Lunch specials are amazing! Five stars is not enough to properly rate Tall City Meat Market. The food is amazing! The staff is friendly and very helpful. Very cool rustic Texas atmosphere inside as well.I will definitely eat here again when I am in Midland.

Tall City Meat Market is superb! They have a great selection of meat (other stuff too) and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They will customize anything you need with a smile. I love this place, heading over this afternoon for meat to make my Saturday special.

The cooked food that they have for lunch hours is really good bbq!!👌🏼The raw meat and cuts are pretty good too just a little expensive.. prices are higher than anywhere else in town.. So if you are looking for fancy cuts and top shelf meat quality and dont mind paying the extra money then this is the perfect place!!. You gotta try it!

Their new restaurant section is delicious and reasonably priced for the large portions. The selections of meat for sale is also quite good.

You can’t go wrong with anything here. Our favorites are the delmonicos, chicken wings, and boudin. The lunch plates they started serving are absolutely great!

Ordered 40 Ribeye steaks, pinto beans, potato salad and banana pudding for company lunch and everyone was impressed with everything. The Ribeye was so tender and delicious they will blow your mind! Michael was really helpfull and stayed open a little late to make sure he provided for his customers. I am so excited to dig into the fajita meat I picked up. A cursory examination of the packaged cuts he had in the cooler yeilded soft, relaxed steaks. Fresh cuts being sold out which is why he was staying late to cut more for a few customers.The only thing I can find to say about this meat market is it has ruined me for supermarket meat. They also carry some more exotic meats like prebreaded alligator.

I bought a number of sirloins. Was not impressed. I’m a SIRLOIN only. To much gristle. I expected to be tender based on the word of the seller. I would rate this meat as the meat at LOWES market. Will not buy again.

A truck full of friends and family raced against the clock to make it to a competitor of Tall City Meat Market one Saturday afternoon. Afraid of being 1-2 minutes late called and enthusiastically explained their history of customer loyalty, politely asking that the doors be kept open for an extra couple minutes, promising they knew exactly what was wanted and would be in & out in no time. The cashier, while smacking her gum in the phone, rudely said “I don’t know, talk to the manager;” to which his response was “look man, doors close at 2pm. If you’re here by then, great, if not, it is what it is” followed by a dead line. Adamant on grilling they continued on, watching the clock closely. Approaching an unfamiliar business they were slowly able to make out “Tall City Meat Market”.We were greeted with big smiles and gratitude. We throughly enjoyed our Kobe Beef steaks that night and, I for one, found my new meat market- Tall City Meat Market.

In town from Austin, decided too make a last minute super bowl run before heading back today.Walking into the shop (clean and fresh) I received great service, was met at the door with a smile and handshake (rare it seems these days). Awesome!Aside from the warm welcome received, I was excited to see a wide spread of product (from beef / pork / seafood / poultry to cool specialty items like blueberry jalapeño popper) pretty excited to try these!The prices are SIGNIFICANTLY lower than other local shops I have used in the past. Stop in and ask to try the green salsa (might be addicted now).Great shop! Will be ordering from Austin for now on.
