I have visited this store for years. The staff has always been friendly to me. They have a nice variety. It is a large store (hence the name Beverage Mart); they may ask for your ID if you are under 40 (enjoy being young while it lasts). Thats common policy for a college town.

Big. Lots of free parking. Great variety. Helpful signage throughout store.

Over priced...youd think with there size and inventory they would beat the mom and pop stores...unfortunately ately they dont...although if yourooki g for something hard to find this is the place to find it...just be prepared to lay the price ;) enjoy

Rude rude rude rude associates. Everyone at the front, minus 1 or 2 (depending on the day) have such an attitude like they are bothered by you coming in and buying their stuff. They stare you down, don’t say 3 works to you besides “what a receipt”. If it wasn’t for the decent selection I would never go here. I think some cashiers need to retire and stop making everyone as miserable as them.

Nice store with a great selection of beers - Be sure to check out the CT local beer section near the back right of the store! Also, a wide wide variety of wines and liquors (I dont think Ive ever not found something here).During the start of the pandemic, I was glad to see the management here was proactive sanitizing and cleaning, putting up some of the first plexi barriers for cashiers. All in all, a great liquor store!

Always has a good variety of craft beer, wines, and liquor. They seem to be a little slower to get some of the rarer local beer that other liquor stores in the area seem to easily get, or dont have them at all. The staff always seems friendly and helpful.

Rude. Uncomfortable. They made me feel less than. I have dodge this place for a bit.. I went in tonight because my spirit go to place was closed. They asked for my id.. fine..but I had to go back to my car grab it.. come back in and circle around the entire store to get to the register..which is a maze and not easy to do. Once there the gal with ice blond hair was cold and not responsive. This place is just to big.. and to uncomfortable for people trying to randomly buy spirits. The space could be used for something else.

Good selection at good prices! They automatically give you a discount when you buy a case of wine, you dont have to ask!

I work here, great selection of craft beers, wines and liquors. Big store, people usually leave with more than they came in for and we have great employees. Discounts on most cases of wine 10 percent.

I didnt bring a mask with me this time so I wrapped a sweater around my face as an impromptu one, she said that she couldnt sell to me because I wasnt wearing a mask, how ridiculous. Not only that but theres been consistent rudeness amongst staff, if they didnt have the largest selection of alcohol near me then I would never come back, but alas its not the case.

The place has a great selection of items, and theyre easy to find even though they have a large inventory.

I wouldnt even give one star to this place very rude customer service. Been here 5 times and each time was bad experience first time ask for a specific brand in wine they arent familiar with any wine brands,secondly while greeting cashier and finalized my purchase she asked if I need a bag well who goes out of store with bottle in hand not a lady I hope and not to mention very rude as if she didnt want to work there. Thirdly I waited in line with no one at register of course should I expect better. Was just in a hurry and it was just convenient from traveling a distance when all store were to lock with the next 10 minutes. I wont go on much further you get the point UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. well speaking one day with neighbors they said the same thing that yhey didnt like it here also so to anyone reading this I know where theres GOID CUSTOMER SERVICE and very polite its called Valencia on east main st in meriden not too far but at least you wont get bad service.

Store always closed 10 mins before it’s supposed to. Can’t make last minute stops, specially on a Sunday when they close. I come to the doors 5 mins before, employee acts like they don’t see us and turns head.

Rude staff, horrible service, and overpriced are only a few words that describe this establishment. If I could give this store a 0 star rating I would. Not only was the staff completely lacking in any knowledge of alcohol or liquor they were also very rude and offensive to me as a customer. I will never return to this store again and warn those who do to beware.

Terrible place. OVERPRICED and extremely dishonest. They sold us a keg of spoiled beer, we returned it and they confirmed it was not good. We were promised a refund that they never issued. In spite of many phone calls and email messages they are not responding at all. Thieves!
