Yesterday unfortunately i went to this store and today i was tested positive by covid. Im seeing several comments from people of coronavirus. They should close this store and disinfect it. Someone there an employee must be contaminated. The store was clean but need disinfecting

Well writing a bad review because its my only option & its impossible to speak to anybody from this Verizon on the phone. Went in, told them all I cared about were my photos and messages being transferred to the new phone. Thanks to this Verizon I lost a few hundred photos. Not only that they gave me the wrong phone! It shouldnt be up to the customer to be a professional. I came to Verizon thinking they knew what they were doing. I am absolutely heartbroken over the loss of these photos. Even worse Verizon doesnt care or respect the magnitude of this loss. Your employees should care more about your customers experience than how quickly they can get the customer to leave. All I needed or cared about were those photos. Sent me out the door with my new phone still in the box.... and deleted my old phone before without checking to make sure everything was transferred. I will be ending my contract with Verizon after this billing cycle because of this location & this experience.

I see a lot of reviews about this store and people are contaminated they should close for a while and disinfect for safety. Maybe they have an infected employee and they dont know. Im at high risk, I have diabetes and I think all this is a lack of respect for us as a Verizon customer.

Well I was ripped off the first time I went there to buy 2 phones. However when I went in to replace a phone under warranty, I completely felt better. I learned that the guy who had initially ripped me off no longer worked there.Also Ciaran was awesome and very knowledgeable. I ended up actually buying an additional phone. He also gave me a tremendous discount for everything I had previously been through. I recommend 100%.

Super friendly super Covid safe. Staff was patient with every step as I updated the family plan and picked up a new phone. Jenn makes some great conversation and when I went back to fix something I slipped up they fixed it in less time than it took to explain the problem.

I had a unique situation in which Fedex delivered my brand new 2021 iPad to my home, but left it in an unsecured place on my driveway and it was run over by a car. I went to Chris Morris, a manager at this store and I was quite frustrated with the whole situation with what happened with Fedex. I was also not optimistic about a positive response from Verizon. The other managers were also very understanding to my frustration and allowed me to vent and where very empathetic to my situation. They listened and told me they would help in any way they can. After getting no where at another store where they just told me they cant, Chris pulled me aside and told me he understands and he would get on it to work everything out for me and to give him a few days. I didnt expect much, assuming he ever did call me back. He called me back in two days and told me that a replacement is being overnighted to my house and everything is all set. In this day and age, to have someone come through when they told you they would makes all the difference. I highly recommend this store for anyone looking for devices or help from Verizon.

Ciaran was very helpful.TALKED slowly,not rushed,no pushy sales talk!!!...Ps I’m amending my review,!After I brought my new phone, I had difficulty in downloading info from my old phone to my new phone .Verizon refused to do it in store, even tho I kept saying what if I have problems???I spent days trying to download info and kept getting stuck, I went back at the end of a week and then they helped me!I live abt 40 min away!Overall a Frustrating experience!!!I don’t think I will use Verizon next time!!

This store seems to often push a lot of items in a sale, then the billing gets messed up, then you have follow up in myriad ways to get it fixed. Seems selling product, not service, at all costs is this store managers mantra. You have options, go somewhere else. Im a 20+ year customer & this store is making me rethink.

The staff was apathetic, bureaucratic, and self righteous. As an FYI, youll need an appointment to enter the store (even if the store is empty & all 4 of the verizon wizards are mindlessly idle on their cell phones)Then again, it is a cell phone store in Middletown CT so I guess the punishment for their apathy is actively manifesting into the reality they are all living.

We made the switch to Verizon just 24 hours ago and couldn’t be happier! Pam and Brandon at the Middletown location were amazing! We had tons of questions and concerns while setting up our business account and they were so patient and knowledgeable and the customer service was exceptional! I can’t believe we wasted 2 years with the horrible service at Sprint!

The level of service is excellent, but theres a motive...they will sell you your own mother at a markup. No surprise...the entire purpose of any cell phone store is to push merchandise. They work on commission. Just be aware, is all. Theres music with a strong bass beat playing, everybody is happy, surrounded by beautiful, expensive tech. They are good, and they are determined, and if you arent, you will spend more than you originally intended.

I was sold two phones, each with a $400 off Black Friday deal at this store. The $800 credit was to be applied to my account. Next bill came and no credit was applied. I went back to the store and was told that the credit would get applied after 3 billing periods. I waited 4 and still received no credit. So went back to the store and spoke to the manager, who was also present the night I bought the phones. They put me on the phone with Verizon Customer “support”. Verizon rep said there was no record in the system that the discount was applied to the sales transaction. Rather than owning up to not entering the sales transaction in properly, the store manager denied the offer was made and refused to stand by the $800 credit. I requested to speak with a higher level manager at Verizon Customer “Support”. They said I would get a call back by the next level manager but it would take up to 72 hours. That was about 10 days ago. I have been with Verizon for several years. That will end soon. I found a lack of integrity and customer support both at this location and on the phone.

