I went here a little less than a year ago, and they completely botched my jewelry change for my nose ring. I told him it wasn’t healed and he said it was. When my new jewelry wouldn’t go in because he took his time preparing it (which any professional piercer knows to have the new piece ready to go in immediately just in case) he said he could fix it and put an abnormally large needle through the scar tissue and I left HEATED and hurt. Do not come here for jewelry changes or piercings. I had to eventually let it close because it never healed. Hole was too big and the jewelry sat awkwardly. Very painful for months afterwards. Was literally ready to fight or sue. Still am. 😊 Go somewhere else! He had nothing to say about it and they did not accommodate me for anything. Two young dudes. They were really cool at first, I thought. But then I heard one of them throwing around the N word to a song and I was certain, that he was not Black. Something else that irritated me. Good luck if you do go!

Completely unprofessional. I went in there paid and when they sat me down for an ear piercing they wanted to use a disposable piercing machine and refused to refund me after I realized before they even pierced me. The marks were crooked and too close to my original piercings and when I expressed that the piercer mansplaned how to measure them after I said that I wanted them further from the original. He fixed one and refused to fix the other they came out HORRIBLE I would’ve had better luck getting them done by a blind monkey. Not to mention the jewelry is not large enough to accommodate to for swelling. Anyone who’s ever talked to a professional knows to never pierce with a butter fly back for an earring and yet here I am cause they refused to refund me even before he pierced. He also tried pointing out a “no refund” sign that was the size of an index card in the far back. who would see that from a cross the store really.

I originally am not from the Connecticut area, but I came here for vacation with my family and was feeling impulsive while walking the mall and I came across a store called KARMA. Not only was I interested because of the eye catching name, but I heard my favorite song playing as I walked by I felt like I just HAD to go in there. I’m glad I did because I met a nice gentleman named mena who greeted me with an enthusiastic attitude. I found out he was also the piercer which made me feel more comfortable and persuaded me to go through with a nose piercing . And I don’t do piercings!!!!! It came out nice, I was happy and I also left with a friend. Thank you for making me feel at home while NOT at home.

I happened to stop by karma where I was met with the most professional, easy and convenient service. It’s my wife’s birthday so I was rushing for a gift and as a man you know how hard it is to shop for wifey… the owner Mena greeted me joyfully at the door with a business card and says check us out so I decided to go in and do so. I don’t know too much about airbrush so I was kinda putting my trust in them, I’m glad I did because mr. Benjamin was able to create a beautiful story through art on a t shirt, and!!! They were so kind to push my order to the front. Shop at karma it’s worth it!!

Went there last week on a whim to get a piercing. They were attentive and quick! The piercer was upfront about the fact that the location I chose was known for rejection. He kindly asked if I’d like the placement elsewhere but I chose to risk it. I followed his aftercare instructions, and so far so good! I’ll definitely be back for another. Regardless if this one rejects or not. They’re good people.

And ben is a very skilled artist who can make any piece come to life. The shop is filled with positive/peaceful energy, and amazing service. The guy who had done my piercing was super cool and made me feel really comfortable. He explains everything he is going to do before he does it and made sure to show me the placement of the piercing before he did it. Also, the healing is going great so far. Totally recommend this place!

