I have been with other storage companies, but Extra Space has their system together!!!! I don’t have to jump through loops and hoops to speak to anyone or to make my payments. This was a quick and easy process. I love the face that its indoors/climate controlled but feels like a ride up because they have a closed in bay to un/load. The manager, Keke was very informative and made any complicated verbiage in the contract, easy to understand. I feel relieved storing my stuff here

The service was wonderful. Ms. KiKi made the phone process absolutely easy and took the time out to walk me and my family through the process. Once that was done, she gave us a tour of the facility with our unit and explained every bit of how the facility worked. We sold our home before the closing on our new home so we needed somewhere to store our belongings so we chose Extra Storage in Midlothian, Illinois. Kiki and Kayla took really good care of us helping us the whole way. We started with one unit and ended with four. The ladies were very pleasant every time we called to get another unit. I would definitely recommend this storage location. Also the facility was clean and fresh smelling.

The customer service is excellent at this facility! I booked the unit over the phone with Kayla on a Wednesday for a move-in on Saturday. Kayla was extremely polite and helpful with my reservation and the unit was as expected on Saturday. The storage facility was very clean and throughout my time there KeKe was cleaning and sanitizing areas throughout the facility. KeKe was extremely professional and informative while providing info regarding the facility and my unit. Excellent experience!

Kiki is more than exceptional! I love working with her. When I was trying to make a payment their systems were down. In between the phone tag we played for 3 weeks my payment still was not received. Then I gave them a call since I received a text message about it being passed due again spoke to someone their system was better to process my payment and all is well. I glad they reach out like they do so people things can stay safe

We started with Brittany M. In Country Club Hills, Illinois and ended with Keyva Kiki R. In Midlothian, Illinois. Both ladies were absolutely amazing and patient. Brittany didn’t have the unit size available that we wanted but she showed my husband and I what she did have and checked other affiliated storage stores for what we did want. She located what we needed at the Midlothian location, figured out the best price for us and booked it for us. We then traveled over to the Midlothian location where we meet Kiki who was super nice and inviting. Kiki took her time to show us our unit and to explain how things worked at this facility. I would definitely recommend either of these locations if you are ever in need of storage. Both places were very clean and secure.

It is very clean and the neighborhood seems very safe. I noticed that when I arrived and have noticed this on a couple of my visits to the property. The building stays clean and when I finally spoke with the manager and complimented the cleaning staff on a great job she said thank you, I do my best. I was shocked because it seems like she has a lot of tasks on her hands but I will say she does a fabulous job. You go Kiki!

WARNING❗️Do not rent a 26 ft or longer truck❗️Just don’t know where to begin😒...I have been renting storage at another place for 6 years and was always happy until that company sold out, the employees all quit,and my rent dam near doubled in the space of 2 years... let me just say that I am a pack-rat and have a ton of stuff to store and so moving to another location is a time-consuming effort...I have no help and it takes a lot of work for me to move... but I found extra space storage in midlothian and found it to be super clean and reasonably priced ...I came here about a week ago and was greeted by an incredibly friendly and warm lady... I did not get her name but she told me that her location was 111th & Pulaski, so I’m assuming that she was filling in or something...I rented a 26 ft U-Haul and spent 2 days loading it(working by myself) and today I got all backed in to the unloading garage at around 11 Am and started moving in to my new storage space...I had the truck backed in as far as possible but the very front of my U-Haul stuck out of the garage by a 6 inches or so and the door would not close but it is May and warm outside, so I did not think anything of it... garages, storage facilities, and warehouses all over the place have open and half open doors all the time...At around 2 pm I started to notice that an employee(lady) was staring at me with a very serious non-friendly look... she kept walking by and looking at me as if I drove over her dog... I just ignored it and kept working... at 4 PM I received a phone call and from a very perturbed and sarcastic individual... she was asking me if I had a U-Haul in the loading/unloading area, and how long it was going to be until I was finished... I politely answered they it would be an hour at the least and then I was abruptly cut off mid sentence because she hung up on me...Over the next hour there were 2 women (employees) that kept walking past me giving me the most hateful stares... I walked up to one of them and apologized for the truck sticking out and asked her why there is a problem, and I could not believe her response...She said that because the door is open, she was worried that anything could “crawl” in... specifically insects and animals...she told me “ you’ve been parked here all day” and looked right at me as if I done something very bad ...Yes I was there for 6-7 hours, but I AM A CUSTOMER.... a customer that has rented 2 large units... and I am working by myself ...She told me to pull out as soon as I could and because I do not want to cause trouble I pulled out to the street where I had to carry one box at a time a considerable distance through mud ... also I had to stop at the door each time and punch in the code each time... this took a long time... and I can definitely say this...I totally regret choosing extra space storage in midlothian as my new storage space ...I was made to feel like a bad guy, as if I had done something horrible... all I wanted to do was to unload my truck into my unit😒Maybe, I will switch to the one on 111th & Pulaski where that nice person works😞

I would definitely recommend storing your items here at this location. They keep it extremely clean and they also have a smooth in and out process to accommodate their customers with the drive in dock. I was helped by the store manager Keke and she was very sweet, knowledgeable and funny. She took me through the entire process and made it easier than I thought it would be.

Kayla was an absolute lifesaver when I lost the key to my units lock the day I was moving! She was able to break the old lock and they only charge for a new lock, no additional fee to get into a locked unit! Seriously Kayla was amazing thru the entire process and I cannot thank her enough!!!!

Kiki was awesome! I was very impressed by her knowledge of storage and her ability to answer questions from other customers I witnessed her speaking to as she took me to tour the facility. I must add it is very clean and secure. The bonus is the drive in bay area where you can load or unload your personal items in private and not be subject to the bad weather conditions. Her customer service is nothing less than stellar and which I could tell is just the way she handles all of her customers. The rate I got was really good too! I can appreciate good customer service anywhere I spend my money and this place and Kiki only enhanced my experience when dealing with businesses who are here to help in a time of need. My wife and I were checking out storage units for extra home goods we have laying around. We stopped at Extra Space in Midlo and were kindly greeted by Kiki the second we walked in the door.We werent positive on what size unit we needed and asked to see a few different sizes and settled on a 10 x 8 unit.From start to finish the entire process was roughly 30 minutes, but we are quite chatty which Im sure added some time.The entire premise is immaculate. Cameras galore ensure your stuff is safe. Once we signed the contract, we were shown how to use the access doors and codes. Now headed home to gather stuff together.Kiki was absolutely outstanding. Professional, and kind. Was an absolute please meeting her. We are very happy with todays visit. THANK YOU!!!

I love this storage facility and everything about it. This is my first time using storage and I must say I was very nervous with some of the things Ive heard about what happens in these places. When I met the store manager Kiki she showed me a very different view. Her building is very clean and they have security cameras and a drive in area for your car especially since its cold outside to get your items out your car and to your storage unit. Im happy I made this choice! Way to go Extra Space and your staff if amazing.

Please come and see Ms Kiki if you need storage! She was awesome and became a friend indeed by the time we were finished getting me into my unit. I was nervous about all of these crazy stories I heard about what happens to peoples things and she definitely showed me how to prevent a lot of that happening to my stuff by getting the insurance to protect my stuff if need be but their store is sooooo clean and so put together I was for sure impressed. Her and her assistant are the bomb!
