My hot water heater had went out. And I found that it had a small leak in the bottom of it. I scheduled with Lowe’s to have it replaced. They emailed me within 48hrs canceling my appointment for contract service to check out and install a new one. Called D&D plumbing and a they were at my home within 2hrs with a new hot water heater and had it installed within 1hr. The plumber was very courteous and professional. And did a good job on the install. I couldn’t have ask for better service and would recommend them to anyone. Thank’s guys!

I called them out a couple months ago. I had a water leak. They came on a Saturday and sent two guys. They both said they were stumped and had absolutely no idea what caused the leak and if it came back to call them back out here. Well it leaked again so I called another company. They came out and within an hour had it fixed. They immediately knew what caused it. I called D and D back to discuss the matter. I was told several times a supervisor would call me back. Never got the call. Meanwhile I’m out close to $200 for a job they weren’t apparently qualified to resolve. Would not recommend them unless you already have the issue diagnosed and need someone with basic skills to repair it

The service technician was very pleasant over all. I would have given him 5 stars, as my main sewer line was very clogged, it had to be hydro jetted and he stated that that service was warranted. He showed up earlier than expected, which is a good thing. Once the sewer line was unclogged and cleaned he came about the bill. I asked about the warranty and he called his supervisor and there was no warranty for that service. Im glad he got the sewer line cleared and he was very nice, but no need to say there is a warranty when there is not one. I would still use them again. I know plumbing services are expensive and I think most people do. Just dont state as fact something that isnt true.

They do not service East Midland. When you call for plumbing service no one responds to your service request or even comes to this side of Midland. I wonder how they even got the silver award for best plumbing service in the Midland Reporter-Telegram? 🤔

Recently purchased a home with relatively newer A/Cs, but we felt the may have been undersized for the square footage. We called D&D and they came out later the SAME DAY to do an initial assessment.Despite the units being less than 4 years old, we were prepared to replace them. Well, the sales consultant informed us that the units were truly top-of-the-line variable speed units, and that instead of replacing them (to the tune of likely 15K-18K each, he suggested that we probably needed a zoned system instead (because variable speed units are designed to be zoned).We agreed to move forward, and the work was scheduled within a couple days. The two guys re-did all the duct work and added zoning over a 3 day period (a big job), and we werent without A/C at any time during this.Happy to report, that no only is the house cooler, and are temps more consistent, but that were using about 15kw less per day on electricity too.

Came the same day I called for water pipe repairs and stayed until they had it fixed. Very nice and professional young men! Was very satisfied with the service I received!

Mike was able to come within about 2 hours. He unclogged our drains and explained all that was going on. Office staff was really professional, too.

Prompt and friendly but incredibly expensive!! Four dripping faucets cost $750. They always have to leave to get supplies and can be gone for 30 - 45 minutes. I think this is included in hourly cost!

After hassling with my home warranty about a leaking water heater and them assigning me a plumber that didn’t even show up to the appointment (a-1 rooter and plumbing services) I decided to just pay out of pocket because I couldn’t wait a week for them to send someone else. Called D&D and they were prompt with their call back and had someone out the same day. Had to pay a hefty amount of course for a new water heater but the service was well worth it.

Installed by Ray with the assistance of Noah. Completed the task in about 45 minutes as he had estimated. Ray was very knowledgeable, affable, and seemed quite intelligent. He explained everything in detail prior to starting so that I understood my options. He represented D&D Plumbing very well. I would not hesitate to use them again.

D&D came out to look at my AC unit in the summer of 2020 and stated the whole unit needed to be replaced for a cost of $3k+. The technician even had me speak with his manager on the phone about replacing the unit. I had done some research prior and asked the technician to try replacing the capacitor. He replaced the capacitor and the AC started working without any issues. I would definitely get a second opinion if they tell you there are major issues. The capacitor ended up not lasting a year and I was informed that a cheap part was used. I would strongly suggest looking at other options.

