Clean and spacious. Good discounts. Lots of fresh produce, including organic foods. Sushi, passably authentic. Variety of cut meat, no suspicious bone fragments. Efficient delicatessen. Great selection of dairy. Kosher section. Fresh flowers… unless you show up three days later.

I found mostly everything I was looking for except for a few Latin products they always carried they were out of. Also, shoestring fries and a few shelves were empty. Otherwise everything else was fine.

Yesterday I purchased two Shop Rite Rotisserie chicken from the deli, when I went serve the chicken for Football Sunday dinner as I was slicing I notice that the first roaster was pink. I then cut the second roaster that one was pink. I was angry along with being hungry so I had to recook them and hoping that my family was fine after eating it.I should of took pictures to post. Will I purchase chicken again ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!

Wanted to like this shop rite, have been going to various shop rites across NY since I was kid. Never seen one as dirty as this one. I picked up a cart from the indoor coral and as in checking out I noticed the entire bottom of the cart and sides were coated in grease, oil, animal fat, who knows! Maybe even the butcher was using (have seen this before when I worked at a grocery store) And it completely coated my groceries in this nasty substance. I have been grocery shopping thousands of times and never grossed out so much in a store. I will drive the extra 5 min to go to Hannaford.

We stopped in while on a trip home to NY...there are no ShopRites in my part of NC, It was nice to be there. Only complaint is they didnt have my Hubbys favorite cookies in ANY of the SRs.

I very much enjoyed this ShopRite. I picked up a few dinner items the other day on the way home from work. They had everything I was looking for and a few extra items as well. I found. Generous amount of guacamole on sale (Taco Tuesday is a big deal in my home). Staff was very helpful especially with my not being too familiar with this ShopRite. I’ll be happy to stop by in the near future.

Unfortunately the carts are very dirty & Hardly Any Handicap Parking !!I know I have A handicap sign & when I need parking its never available !!!!Parking Spots are so close together people hit your door when getting out or when they leave their cart by the door of your car !!! Cant win !!! People have no respect for your Car just making very clear!!!!!They should divide parking so no one is close to one another in the parking lot and this is why I do not come here as much as I use too !! For the most part its better to come before closing ..

I work with individuals with disabilities. Every time we go to this shop rite the battery on the scooter does. It has happened the last 3 times I went. I spoke to the manager and he just looked at me.. we started going to Hannaford now and no issues. The scooters are newer and always fully charged

I have shopped at ShopRite for many, many years. I love it! My reason for writing today is to praise the cashier who waited on me yesterday, March 9th, 2021 at the DolsonAve, Middletown, NY store . His name is Keyshawn and he is the most courteous, efficient and patient employee Ive had the pleasure to meet. He is an asset to the company, and I want them to recognize that! Of course I told him! I was so happy to find this shoprite so close to my house. I ran in for a quick few items and realized I didnt have a shoprite card so I ventured over to the Customer service counter and had a very pleasant interaction with the lady behind thee counter. she was friendly and helpful. She answered my questions and got my shoppers card done quickly and efficiently. I witnessed the two ladies being friendly and nice to me and 3 other customers while I was there.I used the self checkout for my food and was in ad out in no time at all. No lines. No issues with the scanner. nada. just a perfect quick run to the grocery store.

Kudos to ShopRite! The speed and organized checkout is impressive. I always have a fairly Pleasant shopping experience at this location. Theyve expanded some of their organic produce which makes me very happy. Organic items are now grouped together then a very succinct manner. The staff are friendly and willing to help and answer any questions posed. Despite the stress they still managed to keep a pleasant attitude.

Clean, workers are always making sure things are clean and well shelved. In my opinion parking lot can be cleaner. Other than that I do recommend going to this location.

I try to go about 7:00 pm and it is usually easy to shop with less customers. We can respect the 6feet away rule. I love the pre-sliced and labeled cold cuts.

Entrance makes no sense. The covid line is confusing to everyone. Store layout is all wrong. Most Shoprites I love, this one could use a makeover. On the bright side prices are pretty good.

