Havent visited this Stop & Shop in quite a while. On this trip, we had very good service with both the produce and check out cashier personnel. Will be visiting the location in the future.

I’ve been shopping here since moving to Milford last year. I’m from Massachusetts, and my S&S up there was nicer, the people were friendlier, and things were cleaner...so I figured this would be my place to shop. I’ve tried, but this recent “renovation” is a huge mess. It takes me twice as long to find things, and the layout must have been designed by someone who has never been to a grocery store before. The gas station customer service needs serious work, and my patience is now at zero. It’s been an interesting year, Stop & Shop, but I’ll be splitting my time between Whole Foods for meats and produce, and Shop Rite for the rest. Why go to a dirty Stop & Shop when there are 2 immaculately clean stores 2 minutes away?!

Very good location and never too crowded, so if you want to do your groceries in calm and peace this is the correct place.

This stop and shop is a great place to shop. The selection is great, everything is fresh, its very clean and the staff is very nice. Prices are a little high on some items

Just encountered a very rude attendant at the Milford CT gas station at stop and shop near mall. I asked her for help with my rewards points and she could not be bothered. Visited at 3:15 on 8/31. I was asking her how I scan my app using my smart phone. She laughed and told me to go to customer service in the store. She was very apathetic to my question and it felt like she could not be bothered. Unfortunately, she gives a bad name to the many friendly associates at this store.

Great store that is usually restocked often with fresh product.UPDATED 10/8/2021This store has gone DOWNHILL. You may have upgraded all your shelving and freezers but your staff needs some work. I always seem to get a rude or nasty employee. I have multiple examples but I will give you the most recent.No one was at the deli but I took a number anyway and waited. Two workers appeared to be doing something so I waited patiently.Another employee then walks up and one of the men take her order and begin doing it. Meanwhile I am next, number 56 but...he counts the co-worker as number 56 and skips over me to 57 which is another person who came after me.I stand there dumbfounded and instead of letting that bother me I just...go to the kiosk and put my order in there while I grab some other items.Im number 5 the slip says. 30 minutes later I am done. 5 hasnt been called. I go back to the deli. Nothing. I give up.

Generally this stop and shop is managed well and kept clean but recently when I was there with my family and Nicole the young cashier sneezed all over her hands and then handled my groceries and change. Even during a life threatening pandemic common sense and cleanliness isn’t a priority to some people, wear a freaking mask or sanitize your hands, nobody wants your germs, especially with everything going on

The staff with order pickup are wonderful and very accommodating. I’m so glad I have this option especially during COVID and as someone who is immunocompromised. Nathan and others I have dealt with are very kind and helpful.

They are rearranging the store, what a nightmare.Update, 9/7/21, Store looks good however, I was completely disgusted by the male deli clerk chewing gum and not wearing a mask while handling unwrapped food. When I asked him to put on a mask before slicing my order, he said he didnt have one. Im sorry but Im vaccinated AND wear a mask to shop, he should have to wear a mask to handle food he shouldnt be chewing gum with his mouth open either 🤢 if it wasnt for the other clerk that was wearing a mask, I would have left the store without having gotten anything from the deli.

Dont go on Wednesdays or Thursdays you will most likely have rancid meat! I bought a pork shoulder and ground veal. Within 20 min being home. I found the pork was bad, ok so I returned it. Hungry and back home I went to cook the veal that was bad to. Agreed it was %33 off for the veal, but for the pork shoulder to be bad and it wasnt marked down makes me queasy. Frustrated, still hungry and $20 worth of gas later. I will never return for meat.

I feel like when I come here for something specific they dont have it but when Im just shopping around they have everything

Good place to get your daily food, meat, dairy products, cooked foods best deli meat, sandwich including produce, bakery and other requirements.

A lot more items in this stop and shop, than the one in West Haven.

Store clean and staff very nice especially Cat, the person that checked me out. Her customer service was on point.

They constantly move merchandise to different places in the store making it difficult to find things. The shelves are not consistently stocked so you never know if youll find what you want week to week.

Produce has been subpar lately, the store is in disarray, very little supply, products left to rot or are part expiration date.. its been awful to say the least!

Clean spacious good sales and you get the sale price if you only buy one. Across from Milford mall and adjacent to walfarts. I like it because from nearby covered bus stop can get you to shoreline towns west Coastal Link bus. Peoples Bank inside. Bus passes cttransit available.

The employees are very respectful, the store is incredibly clean and organized, and the food prep + bakery work doesnt leave you wanting. In all honesty, this is my personal favorite Stop & Shop in the New Haven area.

The appearance of the store left a little to be desired with most of the shelving being replaced by racks, but otherwise it was ok.

The store needs some updating. I have been to other Stop & Shops that have been recently updated and it just has a better vibe when you walk in. The staff is great, all extremely helpful.

