Dropped two trailers here after a long trip. The guys were both helpful and professional- the first one at 4:45 before they closed and the second was in the pouring rain (sorry!). Very impressed with how fast, efficient, and friendly they were. Will use again. 😁

I’ve had a few bad experiences with this location in the past, but this past experience was a total 360 in the right direction. Anthony assisted on my initial visit and was extremely helpful and polite. He had a few issues out of his control and was swift and resolved the issue immediately.On my second visit the Manager Mr. Hill was extremely polite and helped me out, very understanding after a issue on my end.I will always continue to use this location. You know, when you live in a town where customer service is not good anywhere, you really appreciate the good experiences. This was one of my top 5 experiences I’ve had in this town for the 10 years that I’ve been here.Note to district managers, These guys should be commemorated and should teach their customer service skills, because they’re top notch and a lot of people could benifit!

Today we had the most amazing customer service experience getting a Uhaul trailer. The guys in the front, especially the general manager, were so awesome and gave us an over-the-top experience. I forgot my receipt and he literally chased us down the road to get us our receipt. They made the trailer rental experience seamless and easy. I would highly recommend using this location! Great service. 5 stars ⭐️
Always a terrible experience here. Customer service is non-existent. The people working here are very rude and treat you as though you are bothering them. The place was filthy. See the overflowing trash cans. The blankets didn’t come folded and clean. They were dirty and thrown in the back of the truck. That’s not Uhaul’s policy. I’m so grateful I’ll never need the services of this location ever again. I feel for anyone that has to do business with this location. Truly despicable.
I would give it 0 stars if I could. After two weeks of trying to get a trailer from them, I finally was able to. Then, when I went to return it the next morning. I had to wait till 8:15 for any of the employees to show up. Terrible uhaul. Cant recommend any less.
If you make a reservation here do not expect them to have it. Completely screwed up our 10 hour move no one apologized one person laughed and the other one shrugged and said “it is what it is”. They said they would have the trailer we confirmed 3 days later as if that was any kind of help.
Customer service isn’t really a priority here. The attendant Israel that is there was rude, impersonal, and clearly failed to respect my time getting to the airport, asking me to do very basic things like turning signals and brake pedals he could have easily done himself. Granted it’s Uhaul so don’t expect the red carpet and shining customer service from college-educated professionals, but some basic courtesy and respect at least. Feces flows downstream so sure their misery and poor service breeds from corporate abuse, but still: a smile and a how was your trip?

They are courteous Ill give them that. But if you ever want to get some propane never come to the store because Ive gone here I dont know how many times and theyve always use the same excuse that their manager just walked out that no one here is certified over and over and over and over again after I called the main office and they stated the only way you can work at a U-Haul with propane is by being certified as a propane handler...
I have used this company in Florida for both warehouse and truck rentals and I never had problems, this office the staff is unfriendly, if you do not have an online reservation they are unable to help you and once you do it (outside the establishment from your car) You stand in line again and if for some reason you are wrong they will not be understanding or try to help. the call center if it has good attention and they always try to solve it, the problem is this office.
I booked and confirmed a storage unit as part of a multi thousand dollar cross country move over 4 weeks in advance. When I arrived, not only was my unit not available, but their only suggestion was to try odessa. Completely unhelpful and rude. Will be reporting this location and lack of service/follow through to the highest corporate level possible. Completely unacceptable.
A simple courtesy call would of been nice!!! I had a reservation for 1 pm traveling from San Angelo to Midland but when I got there, they didn’t have my truck!!! They had 2 hours to call me ! I had to pay for movers to go with me and still out money! Their response was we can give you a $50 credit! The gas, time and paying help to load wouldn’t cover it. I will never do business with them again! I should of read the reviews before making a reservation