Best Verizon around! Every time I go there, they are wonderfully helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The one time I went to another Verizon, I had to go to them to fix the other Verizons mistake. I cant say enough about them! A+++

My experience at this Verizon location was amazing. A representative was at the door to greet me and sign me in. After explaining my reason for my visit, she directed me to a kiosk where I was able to pay my bill in a matter of minutes. It was the most efficient process ever. Once I finished on the kiosk and waited for a representative to help me, I was out of there in about 10 minutes. I would DEFINITELY recommend this location.

Verizon customer service needs to do better for customers old, new, and those that choose to disconnect there services. I have tried getting a final bill since July and have been charged while not using any of there services and no one will help we with the issue. Customer care said go to a corporate location which Middletown is and when I got there they told me there is nothing they can do call billing department 😡 wasted my time and energy for months now. Frustrating company when theres an issue to resolve.

Currently sitting waiting and there are clearly 4 representatives standing around not doing anything. Here to fix my boyfriends phone and we just keep getting looked at and passed over. It’s honestly not the first time this crew has given my significant other and his mother a hard time more than once. There was a guy complaining about the service and a representative. Going to continue going to the Cromwell store. Thanks.

I went to the Middletown RI store on Sunday for Black Friday sale to buy the IPhone XR at 599.00. I said that to the rep who was helping me. After 25 mins and all set to purchase he tells me the price is 660, the 599 is online only. When I asked him why he didn’t tell me that when I walked in and mentioned the 599 price his response was “ I heard you say that but I never agreed”. Unreal!! Avoid this store. Went home and bought online.

A little over a month ago I was going to cancel my contract with Verizon after over 20 years with them. I was disgusted with the 800 customer service reps, they did not care about us and showed it over and over again. We originally upgraded to a business account and were sold on certain device sales and software to improve our business. Where I went wrong was not going into our local store and speaking with someone directly. I was at my wits end with being wrongfully overcharged along with getting nowhere everytime I called 800 customer service. Once I found Pam at the Middletown store, she turned everything around for us. She researched everything, found the errors, corrected them and had made it possible to change my mind. Its makes a huge difference from just calling the 800 number and going to speak with someone in a local branch. They care and are willing to listen and work with me. After arguing with supervisors and management over the last 8 months, Pam has changed my mind and we have invested more in Verizon. Which I honestly did not think Id ever do. I couldnt wait till we had the chance to cancel when these issues all started. We are so happy we found Pam to help us sort this all out and build our trust in Verizon again. Thanks Pam!

I was super hesitant to visit this place after reading all of its reviews. Thankfully my experience here was fantastic! I was promptly greeted upon entering and all of the staff was fantastic. DO NOT do any business with the @Verizon store in Middletown, CT. I placed and order in store on Monday, January 14 with two day shipping. Today, January 20th I am still without my ordered product. I went down to the store to cancel the order and get a refund. Matt the store manager refused to provide a refund or make any reasonable effort to attempt to resolve the deficient customer experience.

Verizon wireless is a scam. 35.00 to restock a phone they gave me for free and said it wasnt a phone they were going to resell. Smart Talk gave me the same service for 50.00 less a month. Not much on customer service unless youre buying and they are making a sale. Very disappointed with Verizon.

I have usually had great service at this store but today, when purchasing a new phone, one of the employees offered me what he claimed was an unbelievable deal and would not let up when I politely declined. Not the experience I was hoping for when I walked in. I will be taking my future business elsewhere.

Went here for a new phone and got the typical high pressure sales person who obviously works on commission or some type of incentive. Tried to sell me every accessory under the sun. After I agreed, I realized this was not for me then they socked me with multiple Restocking fees.Basically a bunch of kids working here who are more interested in boosting up their paychecks than giving the customer what they need.Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Xfinity. Price is half of what Verizon is and they even use the Verizon towers! My phone bill is now $50/month with a new I-phone compared to $110 at this store. I really hate to give bad reviews but this one is well deserved.

What a complete waste of time. An employee made a significant error in quoting a phone price per month totaling over $300.00. Now I am left on hold with customer service to try and fix the problem and to avoid paying a restocking fee. When I went back into the store they admitted the mistake, but didnt offer an apology. If the focus was more on customer service instead of trying to up sell everything, mistakes like this would be reduced. The employee flat out lied to me stating that the XS doesnt come in a 64GB model as it clearly does on the Verizon website. Overall a terrible experience.