Milford Stop & Shop is a fine example of the store chain. Its well laid out, well stocked and their partnership with one of our local banks is very convenient.

Always clean, always has great variety and fresh produce and meats.

Best place around. The best way to describe the work done here is nothing but perfection.

Love the update of the store

Both a manager and an employee repeatedly placed me in a situation where appropriate social distancing was not adhered to. I felt increasingly unsafe in the store and said as much to the manager who did nothing to fix the situation. Its great to have policies and sent emails about all youre doing to protect people, but its worthless if no one follows it. I left without my groceries and completed my shopping at ShopRite around the corner.

Even though this store isnt as convenient for me to shop at, the inventory selection is very good and the store is clean. I had just got into the habit of shopping here - that is until this past Friday. During my trip I stoped at the deli counter and saw there was only one employee working. That employee, an older male, was wearing a face shield with no mask overing his mouth or nose, and was handling food while taking inventory. The entrance to this store has signs posted stating that it is a government order that everyone coming into the store wear a mask, so why arent all of the employees doing the same? Especially employees who are cutting and handling food?!?! A face shield does absolutely nothing to prevent the spread of Covid. Its unthinkable that the management here isnt enforcing basic safety precautions at at time like this. Suffice it to say that I didnt place a deli order, and had to go to a different store to complete my shopping. I wont be back until I know management is enforcing mask usage with all of its employees - especially the deli clerks!

Fruits and vegetables fresh and well displayed.

Arrived at 730pm to get a few groceries. The store was not crowded and the shelves for the most part were well stocked. If youre looking to stock up on two weeks of food you will not be disappointed.

In and out quick. Have items needed. People pleasant and willing to help. Love the fruit specials they have had this summer. Fruit perfect and taste great. Sometimes buy one get one free.

I shop here all the time since its very close. Store is always clean and looks nice and most the are always in stock. However, the spices are limited. Its late August and they didnt have pickling spice while they did have a lot of canning supplies like jars, lids and pectin, but those were here and there around the store, so it was a hassle to look for. Still my go-to store for convenience and ample selection.

Stop & shop is okay. Not my favorite.

This place has food and a robot that roams around to find spills. Stop by here and welcome your future robot overlords.

Old steamed dried out lobster. I asked twice if they were freshly made. And was told they were freshly steamed. Beware.

Nobody cares about the parking lot.

This is a good clean stop and shop. Christine in the deli department. Dropped everything she was doing just to make my husband a sandwich from the chicken salad she was putting to out on the line. Tyler one of the cashier s is such a nice guy, look for him when your checking out. This stop and shop has a salad bar, deli, I cant recall if they had the bakery but they did have baked goods. Their flowers were fresh and beautiful.

Why isnt every store run like this one? Its clean, things are actually stocked and do not disappear due to overstocking issues. Every local Stop and Shop should take notice and do better.

The Monroe Turnpike Stop & Shop is the best in the area. It is always clean, well stocked and the employees are pleasant and helpful. This is not true of other locations.

Wide selection and lots of name brands. Prices are mediocre at best, though. ShopRite is comparable in every way, but typically beats their prices on similar items. The only reason to go here is because they do more clearance/markdowns than anybody else.

Has everything you need service is satisfactory but you can tell its overwhelming for them at times so the staff gets an A- from me. Only gripes are that they need to be more competitive with dairy and produce and the location and getting in and out of the parking area and gas area. When I can get better quality milk at dollar general for a dollar less then you know theyre overcharging. And the way the parking area, entrances and gas area are set up makes for an overwhelming and stressful entrance and exit into the store grounds. Overall a decent shopping experience

There all pretty much the same. Though a whole lot less attitude from employees compared to Massachusetts locations. Very clean and priced right.

It doesn’t matter where the stop and shop is located they always are the best middle level supermarket. Always nice and fresh fruit is and veggies, lots of options for organic food. Service is on the top most of times . Convince of locations is a big thing too . I had move around a lot recently but stop and shop is always the closest supermarket.

Nice but too pricey

I was just treated terribly by a Customer Service Associate whom, while in the process of returning a couple duplicate items purchased in error, the associate was extremely rude and unprofessional all due to this being the second or third time without a receipt due to a yorkie puppy whom chews everything. She was barely able to pronounce words and insinuated since I returned items before that I habitually do it which is false. I will never return to this one and am considering shopping at shop rite, despite shopping at stop and shop for over 30 years. Managers did nothing to assist me and I am so disappointed.

Good grocery store. Not as good a meat market as Adams and not as good a fish selection as Shop-Riter, but overall a better selection of everything else. A little too much automation, they need more staff for when the light goes off (buying wine/beer, cold medicine, etx.)