First time using Shop Rite pick up service today and was very impressed with the process. We were able to secure a pickup time slot today, and shop via website to find everything we needed. I pulled into the parking lot during my designated window and parked in a designated pickup parking space. A sign in front of the parking space directed me to text message my last name to a phone number on the sign. I received a confirmation moments later indicating a wait time of less than 5 minutes. Minutes later, an employee brought a shopping cart to my car, verified my last name, and left the cart for me to load into my car.This was a great, contactless experience.

I mean it shop right so cant say much else. If they are going to enforce nah wearing they should make sure their employees use mask properly. They are made to cover the mouth and nose pulling it down so you nose is exposed defeats the purpose of a mask.

Shoprite dolson is the only food market on this side of town and it shares the shopping center with other stores.My opinion is its always packed with people and the parking lot is always full. They always move the lines along though.

My visit was fine. Guidelines in place and followed. are usually dont try to complain but this is been an ongoing issue with ShopRite on dolson avenue which I brought up to the manager or the likes their of about the bacon.... It always seems to be a quite of bit of bacon always out of date and disgusting looking...never fails. Please look into this matter

Great local food place. They help the community by showcasing local events and allowing posters for people to know what is going on in town. They also support The Salvation Army each year by letting them stand outside and ring the bell!

I like the store and the set up. They seem to keep items pretty well stocked. I think they need to check the bagged fruit a little better for bad ones and mold. I would also like them to stock Two Good Plain yogurt.

I have to say it is one of the nicest stores I have shopped in.It is clean and well organized.But I am really writing the review bcause of one young gentleman named Keyshaun,he was running register on december 12th 2020.myself,my Sister and my Niece were shopping.we had gotten online to checkout and we were greeted by Keyshaun.He was so friendly and helpful.when my Niece noticed a waterspill on the floor at the end of the counter he immediatly called for maintenance and carefully escorted each one of us pass the spill.Keshaun is a credit to your store and we want to thank him again.

A decent place to go shopping but like all grocery stores you have time it just right. Especially this ShopRite. The parking is a little dicey at times and the store gets crowded but overall its a good ShopRite to get some food and snacks!

Very rude cashier, spoke not a word except are you going to take your things out like that. My groceries, she was implying, because I didnt have my reusable bags with me, I left them in the car. Completely different experience in Hannaford, very friendly cashier and they are still bagging your groceries and placing them in your cart. ShopRite did have what I needed but completely rude customer service.

Depending on what time and day you go, you can get fresh produce and fresh meats. Its usually clean and they have the sanitize wipes available for you by the shopping carts. The only thing is, its gets busy and you stay on the line really long. Other than that, workers are always helpful and willing to go out of their way to help you and sometimes share recipes if you ask. The bakery department gets very creative with birthday cakes and they are made really tasteful. Their fruit tarts are amazing! Shout out to their bakery crew! Theyre the BEST!!!!!!

I would give this place no stars if I could. The cashier was very rude. We watched her not ID the individual in front of us but myself and my friend which are well into our 30s had to show both of our IDs to buy alcohol and when I showed my active duty military ID she asked the cashier next to her if they accepted that ID. Smh unacceptable. I just returned from deployment and to ask if my military ID is accepted.. is just unacceptable...do better.

AVOID DOLSON AVE SHOPRITEThe line to check out is always super long, they had 3 cashiers on a Friday morning and the check out line went from the front all the way back to bakery. And they werent quick about moving us along. I left the cart and walked out.

The refurbishment it under went not so long ago has really improved the layout. Good fresh fruit and Veg department. The only thing that went downhill was the selection of beer! It use to be so good - now it’s the lowest common denominator

The floral shop is excellent. The bakery has nice people but they dont offer the latest options. A few months ago I wanted a photo cake. They didnt make them. Now they do but, the machine was broken. They dont do custom sugar free cakes and dont have many decorating options. The deli is very good.

Worst supermarket in Middletown. Waited almost a hour to check out on a Friday at 1 pm. No cashiers open and multiple in the back of store goofing off

Since the pademic the staff is rude and dont know how to speak with people. Tried to exchange bad seafood they sold me and told me it wasnt purchased in there store had to call corporate where they found my purchase and they sent a gift card.
