The watch and clocks people at Wolff Kubly Ace Hardware were knowledgeble and quick. I needed a watch back popped back in after I tried to get the battery replaced. They did it super quick. I would recommend this place for everything watches and clocks. I wont go anywhere else now.

Last time I went in to replace my watch battery. He showed me the battery still had 2 years of left ! So honest! This time it needed new battery. It took 4 1/2 minutes! I was so happy!

Every time I call here to Wolff Kobly on University Ave, the staff is always super friendly and helpful and their prices are good and comparable.They go out of their way to help, especially with the pandemic. Sad to say that two of the young men working had their face masks below there noses. It was evident that it was purposeful. One did so while checking out at the cash register and another was talking to another patron. Just disappointed. I’ll come back after the pandemic is under control.

Worst customer service ever! I didn’t even had the chance to go to the store, and the ladies were being extremely rude with me over the phone! I wanted to reach the clock department and the lady treated me like if I was dumb! I do have an accent and would hate to assume she was speaking to me in that tone because of it!

Great customer service. Came in last week to get some bolts for a new bed frame, that arrived without the bolts in the packaging. The owner was able to to fine the right bolts and saved us from having to return the frame and/ or wait for replacement parts. Thanks for all your help!

Needed a watch battery.The Jeweler (not just a guy that works in a hardware store) took care of it right away. He was courteous and extremely knowledgeable, even vastly overqualified to open up a watch and replace a simple battery, but thats OK - really!He took care to make sure my gasket was cleaned so it wouldnt leak water into the watch.Price was very reasonable.Oh, fast service too.Happy customer, and highly recommend.

Stopped by to replace watch batteries - very reasonably priced. Batteries were replaced quickly while I waited. Staff was friendly and responsive to some questions I had regarding other services offered, as well.

Salesman took me straight to what I was looking for and answered my questions. Always helpful staff at this Ace and other Ace(s). Prices are reasonable. I like to support locally owned businesses like this & am ok with paying a wee bit more than at a big box.

Great Hardware Store. It has just about everything. And I needed something badly to deal with this virus outbreak. I needed to make some cleaning solution, and they had everything I needed, and thank God they were allowed to be open because I am sanitizing the house. The only reason for less than perfect rating is that internet said they had some tool in stock but when I got there it was not, so inventory tracking and the what it reports on the internet may have just a few bugs in the system, or it was just bad luck. In any event, this is a very nice hardware store.

The jeweler was very friendly and professional. Changed my fine grade watchs battery, it was funny he gave me and ETA of 35 minutes and was finished in less than 5. Also it was only $10, highly recommend

This is my go to hardware store for the quick household things. I dont own my house so I am not doing much in terms of renovations, but my little repairs are easy to handle here. The selection is a little limited when it comes to certain things, but they always have at least the Ace brand and another option or two. The staff is always helpful and I really enjoy shopping here.

Excellent service, friendly employees, awesome overall shopping experience. A few friends and i were travel through town in an R.V when the generator exhaust pipe fell off. We stopped in to by a wrench set and asked them if they had anything to bend the brace back into place. They took me into there shop and let me use their bench vice, no problem. Great bunch of guys.

Get your watch batteries here. Good service done right. Not some kid doing the work. The gentleman was quick and knowledgeable.

I was just stopping in to get salt for the driveway and a can of paint. The staff is considerate to customers and the store is close enough that I frequent the store for items I know are generally there. You can use digital payment from your smart phone here and use your ACE card and its coupons.

I saw at least 5 people working. 4 of those made direct eye contact with me then just looked away without saying a word. Zero customer service.

I changed battery for my Swiss Military at Wolff Kubly here, the watch wasnt sealed well and water came in badly. I went there asking for a re-seal but the lady there refused to do anything to fix it unless I pay $45 more for all the testing stuff fee. Very disappointed!!!! I would not go there anymore.
