Had the best experience here just the other week! The undercarriage of my car was hanging low, so I was unable to drive it, in fear of something getting caught underneath. I called Ford and although they were extremely busy, Dave got me in the next day to get my car looked at. All of the staff was so kind and helpful. They fixed my car and I was out the door within 30 minutes! I was able to go home and surprise my family for the weekend because of these incredible people. Very thankful for such a great experience and would definitely go back again!

My first experience was amazing. Steve provided top notch customer service and answered all of my questions. He displayed amazing patience with me in purchasing a larger vehicle for my growing family. Josh kept his promise to rectify my cracked windshield and the entire sales team is amazing!I’m only rating this 3 because of the experience after my purchase. 2 weeks after purchasing, the check engine light came on. My schedule did not permit time to bring it in and the scheduled pick up never happened. So, I called the warranty department who suggested I take it back to the place of purchase and have the dealership call in a claim as the engine was covered. This was not the case so I spent an additional $1065 on top of the original cash purchase.Some woman named Mary, I’ll spare her last name must have driven the truck unauthorized because she left her mail in my truck and the passenger side was filthy. On top of this, my Clorox wipes that were in the center console were no longer in the truck. When I brought this to their attention, a complimentary detailing was offered. Again, I’m only rating a 3 because this encounter truly outweighed everything done.Robert, I believe, was very respectful and to him I apologize as I’m sure my frustration was not presented in the best manner. My boyfriend had his car towed to Ford after it wasn’t starting. The dealership said it would take a week to fix. Didn’t hear anything after 7 days and so we called to check in, they said they forgot our car was sitting in the parking lot and hasn’t been checked out. 2 days later they finally look at the car and it starts, so they call my boyfriend to tell him to come pick it up. They ran no diagnostics/Service check. When my boyfriend was driving down the road his car stalled out and pulled over to turn off his car and start it again. Expect the car wouldn’t start just like it did last time. Now my boyfriend is stuck on the side of the road having to get his car towed again because they didn’t do anything about it the first time. Incredibly DISAPPOINTED. I will never purchase another Ford or go to another Ford dealership. This vehicle has had problems since the day he got it and not a single time has Ford fixed any of the issues. I would advise everyone to purchase any other car besides Ford.

I had an appointment for ford to look at my car because of a recall for the transmission control model that was 2 wks ago I have called several times getting excuses after excuses... the last time my husband called he was pretty much told well get to it when we get to it the appointment u made was just for us to accept ur car... OK u accepted my car now u need to look at my car and fix it!!!... I should not have to wait a month or so to get my cat back... this being my only vehicle I have not choice but to leave it there and pray they finally decided to do their job!!!
Went online to view inventory, got a price right away from Andrew, scheduled a test drive the next day. Drove the vehicle and got a very reasonable offer on my trade very quickly and closed the deal. Was on my way shortly thereafter in my new truck. Andrew took the time to show us everything and set up our Ford app while we were waiting to sign paperwork. I would highly recommend this dealership. It was great.

The worst Ford service I have had. I been buying Ford for 20 years this place is the worst in the nation. The customer service was terrible hanging up phones on customer. Never take your car there for repairs. They are dishonest and I will never go to Butler Ford for anything. They dont deserve one star.

Went to butler ford to look at a ford f150 they had for sale. I was working with Matthew and as I was on my way he texted me explaining that there was another guy there already looking at it and I decided to continue the drive there to look anyways and while waiting he came out to tell me that the guy was going to buy it and that if the deal fell through he would contact me right away. He stuck to his word as the deal fell through and texted me again stating it was ready and I drove back to work out a deal and they done everything they could and i walked away with it. Him and josh are great, helpful and kind guys. I would consider going there again if I am looking for a new car in the future. if you are considering going ask for Matthew and work with him.

This is the second time the service department has kept my mother in laws 2018 Ford Escape for over a month. The first time the kept it for over 3 months and the service manager Greg said they would do paperwork and send to Ford for reimbursement of those monthly payments, still aint heard jack on those. Now, 5k miles after having a new engine put In its back because of transmission issues. They have had it over a month now and still waiting on parts..... as soon as we get this LEMON back going straight the Childre and trade it in! I wouldnt let this service department work on a push mower!
Completely unprofessional, I had signed and completely a deal from a brother dealership, for this dealership to send the car and they waited and sold the car out from under me. I had everything completed and was waiting for the car to show up. I would not recommend to anyone. They are incredibly shady.

