So glad its back open. My wife and I had a delicious lunch today. Their chicken salad sandwich arrived with homemade potato chips still warm from the kettle. The chicken corn chowder was also delicious. It will be a weekly stop from now on. I doubt that youll be disappointed
Its a convenient location just off the 1. I was just passing through on my travels and really appreciated the friendliness of the staff. Was looking for a home-cooked feeling and when I got my food and I was not disappointed. The coffee was bold, the ham and cheese omelette with home fries and toast was fantastic, and the portion was great. The diner was clean and pretty busy but all the staff seemed happy to help. Thanks for giving me a slice of home on the road.
We had a large group for breakfast and everything was great. The waitress kept the coffee hot. The food came quickly and it was delicious.
Despite being shorthanded, the service & food was still great.
What a lovely diner ! My father just moved to Delaware and we popped in here for a quick lunch. Honestly best chicken sandwich I’ve had in all my life !!! It was a simple fried chicken, cheddar, bacon and lettuce sandwich on a ciabatta roll. AMAZING!!!! My father got a chicken cheese steak sandwich. The French fries were simple but delicious. The waitress we had was so friendly, attentive and quick!! Smiling faces make a difference in a restaurant and this place knocked it out of the park !! Thank you for wonderful service & an amazing lunch ! YUM !!!!
Understand being understaffed does cause issues. But this place, you feel rushed l, the waitress rushes missed getting our children drinks. Didnt ask if we needed a highchair until after we had already ordered and it was the owner that asked I believe, very nice lady. We got moved to another table before we were even close to finishing asked if we needed boxes and put the check on the table. Prices are high for what food you get and the service. In my honest opinion Westside Diner is the best in Milford. No matter how busy they are you always feel welcomed, the prices are amazing for the amount of food you get and the service is amazing like your family even if your not a regular. Will not be returning to this place ever again.

Always good, hot food, always clean and always good service. Anyone with complaints about this establishment must of happened to get a very rare poor service. Which I’m sure every restaurant has one of those days. However I go here often and I’ve never received poor service or bad food, nor cold food. I highly recommend.
The owners are very nice people. My husband loves their blt with egg sandwich. Food is good and you get a decent portion.

I have been dinning at the Milford Diner for years I even ate there as a child with my grandmother and have so many memories there be glad to see them open again I eat there with my parents now

Really clean. We had breakfast. Coffee was really hot and delicious. Portion size on food was great. Taste was great as well. Loved the old inside trailer diner. On a cold day they had the heaters running so at least was very comfortable... bathrooms were clean...loved it. Will be back...
Food and service has always been very good. However last visit was very disturbing. COVID protocol was not being followed. Customers entering and walking about without face masks. Tables wiped between customers but not sanitized. Kitchen staff not wearing face masks. Their disregard for safety has lost me as a customer.
So glad to see them open again. My wife and I stopped here on our way to Ocean City. The burger was excellent and my wife loved her Tuna melt. Always worth a stop!
My girlfriend and I came from out of town and this Diner was right by us. We were pleasantly surprised to find the food knocking our socks off!!! Excellent food and attentive service with a smile. All the employees are wearing masks so they care about everyone safety. Very cool place to eat at!

I can’t possibly say enough good about this place. Stopped here this morning not realizing they were closed. The owner happened to be here having a meeting, and so graciously invited me in, made a fresh pot of coffee for me to fill my thermos, and gave me an order of cheesecake to go. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in the area!

Food was really good. Has limited hours so dont just drive there like we did, call first. Service was great; quick and attentive. Has limited menu like a lot of places but still a lot to choose from.

We go here every Sunday after Mass...it is so amazing! Never too long a wait and our server is always the same it seems and she is wonderful, kind and efficient! The food is top notch. Only once did we have a problem with a piece of chicken and she just took it off our check!! Super kind!! Highly recommended...coming from a Jersey girl who knows her diners!!!
I love going to Milford Diner Sunday mornings its always friendly people in there and the service is so good and the waitresses are so nice the food is great and what covid-19 going on you definitely feel safe
We generally like it here. The food is good, reasonable price its a nice clean local place, and we like to support our local small business. But they really need to step up their game with the service. It is always fair at best. 15 minutes to get a first cup of coffee at breakfast doesnt work for us. It wasnt that busy, and its been awful service three times now. Food was cold three times now. We will be taking a break. Come on guys, get the service right. We want you to do well there, but there are other options
My husband and I stopped here and ate breakfast this morning on the way to Lewes, DE. My chocolate chip pancakes and veggie omelette were amazing. My husband enjoyed his pancakes and scrapple as well. Great service too. Convenient location right off the highway.
This is a very good place. The food was great. Food was served in 5 to 7 minutes. I never got my food that fast,n the food nice n hot. The atmosphere n people was nice n the waitress n bus man was very nice. I will be back. My first time there. N it was a great place to eat
The Milford Diner is like home. Everyone is welcoming. The service is great! & the food excellent! We met the owners from eating at the diner. They are AWESOME!
Me and two buddies went there for breakfast. Nice breakfast stop.I ordered a vegetable omelette pancakes and turkey sausage and home fries everything came out great. The pancakes were light and fluffy. neat and clean place.