I got the text the day before saying they had my reservation and confirmed. Wednesday when I go to pick up the truck, they cant find it. I was there for over an hour again, while they talked on the phone figuring out where the truck went, etc, etc, blah blah blah. Finally they told me they had given the truck to someone else who had an earlier reservation. AND there were no other trucks in town or even close. Basically they UNITED AIRLINES me. That was just the beginning.I tried to work with them to figure out a way to get a truck because I was moving the Saturday, and using 3 evenings to finish packing and loading. The earliest they said they could have a truck was Saturday evening, really convenient since I was supposed to get one Wednesday. Well, I was gonna have a friend pick up a truck across state in Waco, bring it to me, then drive to where I was moving. THEY WERE GONNA CHARGE ME DOUBLE for moving an empty truck. ZERO consideration. The best they could do was Sorry man. That was it, they called the next customer.And also, that day I had a friend drop me off there, because I was supposed to get a truck to drive home. Instead I had to get a taxi to go home. Anyways, dont use this place. Go use any other truck rental place besides this one. Penske, Enterprise. or Budget. They might be a little more expensive, but itll save you a headache and a cab ride in the end.
New management needed. Never got a call or email back. When I went in person you could tell the employees are mistreated and unhappy in their work environment.
Bad experience first time came to get boxes bad bad bad service got one guy I guess that can fill propane???either not there or to lazy and says we are out of propane that was three different times bad attitudes will not come back again that is it I tried to give business but it’s like they don’t want as long as uhaul lets them get away with it they will do it!!!!Lazy and bad attitudes!!wasnt going to even give them a star but only way to leave review.😡😡
Terrible customer service. They overcharged me, but their printer has been out of ink for a month so I didnt get a receipt to know right away. The employee helping me was on his personal phone for at least half the time I was there and he didnt help me back up, hook up, or check the lights. I give two stars only because I got the trailer I needed and it worked fine. If you have another option, dont give this place your business.
This was a positive experience for me! John, Cujo and the a very nice young lady (Im sorry I didnt catch her name) were all very helpful. They arent just sitting around twiddling their thumbs they are all multi tasking from what I experienced was this is a very busy location they all handled it like Champs! I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance I highly recommend doing that. Keep up the good work lady and gentleman!!!!
Truly terrible customer service. I only went in to get some boxes and there was no one inside to help me. When she came back from the back she was on the phone the entire time.At one point she walked outside to investigate a car alarm...in the middle of ringing me up. She even had me wait for her as she spoke to what I assume was her daughters day care.Just really unprofessional overall.
5 STARS!! John and his crew are awesome. The bad reviews are just from the haters and problem people. I put 1100 miles on our uhual and was treated kindly and promptly. Returned it dirty as heck and was taken care of very well. He emailed me the receipt within 15 min as well. I would not hesitate to use this U-Haul location again! Thank you guys!
First I waited 10 min while hearing the employees in the back play their NBA 2K. Then finally received the trailer that I posted a pic of. It wasnt til the next morning I opened her up and found this mess. Please check your uahauls before leaving. I wont make this mistake again nor do business here again.
I am absolutely upset I rented a 24ft truck on 7/11:17 and retuned it the same day after hrs, only to wake up being charge over 800$. Called in and the woman said I travelled over 100 miles, which is impossible for the time range. So now I have to WAIT for the manager to call me back. Would not recommend at all...
Quincy is the real reason for 5 stars. He was incredibly patient and helpful on a very stressful moving day for us. We were able to correct our reservation for a truck instead of a trailer and he was more than accommodating.
The only place open past 5pm to fill a propane tank and they cant ever do it after 5pm I guess. So if you work and need propane good luck! 2 days in a row they told me they couldnt fill it. So they need to hire people who are capable of performing the services they claim to offer or not offer them!
Went in to buy boxes. I told him I wanted a certain size his response is thats those with attitude as if I was bugging him. So then I asked what price are those and he doesnt speak or anything just points at the sign hanging from the ceiling and shakes his head. So I finally get paid out and I go to grab the boxes and he snaps not those because it apparently wasnt the right stack. Not friendly at all. I really dont think any of them wanted to be there. This town used to be driven on friendly service so its sad to see companies allowing this kind of behavior. Wont ever go back.
Clean trailer with new-ish tires and working brakes. The trailer went highway speeds for hours with no swaying, and the hubs stayed cool. Courteous service, too. Very good! No waiting on pick-up or return, either.
If anyone shows up for work, youll be lucky.
Needed help with finding a truck to use for the day and the best help i got in the brief conversation was call the 1 800 number.
Never have anyone to fill propane or they are out. After 3:00 pm you cant get it because nobody is trained to do propane and the manager isnt worried about getting anyone trained.