We had sitting water in one of our bedrooms Sunday night. We received a call first thing Monday morning from D&D that they could come out to my home Tuesday. They didn’t make it Tuesday but were there first thing Wednesday morning. This review is being written same day as service and we are very pleased with the experience. We feel they found and made repairs promptly. The price was very fair. They said they guarantee their service so we are very satisfied with the entire process. They do not repair walls but did recommend someone who could help us with repairs to walls and carpet.

Very fast and friendly service. Called after hours and they came within 20min. my tech replaced my wax seal on toilet and unclogged my main line, all was done fast. I will be using them again if I need too.

When our AC (not originally worked on by D&D) starting leaking through our ceiling at 1130 pm on Friday, D&D was the only company that had someone on call who could come out. Wayne was prompt, professional and friendly. Unfortunately he could not fix our problem, but put as a priority call for Monday. Monday we got word that they would come first thing Tuesday Morning.The crew arrived on time, professional and prompt. They fixed an issue that our builder and original HVAC company had jacked up THREE times. They fixed our AC RIGHT and QUICKLY and for a VERY reasonable price ....10/10 Would use OVER and OVER again!

I used D&D Plumbing, Heating and Air to repair my central heater. It was brutally cold this week. The service guy came out same day I called. Thank God. He evaluated the system, listened to my concerns, and answered all my questions. He was knowledgeable and well informed. He was honest, gave me options for repairs, and informed me what it would cost. Fortunately the issue was easy to repair. It only took an hour. I will definitely use them again and recommend them.

Plumber tried to replace a broken shower head, but hes going to have to look for one that matches & order new one. I paid $135.00For the visit & will be charged again for the new head & also for the time it takes to put it on. It will be weeks before the new head comes in. Plumber left bathtub all wet and dirty--- dont appreciate that!

I had a leak around the flue pipe coming out of the roof during a stormy week and the D&D team quickly came and took care of it. They were on time, very professional, and got the job quick such that the sealant can cure before the rain began again. Wish I was given the option to dispose of water heater instead on my own of being charged $72 for it. I am a single mom and spent $980 and that was my college money. So now I have to wait another semester to go.

The workers were on time and they were friendly once I showed them what I needed done they went straight to work. They completed the job in a timely manner and cleaned up after they were done. They also unclogged my AC drain line that I did not know was clogged.

D&D was recommended and had high reviews so I called them to test my gas system to get the gas turned back on. The tech did a fine job but I couldnt believe they charged 1.5 hours at $135/hr to conduct a 15 minute pressure test. Called to complain and they ended up refunding 0.25 hrs but that was it. They checked the trucks GPS but thats not helpful when the tech sits in their truck for 20 min before and after the job, and stays around to chat for a long time after the work was completed. Extremely disappointed.

My issue was lighting my pilot on my Kenmore water heater. Before the technician even came to my house he called and was honest enough to tell me that, since Sears is no longer in business, he may or may not be able to fix my water heater because of availability of parts. He let me know that there were remedies that he could try with no guarantee that they would work. I truly appreciated his honesty before even coming to my house and incurring a bill for something that may or may not work. I was able to make the decision about whether or not to have him come to my house.I decided to let him come if for no other reason but to give me a diagnosis. He was nothing but professional the whole time. He kept checking his time to make sure I didn’t incur unnecessary labor cost related to time. I really appreciated Dwain Rotan. Unfortunately his remedy didn’t work, but he left me with options to weigh. I will certainly be calling him back out once I decide what I want to do.

Our heat & cool system stopped working and we were afraid wed have to drop a bunch of money to fix what might have been a dumb, simple problem. The tech who spoke with me gave me a quote, but also gave me a few tips to help me look into the problem myself. Thats remarkable professionalism.I ended up not even needing the tech because his advice was spot-on. That kind of honesty, though, goes a long way. Id recommend them to anyone simply because they seem to prioritize solving the problem over their bottom line.