HORRIBLE. I had an appointment Friday at 3:30 that I made on Wednesday. The appointment was for an oil change and for them to see why my check engine light was on. When I got there Friday they said I would need to leave my car because the check engine light diagnostics would be at least 24 hours. No one mentioned this when I made the appointment. This is rather important info that should have been mentioned when I made the appointment. I had to cancel that and just get the oil change since I had no alternative transportation. I was told the oil change would be 1 to 1.5 hours max. 2 hours later I was told that my car had been ready for awhile. I paid for the oil change which ended up being $15 more than quoted. By the time I got maybe a mile down the road my car sounded like it was falling apart and something was dragging. I had to pull on the side of the road at dusk to see what was wrong. The entire “under shield” was not attached and dragging. I took it back immediately. Apparently the mechanic didn’t attach it back at all and just tucked it up. Another mechanic attempted to reattach it but some of the bolts were missing from the work area. I finally got to leave after 6. 2.5 hours for an oil change is insane. To top it off the next morning when I got in my car their was grease on the front and back of my visor and the ceiling and driver seat. So I had to then buy upholstery cleaner to get that out. I will never come here again and would encourage everyone to go anywhere else.

I recently purchased a 2018 Nissan Maxima sv thru Butler Ford...When taking the car for a test drive, although I thought it had brake issue and discussed them repairing the issue to which they agreed they would fix..No one called to set up a time....I called to set up the repair went to the dealer with my car.. When arriving the service guy said they dont that on used cars..But my car was still under manufactur warranty..When I stated this he said it had no warranty...After almost 2 hours of Waiting they finally put my on the lift...I was then I formed my car has a broken break hub assembly and the tire is splitting from the rim...The service guy was extremely rude when discussing this...Told me the car was not put on lot like that which it definitely was...I then asked for a loaner car as this was not safe to drive...He told me no to bring it home and park until its fixed...I explained I have a cleaning business and need to work as I will loose 600 dollars being out of work...Again very rude saying its not his problem...I was lyied to and treated very poorly by service..I would honestly never recommend someone purchasing a car thru Butler Ford..They do not check out the mechanical issues on any used vehicle on their lot, they clean them and sell them to people with issues..This car could have potentially put me in a very serious accident...I now.issing work and have to drive this back over an hour away...A very dissatisfied customer!!!!

Please dont use their service department, My mom is over 65 years old and had to catch a ride 30 miles home because they did an oil change and did not put oil in her 50k Lincoln MKX. It is sad because her truck is paid for with only 76k miles on it. She picked her suv up and drove it about 6 miles and motor locked up, so she caught a ride back to Butler Ford . When they checked it oil, it didnt have a dropped of oil in it. They wouldnt give her anything to drive home, and they told her to come back the next day for a rental. How is she suppose to get back when you destroyed her car? A real dealership would have given her a brand new car to drive. If you cant put oil in than I know you cant put a motor in .

Arrived with low expectations left feeling good. Walked in and was immediately approached and assigned a sales associate. Jason Hicks made sure that I was comfortable before we started. Worked within my budget and expectations. The vehicle was thoroughly cleaned with a clean car fax report. Was not aggressive like other dealership associates and allowed me to take my time deciding. The entire process was easy and very stress free. The entire team works well together there was no long waiting periods between each process step. I called about a car on their lot. Jonathan told me it had been traded to another dealer earlier in the week. I asked him to find that exact same car and call me back. When he called he also sent me an initial agreement for a car that was $400.00 more than the car they had on the lot. When I asked for a copy of the window sticker to compare options he reluctantly sent it to me with the other dealerships info backed out. This car had $3800.00 less options than the car they had yet it was priced $400.00 more. When I questioned this he sent me to his sales manager Josh. Josh would not answer me when I asked him where the price they quoted came from. Josh then began to tell me that they cant find what I was looking for because of a massive recall on this model, blah blah. I conducted another internet search and found what I was looking for. I called that dealership and in less than two hours I had electronically signed all the paperwork. The next morning I get a text from Jonathan asking would I consider a stick shift versus and auto because they couldnt find one within 900 miles. Beware of bait and switch!
I responded to a letter in the mail and received a call from the sales manager himself. Told him my situation and he worked diligently and very hard for me. He didn’t get me what I wanted but got me what I needed! I am forever grateful for what Mr. Al did for me. The process was very smooth and quick. I was in and out! Anyone needs a vehicle please go see Mr. Al himself!
Once the papers are signed the car is yours and you better believe they take that literal. Buying the car was easy. Dealing with getting the issues fixed that were wrong with the car, not so much! I sure wish I had read these reviews before I bought a car from them.
I took my car to get checked out and they kept my car for two weeks and changed out a part in the car then they gave me the car back telling me that the car was ready to go and everything was fixed and not even 24 hours later the car left me at an intersection for the same reason that I took it in the first place and my initial expenses were 600+ dollars and they changed a part that didn’t even fix my problem. I was very disappointed in the service that I was given due to the fact that they were unsuccessful with the repairs and they first quoted me $300 and they made a mistake in the order and then they change the price to 600. They also are very unprofessional with their appointment set up I had an appointment at 8:30 in the morning on a Saturday to get my car looked at but my car was never checked out until the following Monday so there was no point in me waking up early on a Saturday to take my car and not being able to know what’s wrong with it that same day that I had my appointment