I have had great service here before, but today they missed the mark by a mile. I went in and asked the woman behind the counter if they were installing hitches today (labor day) she said no because the hitch guy wouldnt be in until 2pm.So after two I asked? She said I needed to make a reservation through the 1-800 number. I cant make one with you? She just waved her head no because she never once looked up from the facebook page on her phone.Last time I stop in here.
Let us have our rental a day early, and extended our time by another day just because they had too many trucks on the lot. Great customer service!!
If it wasnt one of the very few places in town to get boxes...Constant computer problems, I actually purchased my boxes online while waiting in line because the registers werent working... was able to get my boxes after just 2 hours of standing there... go me! The guy with the dreads is actually pretty awesome (hence two stars) he tries to make sure everyone stays informed of whats going on. but most times understaffed (one person there and 8 people need help), slow computers (see above problem), cant get propane most times because theres no one to help you. its... yea... no bueno...
Would give no stars if I could. This was the worst experience I have ever had. We will never be using Uhaul again. I was charge way more money that what was in our contract. When talking with customer service I was told the general manager would contact me within 2 days and have yet to hear from anyone. This was over a week ago!!! DO NOT USE UHAUL, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY THAT ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!
Worst example of customer service I have ever experienced. Stood by counter 5 minutes no one around. Walked out back no one could be found. Stood there a few more minutes a female came inside walked past me and went in the office and closed the door. When she came out she was carrying a water bowl and filled it and went back into the office. Never got waited on and finally left. I went back home to Pecos Tx an hour and a half away and borrowed my brothers trailer.
Called in before refilling my propane tank, said they have propane. Some part time employee tells me nobody there is certified to fill propane other than the manager. I asked what time his manager leaves, he said 2:00 p.m. must. Dont waste your time with these jokers.

One of the guys is a muslim....very rude people.....actually it seemed it was hard for me to get noticed.....but the minorities had no problem getting service....and btw.....loud rap music about selling drugs(lots of cussing) and the smell of pot coming from the back of the shop....forget this place.....dont even try....but Im sure now Im a rascist and a bigot.The younger kid with the dreadlocks.....awesome guy....got me the service I needed.....but the other 3...are jokes....thank you kid with dreads.....you have awesome customer service skills....the jokes need to find new employment.....maybe municipal trash or trustee service at a county jail might fit them more appropriately. These people know they are the only moving place in town. They look at you like you are a burden to their lives for asking about a rental truck. Definetely needs new management. Customers shouldnt be made to feel like a burden. We are paying you Uhaul. I hope corporate Uhaul sees these reviews and does a revamp at this store. If I could rate less than a one, I would. This Uhaul location does not deserve business.

