counter along without handing it to me while glaring at me! Politely BUT sternly I checked him quick that he needed to start over and return all of those along with my change back respectfully into my hand like I handed my money RESPECTFULLY to him in hand! He did this rapidly and did what I told him but tried to make an illogical excuse that it was because I needed to write on the cash part. What does that have to do with what you did? You did that because you thought I was dirty, you looked beneath me and didnt do that to the customer before me. You make others that look like me like trash is what I said to him.I take my business to Piscataways Quick Check and Superfood Fresh Market at Union Ave where one is respected and not treated prejudicedly despite the longer drive. One young Indian staff member and three of the Hispanic members are nice but I refuse to come here anymore. Any black customer that comes to this market though be cautious with how youll be treated and if so, put them on blast and stop contributing your money here!

This store had been remodeled a few years ago. My biggest gripe is that most of the items no longer have prices, not even stickers on the products. I thought it was illegal not to reveal prices.
