I have been going to this Ace Hardware 4 years. The staff is always very helpful and willing to guide you along your own projects. The store is organized. You can get gardening supplies here in the spring and summer. They also carry different brands of paint. You can get key duplicates made.

They are a touch short handed because of COVID. Each worker who is there, knows their specialty inside and out. But you might come in when that specialist is not there. The other associates will bend over backwards to try to help. They will also check ace.com to try to get the product delivered to their store for next day pickup.If push comes to shove, for a really specialized part, they will give you the name of the knowledgeable associate - - and when s/he will next work there to answer your questions. I have never been disappointed.

Your normal average neighborhood hardware, lawn and garden, household store. Slightly more expensive than the big boxes, 1000 times better customer service.

Ace of Middleton Springs is my go to place for finding whatever I need to keep things running at home. The staff is always friendly and willing to help, even if its a 10 cent screw. Definitely better than the big box stores.

Shopped here for 10 years and always friendly helpful staff. I forgot the price of the screws I was going to purchase and the cashier was very rude and sarcastic. I would have happily gone back and checked if she asked.Happy to say I received a very nice call from one of the managers apologizing. This is what I have been used to at this store in the past.

I like to do things that require many different tools and materials. It can be pretty difficult to find exactly what youre looking for, so its very comforting to be able to walk into the hardware store and ask where something is. Being able to quickly find what youre looking for and be out the door within a few minutes is super convenient

Every shopping trip is a little extra stressful these days during the coronavirus, and needing help from store personnel can be difficult. At Ace of Middleton Springs this week, I had a great experience. I did extra research on some projects beforehand, but ended up needing to ask for help. Jean and Adam were both so kind and understanding; they took extra time to help me and I felt completely satisfied with their expertise and with the whole shopping experience. The store is jam-packed with stuff but it doesn’t feel crowded, and I felt like they were taking extra steps to ensure safety for shoppers and employees alike. Thanks to Jean and Adam and Ace of Middleton Springs for getting me home safely with the right materials for my projects!

I have been using this hardware store for 30 years. I have loved going there and tried always to use it over the bigger stores. But it has changed in the last 6 months. It is not the friendly, helpful place. I thought it was because of the pandemic. I hope that is so but they seem to have less options and they dont accept Ace reward cards as easily.

Thus is my neighborhood store, and I love it! The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. I look forward to going.The store is clean, well organized, and well stocked.

Have continually tried to support this local store. The people who work here are nice. The store however is extremely overpriced and they make it impossible to price match. We have decided that we will no longer shop there. Dorn up the street has earned our business.

Signed up for Ace Rewards and I receive fliers and coupons in the mail regularly. Found what I wanted instantly and received all discounts advertised. Customer service was tops.

In most cases I can find what I need and get help, if necessary. This store is well located in Middleton. I wish that the personell wouldnt turnover so often. I used to know staff by name and could depend on their friendly faces. The store feels like mine, but it feels like revolving staff...no one to get attached-to. 😟

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. A limited selection of items, but you can generally find what you need quickly. The two best things are:1. They sell bait (minnows, shiners, leeches, nightcrawlers, etc)2. Their hardware department has a section full of different size screws, bolts, nuts, etc. You can buy just one of thats all you need.

ACE is the place and this ACE proves that. Well stocked and a good bunch of employees.

I needed a single nut for my car but I wasnt sure if the size. I was going to guess and if wrong just eat the .27 as a loss if I guessed wrong. The very friendly salesman went above and beyond by bringing the entire tray of nuts off all sizes out to my car. I also needed a couple 300 watt light bulbs but I was going to order them off Amazon as I really doubted they would have that size. The salesman lead me to the light bulbs and low and behold there were the 300 watt light bulbs and they were $3 a piece of cheaper than they were on Amazon. I cant say enough about this hardware store. Shop local!

Why do they charge to recycle CFLs when everywhere else takes them for free? Do they not want to recycle? They dont seem to support keeping the planet clean.

Asked for help from guy by the counter. He pointed I n the general area and mumbled something and when we got to the area item wasnt there. There was 1 other customer in the store at the time. We asked again and he just mumbled again and didnt help. We left and went to another hardware store.
