Black Cherry Market is a wonderful market for Mediterranean foods. Everything is so fresh! The halal lamb and beef is marvelous. I have been shopping here for many years. The customers service and availability of a variety of specialty foods the way they are supposed to taste is amazing. So if you dont want feta that tastes like salted chalk, treat yourselves to reasonably priced imported feta!

Always great customer service from the staff at this shop. The shop is always extremely neat and tidy too. Ive been coming here for years and I can definitely recommend it!

We are fans of Mediterranean/Greek Food and when my daughter found this store she couldnt wait to go. We found many items not carried in regular stores. It was definitely worth the trip. We left with many fun item and cant wait to go back. The prices were fair for specialty foods and the staff was great, very friendly and thoughtful. When I told my brother about it he said he wanted us to take him there when he has to visit the Salt Lake area. If you like homemade Mediterranean and Greek food this store is worth taking the time to visit.

In the past shopping here has been fun. We’ve always loved experiencing new tastes and culture. Always felt welcomed by a young, sweet and charming young lady. Today’s experience will keep me from returning. The man at the counter ignored his other patrons & singled me out to embarrass me for touching an extra box of candy i was looking at for a Mother’s Day gift.

Great place with a decent variety of International groceries. This is the best place for authentic Feta Cheese, rice, olive oils...etc...Must visits and Im sure you will be a loyal customer.

I needed two very odd exotic spices to make a Greek Easter bread. Unbelievable they had them! The store is a wonderful source for a variety of foods and spices.Also absolutely the best source for yogurts and feta cheeses!

There are specialty items that we use in our household everyday. From seasonings to vegetables. Weve been loyal customers for over 10 years and we will keep going there for the fresh bread,zatar, tahini. They even have dishes.

My first time here and it was a great experience. An excellent selection of Mediterranean and Middle East foods, from beans to pastries and local grass-fed beef. Spices, flat breads, canned and bottled vegetables, it really has it all. And a very nice young woman working the register.

I highly recommend this place. Great variety and really good prices. The only place in the valley Ive been able to find a lahmajun. And real pitas & lavish & lena. Good friendly service. This is my new favorite store.

A great selection of mediterranean food. I went there to get Mahlepi and mastic resin/tears. And came out with olive oil, grape leaves, and so much more. I was very excited to see that they carried grass fed beef as well as lamb. Great service.

Great selection, very orderly and clean. The only thing I felt unhappy about was the neglected plants, they desperately need some watering in order to survive and thrive. Best to put up just plastic plants if one doesnt care or understand the modest needs of plants for water and sunlight.

Amazing place! My girlfriend, who’s Lebanese, and I were able to find lots of Lebanese products so that we could finally make some Lebanese dishes we’ve missed! Highly recommended. My girlfriend says وأخيرًا لقيت لبنة!

Love to go shopping here. All their products are high quality 👌. I love the heart artichokes, they are like in my country, big and tasty. The artichoke quiche turns amazing. Owners are very nice. 👌 👋

My boyfriend and his mother and sister have gone here for years, and I’m new to SLC area, and they took me here for the first time a few days ago and I don’t usually leave reviews but I was in love with this market it’s so little and they’ve got so much it’s beautiful inside and I’m such a huge fan of trying new things and I have always wanted to try Mediterranean food and desserts and this place hit the stop plus there meat is so fresh and delicious!!! I’ll definitely be coming back 🖤 also the worker was awesome great service.

Ive been to all of the Middle Eastern markets in Salt Lake County and this one has the BEST dates! THE BEST! You have to try the fresh dates! If dries dates are more your thing, try the black emerald mazafati dates! They are to die for!

It was really clean and inviting. Lots of beautiful baklava options. I had called around to local groceries and none of them had any.

For ethnic specialty food stuffs - you cant beat this small store. It is spotless and extremely inviting. Anytime I decide to cook something Greek - this is where I get those hard to find ingredients. The nice gentalman that runs it is so nice. He puts up with what are probably very dumb questions with extreme patience! Love this sweet little store.

Lots of fun middle Eastern/Mediterranean food choices here. I even found a few one-serving ready-to-serve options to add some variety to my lunch at work. While I tried to avoid them, there seemed to be a lot of tasty imported sweets as well!I only had so much time to explore, but I feel like I could go back and find more to try.

I love variety of pita and flat breads you can get here. I like coming here and just trying out new products Ive never seen before. The people working here are very nice and helpful.

Best rice you can buy. I drive pretty far to get here, because everyone else’s rice sucks. Also love the huge containers of olives at a great price that last forever.

Clean environment but definitely not kids friendly. Within a few minutes of entering the owner warned the kids several times and followed them in the store and came to us and complained. There is a kind way to handle these issues, my kids are not in the store to tear it apart. We absolutely felt unwelcome and left the store without shopping.

It has Persian food and so good for Iranian people who living in Salt lake City👌👌

One of my favorite local markets! Great selection and prices, I would recommend this store to anyone looking for fresh ingredients from the Mediterranean. Theres something for everyone, and the staff is very helpful.

Some of the largest varieties of food from all over the Mediterranean. Every time I go to Salt Lake City from Las Vegas I visit them. We got there 2 minutes after they closed today and they re-opened for us with no questions asked. A big smile on his face and as pleasant as he could be. I am Italian and there is something for everyone there.

The coolest little middle eastern shop with delicious dolmas and lavash. The owners always help us find what we are looking for whether it be curry powder or coconut milk. This is our go to place for bread now.

Good selection of Persian and Arab goods. No expired goods on the shelves. Store is well-kept and well-lit. Items are priced fairly, and they have a large selection of spices and teas. I do wish they carried the largest jar of puck cheese, though.