My piercing experience with the gentleman that “owns” the store did a absolute terrible job. ForStarters, they had no jewelry when I went to have my nose pierced. So I took it upon myself to go to generation X to purchase my own nose jewelry. Karma still charged me full price despite not using their own jewelry which was 48 dollars. then after piercing my nose I left and went to look in a actual bathroom mirror and the corkscrew that was supposed to be inside my nose was OUTSIDE my nose. I realized once I got home you can barely see the jewelry in my nose. BUT when I twist it to where the metal corkscrew is sticking OUTSIDE of my nose I can see the DIAMOND. THEREFOR, I am CONVINCED he did not pierce my nose CORRECTLY! After speaking on this phone with him this morning, the guy seemed as though he wanted to argue. I don’t argue over situations such as these, I look for solutions. I don’t need to be compensated even though it would be nice considering he did not pierce my nose correctly. Even then being in the shop the man himself and the woman seemed to have lacked a lotOf knowledge. He told me he’s been piercing for six years but that means nothing to me consideringMy nose piercing was not done correctly. for 48 dollars I would’ve expected a perfectly pierced nose but got the complete opposite. they’re more focused on selling their “sea salt anti Bacterial spray” and they’re charging 48 for nose piercings it should be free. it’s a shame. Generation x charge 35 and itComes with cleaning solution. I hope the owner can reach out and handle this situation the correct way. as a business owner, you should never argue with someone who spent and is spending money in your establishment.****edit****You tell me if the piercing looks correct to you. I’ve been cleaning it as I should multiple times a day due to blood coming through my piercing none stop. Let my experience take you to generation X. apparent the male that did my second nose piercing at Karma put the jewelry in backwards as to why the metal piece in my nose was sticking outside my nose when I left his shop after getting pierced. for “6” years of experience this place isn’t worth it. All the young man wanted to do was argue. The child at their front desk said she had to deny me service after I went back to the mall three days later to show him what he did to my nose, as if I even wanted their service after piercing my nose incorrectly. he wanted to argue. Really bad customer service people. Do not attend this shop unless you want an incorrect piercing. Generation X fixed me up nicely, if you’re looking to be pierced take your self down to generation x. They’re worth the wait. Trust me

I got my belly button pierced back on April 1st. Its been 6 weeks and I havent had any issues with it. My piercer was Mine (pronounced Mi-nay, not sure how to properly spell it) but he was such a sweetheart. He walked me through the process and everything. I knew was in good hands and Im really happy I went to Karma.

Went in for a spur of the moment piercing! Was reassured by the nice gentleman there that he had a plethora or training and observation hours under his belt in the state he learned his trade in. Very clean, following sterile protocol for piercings and cleaning! Knowledgeable, helpful! Will be going back for more for sure! Love my nose piercing

I had never been in this store before and stopped in for pricing in a bellybutton piercing. I was met with a very upbeat, professional, and knowledgeable employee. Needless to say I got my piercing done and it was a great experience. I did notice a few people complain here about pricing however, you get what you pay for and I feel the prices are worth the energy, quality, and cleanliness you’re met with. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back in the future. 😊

I waited outside this store for 30+ min. and no one ever showed up. I called, left a message on the phone and IG. The Google picture says they open at 12pm for their new hours. So unprofessional. Numerous people walked by and admired the store front and looked disappointed that the store was not open. I wasted 20 min driving here, the least they can do is put a sign on the door that says theyre opening late or what the actual time is that theyll be open.

If you dont care dont open your shop period just stay home dont waste peoples time

Awful experience, I went in with my friend and I got my nose pierced (for $45, which in my humble opinion is a little pricey). I ended up fainting and the worker would let my me lay down because he “has a business to run”. -Mind you, no one is even in there. My friend had to drag me to the chair area near Victoria’s Secret and sit me down as I was still passed out. Don’t go here.

I always feel welcomed by the owners Roy and Mena coming to Karma. Its always clean, organized, and always professional. This environment has become a second home for me. Not only are the orders good quality but they are completed before their due date and accommodate customers at the last minute. Both of the owners are Certified in piercings and only pierce with a hollow needle. Thats something thats not common in the other places in the Milford mall. They genuinely care and educate their customers on the proper up keep for their piercing so no infections occur. Not only that but they educate customers on the proper care for anything that gets printed or Airbrushed to ensure that they have many wears from it. I value the information this place has to give. I hope one day I can be as good as them. Both Mena and Roy are True artist and masters of their craft. This place has GREAT KARMA!!! No complaints! 100% SATISFIED !