I called today to set up preventative services and they were able to send me a technician on the same day to check our heating units and prep them for the Fall season. I called for AC service at 6pm on a Wednesday and was told I would be put on the schedule by the answering service for Thursday. Thursday morning 9am I received confirmation from the office a tech would be out that day. I called back 12pm, 3pm, 5pm to be told by office staff they were very busy and a tech would call when they were on their way. Still no sign of anyone calling or coming. I receive a call from a tech at 10pm that I was not on his schedule, but there were two other techs out and I may be on their schedule. I called back 9pm and 11pm to talk to a RUDE (hag and some dude named Dan) answering service that told me they cant help me and said I wasnt on the schedule, they started cussing and proceeded to tell me to call back during business hours 8am-5pm. Whats the point of an answering service if they cant dispatch techs for emergency calls!? DND save your $ and get a 35$ answering machine from walmart and take the messages in the morning! At 11:30pm I called back the number the tech called from, a very nice man that apologized for the office and answering service scheduling debacle. He stated my address was never on his schedule. Needless to say DND is paying a lot of F*#% ups to do nothing. Give the tech a raise he seems to be the only cognizant employee with any customer service skills! Low and behold no one ever showed up. Call West Texas heating and cooling.

With the winter storm, our water softener unit froze and busted. I called and told them the situation and they were out to home within minutes to shut my water off. Due to being super busy they were not able to come out and repair the leak until the next day but were out first thing in the morning. The receptionist is extremely kind and so we’re the technicians. I would 10/10 recommend and will not go to any other plumbing company for future repairs. They’re awesome!

My water heater busted in the morning on day 5 of the horrible snow storm over Texas. I had to turn off my water to stop the flooding. A D&D employee came out immediately to give assistance then put me on the schedule to replace my water heat. Initially they told me they would try an come the next day due to the high volumes of calls they have had this week (500+). But I got a call just hours later that they were sending someone out to install the new water heater. They were wondering and spent diligent time taking out and installing the new water heater. I am so ever grateful for D&D plumbing. Amazing staff that were so kind and compassionate especially during a very stressful and demanding week.

We have lived in Midland since 2011. We have had multiple plumbing issues here in there as expected with homeownership. Whenever we have an issue we always call D and D plumbing. They are always courteous, respectful, on time, Reasonable and just kind. There are not many companies out there that have the same customer service as D and D plumbing. My wife called D&D to install a kitchen sink, the faucet, and the underneath plumbing. Whoever did the service call did not silicone the sink and the clips that came with the new sink, they only installed 3 of them and then they walked off with the rest. My wife called and spoke with a lady in the office and the lady said she would check on it and we have not heard back.. wont be using these guys again

Has a great experience with D&D. Thaddeus was awesome, fixed the problem quickly and provided good advice. I would definitely use the service again. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is they said between 8-12 and they didn’t arrive until after 2. The nature of this kind of work means that appointment windows may be compromised, but a phone call from dispatch could have fixed that.

Came out to check on leak that I thought I had. They were friendly and all, but turns out it stopped leaking for the meantime. They didnt step inside the house, did not use or unload any tools. I turned on water, checked a few things chatted with them for a few mins, maybe 15 mins. Was charged for a half hour. Nearly $70. I understand their time is valuable, just seemed excessive. $30, $35 would have been nice of them, and earn me as customer for being so fair. Anyway thats my personal opinion, and when it does leak again, I probably wouldnt call them, since I feel they were all about the money. In these times some times it means a lot when you help someone out. You gain their trust, and gain a lifetime customer. That call for the charge was from the office, 2 guys that came out were good, in fact I personally thought they kinda felt bad charging me. Home office said charge him 1/2 hour!

Woke up to our water heater flooding due to malfunction.. D&D technician was able to come take out old one and install a new one THE SAME DAY.. also the day before Thanksgiving. Zach made sure our drain was installed correctly to ensure the flooding wouldnt happen again! The gentleman who did the work, Mr. Stephen Joiner, did an outstanding job! He was fast, explained everything, and had our sink fixed perfectly in no time. My only issue was the company scheduled me for between 8am-12pm today (6/3/2020) but couldnt get to us till later. Not a huge problem but would recommend a notice that the professional will be later than originally scheduled. Ill still use and recommend D&D for all types of home services they perform, but I hope they will let me know in the future if theyll be late.