Got to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I was driving back to NY from VA, starving... the soup was great, the chicken Turkey pot pie was yummy and the ice cream was good too. Did I mention the coffee was up to par as well? One of my best diner experiences.

I have always liked the diner and the new owners are trying very hard. The BAKER is AMAZING! The breakfast foods are good. But the evening meal is not quite up to par yet. The atmosphere is still the Diner of which is nice and the staff is always friendly!!
Very good, super busy. New ownership, just reopened. Worth a visit. Local, not a chain. Nice southern feel. Diverse clientele.Breakfast was well prepared. Ample portions. Good variety, including a few house specials.Counter and table service. Low to moderate prices. Excellent service. Simple decor.Plan for a short wait at busy times. They offer take out service and quick pick up items (like on the way to work).Ill be back.

Good place to eat on the run early in the am. Quick service and the best pancakes around. The staff never lets your drink run low and prices are fair.

Driving through Milford, on the way north. Im a Delawarean. What shall we eat? I dunno. Milford Diner? Newly refurbished???............. Ok. Very surprised. Food looked great, tasted great, and the server was fantastic!! If I travel up north, guess what? Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner will be here!!
The Food was great. I had ham egg and cheese omelet with spinach and rye toast. They make Their own rye bread. It looked beautiful and it tasted great. I Would recommend eating breakfast there.

Redecorated, which is nice, but they said they lost their Baker. Menu is not what it was before they redecorated. No bagels, lox or cream cheese. The scrapple is much too thick, (they mustve lost their cook too). Its OK, but I only go there when Im in the area, I wouldnt choose to make a special trip just to go there. If it returns to its glory days, then itll get 5 stars.
Fairly new... first time... waffle and fruit was about average...prices too! Service was well above average. Check-backs, drink refills timely and with a smile.
New owners( roughly a year ago) really took pride in re opening the diner. They are always there greeting customers, cooking, cashiering, and whatever else its takes to succeed. Breakfast food is great and priced lower than anywhere else in Milford. Dont go there much for dinner but, what I had was very good. Have not been disappointed yet.
My wife and I stopped here on the way to the beach. We have been stopping at the Bob Evans across the street for several years but it has closed up. To our surprise, the diner had great tasting breakfast food at a great price. This will be our breakfast stop from now on.

I understand this is an old establishment that is under new management and there has been a serious upgrade after an over the year closure and remodel. I had eaten here more than a decade ago and it was fine then. Now everything I could see and touch was spotless and the stainless steel inside the diner was gleaming.I will comment on 2 breakfasts eaten on 2 consecutive days in March, 2019. Service was fast, pleasant and attentive. The breakfast menu had everything I would expect for an American breakfast. They did the over easy eggs just right. The fired potatoes (I ordered onions to top them) were fine and the pancake was nice a fluffy. Pastries are great there and nicely displayed in a case.
The service was fast and friendly. Nice atmosphere. We have been there 3 times since the new owners and the food has been great.
They have wonderful breakfast foods here, personally I recommend their scrapple and waffles. Both smell delicious and taste exactly how you want. The seating can be a little odd on the inside and make things a little cramped depending on where you are but if you like breakfast food then its worth it.

The food was very good, the waitress, Sierra, was excellent and very sweet, prices were good and the food plentiful. We used to go there back in the 70s after dances. The new owners are on to something. We will go back
The food was good, but the guy at the register was absolutely rude to the older woman who was helping me ring out my take out order. He then got mad at me and told me to just take my food and go, after I told him I didnt mind waiting for the whole register issue to be fixed. That woman didnt deserve to be talked to like that in front of customers over some pancakes. First and last time visiting.
Its very family oriented. Owners are very active in the day to day service. Could use a really good cleaning but other then that its nice.
Family of 6 were happy and full after eating! We ordered western & cheese omelettes, pancakes and hot ham & cheese sandwich on pretzel roll all were very good! Waiter was friendly and attentive. Diner is bright cheery and clean!

We go here from time to time when visiting family in the area. Such good southern style food, much different from the typical Greek themed NY diners at home.Huge portions and low prices make this place a hit each time we go. The Mason Dixon breakfast I had the last time I went was the best breakfast I have eaten in a long time.

Great food cheap
Coffee was bitter. Over easy eggs were over medium. Country fried steak gravy was gross and the steak was more like hamburger than a steak. The home fries taste and smell more like onions and fries and there were no onions in it. On the plus side the waitress was nice but I would not eat there again. Thats probably why the place is for sale..
We always have a good experience at the Milford Diner. Good food at a good price. Just what you expect from a diner! Staff is always friendly also. Give them a try and make your own decision!

Had 1st breakfast there since they reopened. It was a good size meal for the price. Tasted good. Waitress needed to pay closer attention to my order when she brought it. Not as I ordered it. Had to get it corrected. Over all a good experience. They even have Orange Marmalade, always a good sign.
Me and my family go here for lunch every weekend and it is very good, the only complaint I have is the fact that one of the workers is very aggressive to a server yelling at her and calling her slow, and just mean things in general which no-one deserves that. But anyways good place to eat.
Pancakes are to die for, biscuits and gravy... Not so much, the gravy was way too peppery and the biscuit was doughy and undercook. Love their home fries as well and the food that I did manage to eat was delicious.
A great old fashioned breakfast spot, I highly recommend the sausage gravy and biscuits.
