Ice cream was really good, customized it myself. El chubra canes ice cream, strawberry sauce, marshmallow cream, bananas, and graham crackers. Was very good.

My husband and I went here for a date night last week and have already been back for round two with guests! I got the black gold flavor both times because its the best! Its light and delicious, plus, its feels like Midland. The atmosphere is fun with games at the table and great music playing. You should definitely go. And then go again. We plan on going back to try other flavours and their fudge because it looks so yummy!!

My kids and I had a great experience here! Great ice cream flavors and fun toppings. The cornbread and black gold are amazing and 100% get the vanilla cream soda it’s delicious! The macarons were amazing as well and the games are a great touch!

Friendly and helpful staff. Large selection of cleverly concocted and cutely named west texas themed ice creams that are made on site. Also, we were sitting next to a box of local produce 👍 all of the flavors we tried were delicious. Highly recommend.

The ice cream is all homemade and tasty. They dont have a huge selection of flavors but are locally owned by a sweet couple that you will find there most times. They also have things like homemade fudge, candy, cookies, milk shakes (dairy and dairy free) and drinks.The girls working the night my wife and I went in were adorable and when I asked them how many scoops they could get on one cone they happily did their best to find out. They did an amazing job and the ice cream and fudge is priced pretty well, definitely comparable to other shops like Baskin Robbins but they are a mom and pop shop which I like. Only issue we ever have is that they are sometimes out of Caliche flavor.

I really like the ice cream and fudge! The seating is a little limited but would have been fine being able to sit outside on a warmer day. We just took ours home since all of the seats were taken. Other than that it was great!

This is the place to come for the best ice cream in Midland. They make all of their own flavors and I especially enjoy the Black Gold ice cream I also enjoy the roasted peach. They also do floats and sundaes. If that is not sweet enough you can get some of their homemade fudge.

We ordered a banana split with strawberry cheesecake and the turtle cheesecake, and a turtle cheesecake hot chocolate with fudge topping 😍😍😍😍 My hips and scale are going to yell at me later, all I can say, worth it!! I enjoy the flavors with a local twist for names, and I definitely will try the fudge next time.

Its kind of hit or miss on service. Sometimes the ladies are especially nice and helpful other times it shows your just being rushed out. Always go back because of ice cream quality is usually amazing and tasty.

I have a severe food allergy to all types of soy. That means I very rarely get to enjoy commercial ice cream - it almost always has soy lecithin or soy oil. Both can cause an anaphylaxis reaction requiring an Epipen and ER visit. Finding this small batch, natural, locally sourced ingredient ice cream was a joy.The manager (owner?) was incredibly helpful in figuring out which flavors they had that were soy free and safe for me to eat. She was patient and I very much appreciated her attitude and patience!!The lavender honey ice cream was amazing! Soft, delicate flavors that felt like West Texas spring. The texture was smooth and creamy and no hard, freezer burn spots at all. It wasnt too soft or too frozen. We will definitely be back!

I went here today to get ice cream for the first time. One of my friends ordered a root beer float and they said they didnt have vanilla so she got ice cream instead, they also had there hair down and could of easily had hair go into the ice cream. Also we heard some one ask for vanilla ice cream they had some out if a machine, I didnt understand why my friend couldnt get that ice cream for her root beer float I guess they didnt want to.

The ice cream here is excellent, and its served alongside a large assortment of desserts and classic candies that might pique your interest and keep you coming back to try new things for quite some time.But, what makes Fountain Ville truly shine is their outstanding customer service. Ive never gone there since theyve opened that I wasnt greeted with a bright smile. When I order, I never feel rushed, and samples are provided generously.I always feel welcome and like Ive received the attention of a good host. Often when I leave, I feel the warm glow of a positive interaction. It makes me feel like I have somewhere to invite my own friends and guests to. Ive never had a bad experience because of the good service here.

This place is super nice and the ice cream taste good they have different flavors and the prices are pocket friendly. The staff just need to be more friendly because we didn’t receive warm welcome when we visited it straight face although from the staff with the fact that we told them it was our first visiting

So second time around I found that this place was quite enjoyable. I think they have improved since the last time I was here. My family was overtaken by the black gold ice cream and we instantly fell in love. Lots of their flavors are good ways to try new things. They have classic flavors too, but this shop excels in thinking outside of the box. The staff was super helpful and friendly. This place will be more of a frequent stop for now on.

Yummy! This place has good fresh ice cream and a nice vibe. My favorites are Hummingbird (lavender flavor) and Cookie Monster (light blue vanilla with soft baked cookies mixed in). Chocolate is good too.

They offer a lavender honey frozen treat (non dairy ice cream). I was shocked at how wonderful my shake turned out. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. They even let you sample first!!

Wanted to try a couple of places out before moving and this was one of them, came out from monahans to try. I got the splitsville with black gold and sandstorm topped with hot fudge and walnuts in a waffle bowl. Pretty delicious. I recommend.

