The first picture shows where they used a black marker to cover up where they didnt use the necessary amount of tint on the window. The other pictures are after the 3rd visit and opportunity to fix their poor workmanship. I was told to go back a 4th time but declined after the owner advised me they would have to take the door panel off in order to be able to get the tint to go further down on the window. Idk very much about tint but Ive had plenty of vehicles windows tinted that I knew that was not necessary. I called 2 other local tint shops and they (along with my usual tint shop owner) confirmed it was not needed and that it was NOT a good idea to allow them to remove my door panel. I didnt go to my usual tint shop because I thought I would save time and money on making the day trip. Needless to say I didnt save on either. I ended up having to make the trip and pay to have the windows tinted correctly. Since this incident Ive needed to have another vehicles windows tinted and I opted on making the day trip. Maybe this was a bad month for Custom Affects but they were given 3 different opportunities to fix their poor work and still couldnt get it right.

I have had Custom Affects tint several vehicles and they are always quick and efficient. I recently had some powder coating done and my parts came out beautiful. The powder coat takes special care and extra time, but the prices are competitive and the finished product is great!

Had my sons car tinted here and a few pieces wrapped in the black vinyl wrap, that he wanted blacked out. They got it in and explained the process to us, and how long it would take. Called us when it was done, and it turned out great. Nice, friendly, and did great work.

They have done 6 vehicles for us now and we wouldnt choose anyone else! No one in the area provides the quality or prices for the work. The owners are so sweet and stand behind their work. We have even traded one our our vehicles in in Austin and the car dealership mentioned how good the tent looked. I would not recommend anyone anywhere else but Custom Affects!

I work at Fender Truck Accessories and we take Every fleet vehicle to custom affects as well as our non fleet ones. In the last 8 years of working here we have had zero issues with custom affects. It is rare, but if we have an issue with the tint work they fix it, no questions asked. Besides tint, we use them for powder coats and vinyl wraps. These guys are professional and work hard. To the snowflake (travelin n reviewin)that said that they were told they had to remove the panels he is full of it. I guess your buddy the usual tint shop owner put you up to this. Its wrong to lie about a familys business. These guys stay late after hours and never take a lunch to take care of their customers. Spreading false claims to help your buddys shop is just morally wrong. Like the bible says, You reap what you sow think of that as you are Travellin and making false claims.

Excellent service these guys have tinted windows in two vehicles for me. They have also installed a Rockford Fosgate sound system in my present vehicle. Ill definitely go back for more work when I need it.

I had my windows on my truck tinted by the owner whos name is Will. First visit went good He tinted my sides and rear windows. I asked him to do the top of windshield down to the legal limit line about 6 inches from the top. After he did the windshield I notice that the middle portion of the windshield tint was only down about 3 inches. Will the owner told me that because of the curve of the glass thats the only way to do it. I have since had another company tint the top of the windshield with even coverage all the way across. It seems Will was to lazy to do the windshield in 2 pieces to have it come out correctly.A week after Custom Affects tinted my windows I notice numerous small bubbles in the 2 front windows. I called Will and he said bring it in and he will redo the tint. A couple of days after he removed and replaced the tint on the 2 front I noticed a 2-3 inch spot on the corner of both windows where the tint did not set properly. In my opinion it appears the glue from the tint he removed was not cleaned off the window properly and caused the problem. I called Will the owner and told him about the unsatisfactory work he did and he became very defensive and rude with me and said to bring the truck in and he would look at it and redo the tint. I told him that I did not want him to do the tint a third time and possibly waste my time again with his bad attitude and less than acceptable craftsmanship. I said that I want a partial refund because now I have to pay someone else to remove the tint and reapply new tint correctly. At that point Will the owner told me he is not giving me a partial refund and not to bring my truck to him and then hung up on me.Horrible way to treat a paying customer. Strongly suggest avoiding the people at Custom Affects in Midland, TX

If i could give a lower rating i would. I took my truck that i bought brand new last year to get the windows tinted last Monday 8/10/15 and on one of the windows there was a brown spot under the tint so i took back and the owner Will said that it was already there under the factory tint which is BS cause i would have noticed as big as it was so he ended up replacing the tint but was mad that he had to. A couple of days later i noticed i had dirt and little trash in the rest of the tint so i called and asked if i could get it replaced since it wasnt there before and he lost it saying that the brown spot in the first window was there and i was gonna have to pay if i wanted the rest fixed which even if i was to get fixed i would have to take off of work and lose even more money than the 200 i paid because he wont work with your schedule and besides all that i got 5% limo tint on back windows and my rear window you can see through dont think he used limo tint because if he did since my back windows are tinted glass i wouldnt be able to see through with 5% on top of that. I also find it funny that after i tell him Im gonna leave a bad review two other reviews come up saying that it is a good placed to get tinted theyre even similar in what they say in my opinion they are fake reviews. I only wish i would have read the other bad review before i took my truck there because custom affects is scandalous.

This is my go to shop for all my auto accessory needs not just window tint! Will has always treated me right. Ive taken several hunting jeeps to them for light bars and stereo equipment and Ive never had any issues! I even blew one of the speakers and he replaced it free of charge. Will has tinted every truck I have owned. Right now he is adding tint, side steps, a bed cover, bed carpet, racing stripes, and floor mats on my new truck. Like I said I wouldnt go anywhere else for my auto accessory needs!

TERRIBLE, ABSOLUTYLEY TERRIBNLE, nothing but attitude .. the guy who set up the appointment cokmpletley forgot we had one even tho he hadseen what we have, pulled our sub boxes out on to a WET FLOOR, and was rude the entire time . Dont waste your time going here . P.s. If you want customers dont treat them like garbage...

Tint lasted less than 2 months before it started bubbling and tearing. Was told it was warrantied. They wanted same cost to fix. Owner was completely rude and untrustworthy.