The last time I used u-haul was back in 2009 (in Austin) and their systems/processes were a complete disaster back then. I must say that I think theyve improved their systems but even so they are still very bad. Really its not rocket science and good systems could fix the majority of U-Hauls problems which involves not having equipment they have promised to you where you want and when you want it.I ordered a truck and vehicle tow for this location on their website. I did so the night before. Sure, its possible doing it last minute that the equipment wouldnt be there in time if they were out in Midland. However, their systems should accurately reflect the current inventory though. That certainly wasnt the case. For some reason they sent me to Daves Auto to pick up the truck (not sure why since it looked like there were lots of trucks at this location) but Daves Auto didnt have any vehicle tows so I had to leave my van at Daves, then load my Uhaul, then pick up the vehicle tow from this location, then go back to Daves to load my vehicle onto the vehicle carrier.Actually, in terms of loading my vehicle, doing it like this worked perfectly. This should have been explained upfront though because then I would have had someone drop me off at Daves rather than leaving my vehicle there which had thousands of dollars worth of stuff in it.Anyways, I got out lucky on this one but it appears U-Hauls crappy systems have caused many others headaches and heart break. In terms of this location, they did help me get the vehicle carrier hooked to the Truck I picked up from Daves. However, I had to wait in line FOREVER behind some dude that was just buying boxes. How long should buying boxes take? No retail store is this slow. And there was a girl at the next desk over and Im not sure what she was doing but she wasnt helping customers. Nobody said anything to me for 10+ minutes until the guy ordering boxes was done and it was my turn. The girl also used curse words in describing something unrelated to work. This doesnt bother me per se but it does emphasize the lack of professionalism one might experience here.
Seems that no one from U haul managers care about custumer service because on the reviews from this store tell you that something is wrong.. The supervisor from this store is very rude and he shoulnt be working there what is worst that how U haul can have this guy as a supervisor shame on U Haul.
Called ask if they could fill my bottles of propane today . Sure no problem bring them up hear. Drive 40 min only to be told our filler is not working today?!? Ummm what I just called. Was told it was a call center. AVOID this place it overflows with stupidly !!
The staff member who helped me really seemed to be bothered by the fact that I interrupted his Facebook time. The other staff member working seemed equally as enthusiastic. They seemed very put out that they had customers. All in all, I got a moving truck rented, which was what I came for. Sadly, customer service seems to be a thing of the past for this store.
Worst company to do business with. Whoever has the time to read my review, it will be a long review, but save yourself from my Uhaul nightmare experience. I had rented one of their u-box on June 6, 2016 in Philadelphia, Pa. Uhaul got one of their moving helpers pick up my belongings from my house and loaded onto their u-box on June 8, 2016. The contract I have with uhaul states that my u-box will arrive in Midland, Tx on June 17, 2016. If for some reason it is late, Uhaul guarantees a $50 refund (per order) per day. Uhaul called me and told me that my u-box had arrive in Midland, Tx on June 17. Uhaul will try to schedule a company to deliver my u-box at my house on June 17, 2016. I didnt get a call from Uhaul on June 17, 2016. This is where the nightmare begins, on June 18, 2016 uhaul calls me and tells me that my u-box is ready to be delivered. Uhaul got a moving company to deliver my u-box to my home and what I receive is an empty U-box. I was stunned and asked the moving helpers, where were my belongings. The moving helpers called Uhaul and found out that my u-box was still in Philadelphia, Pa. I called numerous times to Uhaul to get an update on my u-box. Fast forward to July 14, 2016, after over a month of frustration, run arounds with Uhaul customer service, Harry from Uhaul called me and told me that my u-box will be delivered on July 15, 2016. Harry from Uhaul told me that my u-box was sent to someone else house by mistake, and that Uhaul apologize and will refund my money of $1,498.00 and whatever else Uhaul had charged me. I thought Uhaul was owning up to their mistake by doing the right thing. I thought my nightmare was over, but it gets even worse, on July 15, 2016, my u-box arrived at my house ready to be unloaded into my home. When the door to the u-box opened, I notice the boxes that I had packed had gray duct tape, I was thinking to myself that I used clear packing tape. Then I realize Uhaul had mention that they sent my u-box to someone else house. What makes it worse all my furniture were damaged and my boxes were crushed and opened by someone else. I was so angry at Uhaul so I called Uhaul and they transfer me to their insurance company. I spoke with uhaul insurance company and was told someone will come out and look at all my damage items. On July 16, I called Uhaul and spoke to Regina to see if they honor their word about refunding my money for all my troubles. Regina told me that their are no notes about refunding me any money and worse case Uhaul will refund me $50. This is where I was just dumbfounded and got really angry at Uhaul. I inform Regina that I will sue Uhaul for all these troubles, then she said she will look into it but give Uhaul 48 hours to look into it. I told her that Uhaul had over a month to do the right thing. I will never ever do business with uhaul ever again!

The two gentlemen working didnt have a clue about their towing accessories. Guy spent 30 mins looking up a motorcycles and calling dealerships. We were waiting to just return a van, then he helped somebody who came in after us. Then acted like he was disgusted to help us, and started cussing the young kid who was actually working.