Their flavours are amazing and always receive great customer service. My husband and I stop by almost every weekend.. but the thing is: they are not very consistent with their flavours; they seem to always run out or not have my husbands favourite flavours. It happens quite often unfortunately, and my husband leaves very very disappointed every time.

I absolutely love their ice cream! It’s a great consistency and and never too sweet. They also always have new flavors that you could never find anywhere else. They also make great fudge!

Great Ice cream

We had such a fantastic experience this evening at Fountainville! The lady who helped us was so knowledgeable about every single product. She gave us samples of everything and had great conversation to follow. We planned on leaving with our treats to enjoy at home, but we stayed to enjoy our dessert there to continue with the good conversation. She blessed our depart at the door and welcomed us back. We will absolutely be returning!

We were looking for good ice cream in Midland and went to Fountainville. After serving one of the cups and digging into the ice cream, we discover a long blond human hair. We return the cup and they removed the hair and handed us the same ice cream. Disgusting!!! Zero hygiene!! Well never go back.

Fountainville is THE BEST ice cream shop I have ever been to. The staff is amazing and knowledgeable. I always feel so welcomed by the owners, who put their heart and soul into what they do. Their ice cream is phenomenal!! The owners are phenomenal! We invited them to our wedding, and they surprised us and our guests with icecream and served it!!!!! Fountainville is the best!!!!!

This place is fantastic! Creative flavors, all made from scratch with natural ingredients. They truly have a passion for what they do. I love how they create west Texas themed flavors. Their staff is fun and kind and we always enjoy our time there.

All of their ice cream is made in house. My daughter loves the fact that they will give samples of all their new flavors, have to limit her to three or four samples or she would just sit there trying all of them. My favorite is to get their Texas peach ice cream and turn it into a shake, it taste like Im drinking a peach cobbler. My daughter likes the lavender flavored ice cream. Last time we were there they had some eggnog flavored ice cream that was just fantastic.

Best local ice cream place around. You can tell the owners put a lot of pride, love, and effort into their product and all of the ice cream is made in-house. The Texas Black Gold (ice cream with activated charcoal) is some of the most original and delicious ice cream Ive ever had. They also sell classic candies and homemade fudge, which is great for gift and cold days when the ice cream might not be as appealing.

Delicious ice cream. Many different flavors to choose from.(10 or so). You can either get a waffle bowl or cone. If neither just chooses a cup or various sizes. Also they have multiple choices for toppings as well. They can also make floats. Dont be shy just ask for anything and they can make it.

The waffle cones can be dipped and decorated with many different toppings (including Lucky Charms and Fruity Pebbles) at no additional cost. This ice cream is so good!! A couple of years ago, a friend brought some all the way to Austin for me to eat!! Like seriously packed up 5 pints in different flavors, in a cooler and made the drive!! It was amazing!!

Stoped in about a year ago, with the family. A homemade ice cream with a twist on the original flavors. I had a shake, the others had ice cream. All I can say is it was more than enough and took me about an hour to finish my shake. I loved it and everything was fantastic. I hope to go back when Im down for a while longer.

Best Ice Cream Ive ever had and the experience there is superb. Its fun to hang around outside listening to music while the kids play and eat ice cream. Fun memories.

At this moment I am extremely disappointed with this establishment and it seems that you cant even go to a old time favorite ice cream parlor and not be greeted with a minimal amount of hospitality. I am fully aware of where I live and the reputation this town has for general appreciation of one another but when my son, a newly diagnosed diabetic walks into an establishment to one not only be a paying patron but two to have the ability to walk into a hometown business to be disrespected for a simple request. He asks do you have any sugar free ice cream only to responded with we dont believe in anything sugar free here. Now to some that may not be that big of a concern but to someone that is now having to live thier life every day depending upon an injection to keep them alive such responses from an insensitive employee can be crushing. I can not in any good sense give this business anything more than one star. I have had ice cream from here. I do love the originality of it. I dont ever share my opinion on platforms such as this but under the circumstance I feel just cause I hope the owners do read this and I hope they understand. If this is how me or my family will be received we can no longer be customers of Fountainville Creamery

I was not please at all today when i went by this ice cream shop.2-15-19 So i ordered a banana split and it was only ice cream and 2 slices of banana with a little chocolate drizzled over it. I am like what is this. I didnt say anything to the workers in there because they are only told what the business owners tell them to do. Its not their fault. But also just a little ice cream banana split and a glass of tea was $13.00 and it was nothing but some ice cream with a banana. I could have went down to Sonic and had a very good banana split for half the cost but have all the correct ingredients. I feel like the owner of this company should pull the Betty Crocker recipe book down off the shelf and learn how to make a banana split. I suppose everything else in the store is like this. I will just use Baskin Robbins the next time.

The best ice cream in town!!! The fact that they make it all from scratch here in Midland, from mostly local ingredients, is a bonus. Black gold, tumbleweed, and other creative menu offerings make them a great place to take out of town guests, and the fudge (also made in house) is a great gift.
