Went with the family after visiting the local caves. we came in the afternoon and had some chips, pizza, and a few pints. our hosts were incredibly accommodating and we ended up having a great time. at very reasonable prices too. i think they only recently reopened, as they said we were the first americans they’ve seen since the ‘rona.
If you want an Irish atmosphere this is a place. Lovely friendly staff. They went out of their way to help us and show us around. They were closed for the season but still invited us in. This is the image if Ireland we need people to see. We will be back and give further information.
Cant recommend this place enough. Lovely, quaint Family run shop with first class pint and superb food. Well worth a visit after a trip to The Caves o Keash and its info center outside pub. I WILL be back as often as possible.
Beautiful pub
Excellent food, excellent spot after a nice walk to the caves!! Staff are very nice and welcome!! Will go back again!!

A place i keep going back too! Excellent food everytime, service is outstanding and very friendly! Kids are always made feel important! Highly recommend to anyone! You will not be disappointed.
Called in here after visiting the Caves of Keash at lunchtime on a Monday and even though they werent actually serving food, the friendly lady behind the bar made some toasted sandwiches and goujons/sausages and chips which were all delicious. After we finished our food, we got a look at the cottage next door which is just fantastic. Id highly recommend a visit to the Foxs Den and we will be back soon!
Amazing food, friendly staff, old booze! Nice little shop next to it and when they have an event on is usually good! A recommend visit to any one passing by
Thr place was packed but we got a small table in a back room. Unfortunately this was right beside a leaky window where I got dripped on periodically. The food was good pub fare though so a good meal was had. I really enjoed the mussels that available in main meal size.
Warm and friendly welcome. Great food. Ideal spot for touring.
Great service. Delicious food. Family friendly.
Wonderful dinner and great service. It is such a treat to eat here, with Peter as chef and Patrick and Nicky looking after us. Tonight had sweet potato and thyme soup to start. Delicious, perfectly seasoned. Husband had the smoked trout fishcakes and loved them. My entree was salmon en croute with baby spinach and rockette. Pesto sauce, too. Extra added attraction are the Lough Gill craft beers. So good!
Love this place check out the cottage next door great

A very interesting place. There is a house showing how the Irish lived 100 years ago - such a mini museum and a pub. 2 km from this place interesting caves in the hills. It is difficult for me to assess whether there is bus service here. A great host Pat who talks about many interesting things from the history of the region.
When we went the restaurant was closed, yet the owner opened it so we could go to the bathroom and still showed us his beautiful work, a replica of the early Irish house. Really very kind.
Delicious food, beautifully presented. Nice and fast service.
Delicious burgers and hospitable staff!
