It is a really good store and it had Mexican cheese and more items

I usually only go here for my prescriptions! Their pharmacy is very affordable! I do love how they have a great seleccion of Mexican condiments and food! Great place for Mexican candy and Piñatas too! I wouldnt say their produce and meat are the freshest out there though! I also like that they carry a lot of Mexican products as well! They also rent carpet cleaning machines so thats good to know & they have a Western Union!Not bad.... but I will keep going to HEB for my groceries & to Supermercado for my Prescriptions!

Im tired of going in here and employees arent properly trained. Again i went in this morning and thught i had enough for what i was buying but came out a little short. There was a very nice gentleman behind me that offered to pay for what i was gonna have to put back but cashier didnt know how to charge the card then charge another form of payment . Now i tried to explain to her how to do it because unfortunately i use to work there and at other stores here in Midland but she just said she couldnt do it and basicly just stood there staring at me so her being the only cashier the line started ro get longer and i just told her to forget it . This shoudnt happen .its basic cashier training that apparently ownership cant provide. GO FIGURE...

Ok so im being accused by Ownership and management from this store for writing a bad review (WHICH I DIDNT) and they will no longer hire me . I guess they never heard of the RETALIATION labor law. Which is no surprise from what iVE seen at Super. I totally agree with the bad reviews that were given . I agree with every word. I was going almost everyday asking for a job because all the employees would say how much help they needed. And everyday the manager AT THE TIME would say he would let me know because i am very experienced so i would go next day and he would say No they dont need any help. So after many attempts to get job here manager finally told me that he was told by HIGHER UPS that do not hire me because i wrote a bad review(WHICH AGAIN I DIDNT..UNTIL NOW)..GO Figure . SO ITS A SHAME THIS IS THE ONLY STORE AROUND HERE BECAUSE I TRULY BELIEVE THE OWNERSHIP IS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES. So SUPER MERCADO KEEP YOUR JOB AND U KNOW WHAT U CAN DO WITH IT........

Amazing supermarket they do carry a lot of Mexican products at decant and well organized and everyone willing to help there I really like to see this market will help me a lot for my cooking

I just left here and none of the employees are wearing masks or gives or doing any social distancing. I asked two managers and one said I’m mostly in my office so I’m safe and the other just looked at me. Beware. This place does not care about its customers or they would be doing at least the minimum to protect their patrons.

I went there a few days ago (last resort because no one has any thing) and theyre pricey plus they said they werent going to honor their sale prices. I take this as price gouging and benefitting off of other peoples pain and needs. The lady that checked me out also dropped some of my produce on their floor, which is filthy. she didnt bother to offer me new produce, nothing. Plus, the corona is going around so its important to keep everything as clean and sanitized as possible.

For someone who works there, there are quite a bit of problems with the store, the management, and some health concerns. It is a better place for high schoolers to work since the pay is around $9-$11 an hour with biweekly wait, not a good idea for those needing to pay bills. The management doesnt do much for its employees since they are more focused on prophet, this includes the corporate manager there. The security is so bad that people can take things and since there is no security. To make it worse, a manager is required to remove any shoplifters from what i heard. Sometimes the place will try to throw a fast one by changing your time without telling you or informing you before hand as someonr who worked there part time has gone from about three 6 or 8 hours of those days to just two 6 hour days. To make this worse they are always selling expired goods, including meats that are marked doen and half the time molded. Not to mention there is quite a bit of dust around the store with webs. To make some stuff worse, some of the meat market people dont wear beard nets which can get on the products if not careful. I swear the place feels corrupt or ghetto to the point it isnt worth the time and money working at such a place. However there are quite a bit of nice employees and such working there but the health and safety of the place makes it worse. And to finally put the cherry on top, some people would either smoke in the bathroom or talk in there,(this includes an employee or two that has been seen). However most of the employees are nice but few only speak Spanish,this includes customers if you plan to work, so it may be best to learn English and Spanish or just say you dont speak that language.

Great sale prices,***out of the chicken breast that were on sale!!! Otherwise store was clean and well stocked.

Im an ex employee and just want to say this is the worst Company I have ever worked for. Im Hispanic but my Spanish is not so great (growing up here in Midland) and that was held against me. The meat market guys have beards and no beard guards. I found hairs in my meat and brought it to the managers attention and even after that they still dont have beard guards. They knowingly put expired meat out to sale and the flies and mosquitoes are rampant back there in meat department. My mother use to shop there but after seeing how dirty that store is we have to make the trip to HEB or Walmart now which is a shame. One better know Spanish if u have to ask an employee a question there, if not u better hope there is someone around that does speak english or ur just SOL. Never mind asking for management they barely know English too and nothing is ever done hence the hair in meat.

Only giving one star because the beef chorizo had maggots. Be very cautious of the chorizo and always double check.
