The place had such a lively feel the the owners were so full of energy. I love their selection of syrups. I got a lavender latte and was incredibly happy with it. 10/10 would go again!

Go there often to support local businesses, not a regular though. I gave two stars because to be fair most of times when I go there people who work there are nice until today. The guy at the counter was so rude. I could have given 5 stars but what happened today just ruined it. Definitely won’t go back.

Stopped in today for a coffee and a pastry. The latte was delicious, you can taste the quality in the cup. Muffin was also good. The owner is incredibly nice and welcoming. Will definitely be back many times!

I stopped by here this past Saturday (6/12) to grab a coffee before running some errands. This was my first time at Coffee Mill Roasters.Ordered a cappuccino and a cold brew, along with a slice of the spinach and feta pie. The pie was AMAZING--warm, savory and rich. The coffee, however? Both were icky, and certainly not worth the $4+ I paid for each. The cold brew was (somehow) both sour and bitter, and it wasnt because of add-ins because I got it black.The cappuccino was scalding hot and I burnt my tongue. Once it was cool enough to actually taste, the coffee also somehow tasted bitter and sour. It was particularly odd, because the milk foam was normal, but the liquid below was not drinkable.Really disappointed in this experience. I contemplated going back for a refund or a new drink, but the single cashier/barista was working alone and there were a few people on line/waiting for service. I also felt bad--it could be that the barista was poorly trained, and didnt know how to properly extract the espresso? But that wouldnt explain the icky cold brew.Either way, Im sad to be leaving such a poor review. I may pop in for more spinach pie in the future, but I will not bother giving the drink menu a second chance.

The staff is great so are the deserts. But if you are here for coffee might as well just go next door.I am all about the new style of coffee. And this coffee tastes like charcoal. Sorry to say will never be back. At least for the coffee

Tasty coffee, excellent customer service

They make their own Baklava and Kataife. Their version is what we call in my culture 1000 years old. Its been sitting around soo long you cant even bite it. Baklava is a mushy old sweet thing but might have been ok 3 weeks ago. Cant even taste the nuts anymore. So sad

Best coffee around. It makes Starbucks taste like 7/11. Seriously though, this place is legitimately better and the coffee is noticeably more fresh. The owner is a really nice guy. You should also try the homemade pastries.

I started stoping in here instead of going to the next door Starbucks and honestly I’m very glad I did. The service is friendly and quick, the whole place is very clean and the baked goods all ways taste fresh.

I’m new to the area but this place was my first home here in millburn. I come here almost every day and the experience always brightens my mood. From the cold brew coffees to the all organic acai bowls, I’m constantly satisfied. The owner of this place makes you feel at home and is always open to chat if he’s not too busy. The outdoor seating and music creates the coffee shop aesthetic that everyone is searching for on their days off.

Happy little find on my door dash, was looking for a bright little eatery and i found it. great for that quick bite and a cup of coffee. the flavors are fabulous. i was so impressed after the 1st order, i placed another the next day and was equally pleased. and even thought they may have been out of stock on what i was ordering, the replacement item was just perfect. i trust their choices and will let them surprise me anytime!

Everyone who works here is very friendly and seems like they genuinely enjoy their work here. The place is clean, the staffs are friendly. WiFi is great, noise levels are low, and prices are fair.

The Raspberry mocha sent me to a different dimension. 10/10 ill be back

I doordashed my order and it was absolutely delicious!! The store called me because they didn’t have my monkey bread and even threw in another free bakery item. The brownies literally were so soft and melted in your mouth! The coffee tasted absolutely fresh and the customer service was astounding. Thank you Coffee Mill Roasters for being opened to everyone in this time!

The person who served me today was very rude. He brought up the fact that he belonged to a certain religious group and how muslims were cruel to his people and went on to make assumptions about how people read the Islamic religious texts to “Just read it and not to find the truth”. I will not be returning to this bakery and I would hope that the owner or whoever is in charge ensures that customers are not religiously persecuted by the workers here.

As a devoted coffee drinker, I’m always looking for the best coffee in town. Well, it was a nice surprise to discover The Coffee Mill Roasters which specializes in freshly roasted coffee from different origins. I was impressed with their high-quality coffee, appetizing pastries and warm ambiance. The owner, Gennaro Raimo, is very friendly. It was obvious that he takes pride in serving gourmet coffee with a finer aroma, richer flavor, and more body than Starbucks. The incredible selection of pastries, quiches, empanadas and soups are made in house or by the renowned Balthazar bakery (delivered freshly every day). If you haven’t stop yet by this special place, I recommend doing it soon.

Stopped in after running at the Orange Reservoir. The coffee is expertly prepared and wonderful. I got a hot coffee and the other in my party got a cold brew. No line on Saturday morning because the sheep were all at Starbucks and Dunkin. This was infinitely better and not a chain. Support small businesses!

My girlfriend and I took a trip into beautiful downtown Millburn. During our stroll around and after lunch we decided we wanted coffee. (No stroll is complete without a cup of coffee) It was such a tough decision with so many choices around! Finally we were attracted to a small coffee shop and it was this one! I got the cold brew and my lady friend choose the iced latte. Both were exceptional! Full of flavor and full bodied but not overly strong! Will definitely visit Millburn soon and this is sure to be one of our stops! Enjoy it everyone! Look like a champ in front of your girls and choose this spot. They will think you are a genius!

The Bakalava was delicately delicious! This is a gem of a coffee house and dessert cafe. You are missing something if you do not patronize such a wonderful coffee shop. I drove 2 hours home with my cappuccino and there was foam still lingering in my cup when I arrived. Quality and service are the intention of this owner. A must stop and support your local business. I will visit every time I drive thru but next time I am buying more bakalava!

Coffee excellent and Balthazar Pastries and Granola are excellent..but the excellent Empandas are much too little for $3.50 each. To make a lunch out of it a girl would need 3 and a guy 4 of them for a light lunch..$14..too much..add tax and a coffee..I often think of those Empandas first when Im around there 2 times a week but 9 out of ten times we go for the the also excellent Bacon and Eggs on a Roll at the Diner one block over for $5.05.If you are not on a budget at all the Beef Empanadas are excellent.
