The ladies at the checkout area are some of the nicest people you could meet. And theres always an employee floating around the store who asks me if I need any help. Ace definitely gives more of a personal and friendly touch to their store vs other big box home stores where youd have better luck finding a leprechaun than an employee to help you.

Amazing staff. One worker helped me find the lightbulb I needed and another one helped me find where the pet supplies were. Very friendly atmosphere and I would absolutely return for the excellent service.

Had a plumbing issue, was welcomed and helped by Steve who was very informative and got me everything I needed for the job. You definitely cannot get this type of service at the big box stores. Ace is definitely the place!

Very helpful ladies, I went in to pick up doughnuts I had ordered. Two women were putting them together, they did a great job in a timely manner and kept apologizing because, as the gal that takes care of the counter called in sick, they were doing their best to take care of people. They were fantastic, and working very hard.

Huge hardware store with every nut and bolt there is.

We needed a backup key for my daughters car and the man at the key counter was very helpful and found the right key, set it all up and we were good to go. Great service.

The kiddos and I go to movies on main here. Wednesday nights, its free, bring some lawn chairs and snacks and watch a good family friendly movie. Great way to spend some family time. Ace hardware keeps the store partially open for restroom access as well as popcorn and candy sales

This is a great place in Midland. They have great selection of hardware plus anything else you need. From garden supplies to paint to housewares. Yes that’s right Ace is the Place. Support local hardwares. This is a much better alternative to big box stores. Try them out today. It’s spring, I bought some new rakes to rake my yard, I love them!

Bought nuts and bolts. Check out said I had to tell the individual cost of each item. Had to literally walk back an take note the price of each item and write it down. I guess they dont care about customers who only spend $3 in parts.

Everyone I met was cordial and willing to help. The quality of retail is firmly grounded in the employees and not the products alone. Ace is the place... or something like that.

Friendly and helpful. One of the employees remembered my mother from her younger days that was nice to hear. They got my dads wood splitter motor working again and ready for pick up didnt take long at all.

They had my favorite snack and a treat for my dog.

Just got a screen replaced into a frame of mine. A guy named Granzo did it for me. This man deserves a promotion, or the very least a pay raise! Dude got me in & out within 20 mins. Talked me into getting donuts up front while I waited. Donut Happy Hour. All my donuts were only $1!Little wins like this make me come back to places. 🍩 🏠

Best Paint Store in the Trip Cities!

So friendly and helpful here. Not sure Ive spent more than 5-10 minutes in there when Im looking for stuff projects since their experts can usually make a recommendation or take me to exactly what I need.

The service is great, definitely the place to go if you have questions. Prices are a bit higher than the big box stores but you can get in and out faster and the service is much better.

Needed staples for an old Ace Hardware Swingline stapler. Store associate worked to find what he thought was appropriate part. I bought it, went home and found it wasnt the right staples. Returned to store and another associate looked through stock. No luck. Picked up new Stanley stapler and staples. Returning wrong staples was no hassle.

Took my grandfathers antique table lamp in for repairs. Terry did a great job of getting it in working condition in just a couple days. Everyone in the store was p!easant and helpful. This store is amazing and my lamp is beautiful again.

My mother got an electronic deadbolt lock fixed here and it only cost her 15 dollars. They did a great job, and threw in a couple extra keys for free. Id recomend this place to anyone looking to get a lock repaired and any hardware needs.

Today was my first time at this store. I just wanted to buy a shopping cart. When I saw that, I liked but I had to assemble it. Almost gave up buying, until this young man, an employee offered me help. I asked him that I would buy only if he could assemble that for me. Very kind, he immediately started putting that together. Every time I have gone into the store I have always been greeted and asked if I needed help. The cashiers are always friendly and the paint associates are more than helpful. I can ask advice and get educated suggestions and answers.Went in today (July 25 2018 @2:30) and three separate people asked if I needed assistance. The gentleman in the paint dept helped greatly and the young, female cashier is pleasant and very customer oriented. I come back often because of them.

Usually able to find more helpful advice than a Home Depot or Lowes. Their sales are sometime even better than those bigger stores and they can always order an item if they dont happen to have it in stock.Also, go above and beyond to help customers inside and outside the store. Very helpful and friendly employees. Wish there was more of a selection but it is a smaller store :) Small carts for toddler size kids to push around. And toddler sized baskets. At the register they have suckers for your little as well 😉 😁

Excellent help there. One customer was taking here dear sweet time holding up the registers but they called for plenty of back up. Nice to see help arrive for aa change. This store has been a fixture in Midland for as long as I can remember. Go on in and shop!