In April, 2020, Butler Ford repaired my Expedition A/C at an agreed cost of $2500.00. The system was fully checked out, and I was pleased to have cold air again. One week later, the A/C stopped working and started making a noise. I returned to the service department. The technician was unable to recreate the issue, and I left frustrated but satisfied that it might have been a one time thing. This week, the A/C stopped working yet again. I returned the car to the service department and the subsequent phone call broke the news that it would be a $2600.00 fix. Low and behold, it was all new part failures and not related to the April repairs. We were informed that the air tested was only 12 degrees cooler than the outside temp. To say that my husband and I were irritated, is putting it mildly. While my husband was on the phone and asking why the back air was working fine if a compressor had failed (Odd, huh?) I was on the computer looking up the specific problem. I located a very long thread about the exact issue. Its as simple as a loose wire in the passenger foot well. We instructed the service department to not touch the car and we would be up to get it immediately. We drove home, my husband wiggled the aforementioned wire, and low & behold...it started working! My husband tested the air and its 30 degrees cooler than outside temp. It has worked beautifully ever since. Moral of this story...two fold...avoid this service department, and do your research before trusting someone.
I drove 3 hrs to the dealership on 11/7 to trade in my 2011 F150 and buy a 2013 F250 Lariat Diesel. I coordinated all of this via email, text and over the phone. The salesman indicated the paint was a 9/10. At best with dents, dings, scratches and a rust spot on the roof it was a 7/10 at best. When i test drove it there was a check engine light on. The sales mgr coordinated with the service dept and told me they would have it back to me by Tue 11/10. Then they told me wed 11/11 after i called to ask about the status on Monday 11/9. Then on Wed the salesman told me it would be Thursday or Friday. Then after getting the general manager involved he told me it would be Saturday. So after a week to replace an EGR valve and an EGR cooler i finally got my truck that i paid for a week prior.Easily the worst dealership experience i have ever had, and by far the worst ford dealership i have experienced after 20+ years of brand loyalty in my family.

Back around June, my boyfriend and I purchased a used f-250 diesel with low mileage truck from this dealership. Not even a week later we began having issues with the truck. We asked the dealer void the sale so that we were able to purchase a functional truck (after needing to take the truck back multiple times) and management declined. Since then the truck has been a nuisance and is breaking down very frequently. Our mistake was choosing Ford in Milledgeville. Never again! I advise anyone to go to another Ford.
I purchased a used 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2018 at Riverside Ford in Macon. Therefore, the Ford Promise Warranty covered my vehicle. On March 16, 2020, my car would not function and it was obvious the transmission was blown. So, I called my warranty company. Instead of having it towed to Macon I decided to stay local and contacted the service department at Butler Ford to ask them if they would be willing and if they had the time to work on my vehicle. I was told they were a little behind but would be about two weeks. So, I had it towed to Butler Ford on March 18th. Long story short....Ford placed a warranty claim and installed not one, but TWO transmissions and was convinced they needed a THIRD. I was without a car for TEN WEEKS. I was in constant contact with my warranty company and I finally asked to have my vehicle towed to a Jeep dealership. The Jeep dealership evaluated the vehicle and both transmissions that were installed. Ford put in the wrong fluid and it completely ruined both transmissions, but they blamed it on being “sent bad transmissions”. After having my vehicle evaluated and serviced at Jeep...I received my Jeep back in 10 days as good as new. It has been an absolute nightmare working with Butler Ford. I even attempted to visit on a Saturday and considered buying a vehicle so I could trade my Jeep and be done with it. While in the parking lot TWO employees approached me asking if I was interested in buying while smoking a cigarette and I was holding a newborn baby in my arms! All of this is to say that clearly there is a lack of knowledge, customer service, and training! I would not recommend them for service or purchasing.

I had a recall on my car and they did a wonderful job and had it done before the time the estimated. Ive lived in the middle Georgia area all my life and I knew of Riverside Ford because they have been around for years so I went there trying to get help with my recall and the lady that handles the recalls is so rude and unprofessional. I contacted Butler Ford after that experience and they are the nicest people and professional all the way. Even though this was only for a recall I will definitely go back for anything I need with any of my Ford concerns or purchases.
Bit pricey, youll know why when you see the waiting area. Great service this visit, Ive had worse here in years past.They took care of two recall items and I purchased an alignment. The service technician was very helpful and answered all my questions as best he could.

Took my Mustang up here when I heard a ticking sound from the engine. Service told me theyll look at it and get back with me, this was all under warranty. Weeks pass and I go back up here to check on my car. They tell me they didnt hear any noise and the white smoke that I saw everytime I started the car up cold only happened with them once, out one side of the exhaust, but I had an x-pipe, so thats not possible. I got my car back and as soon as I started it, I could hear the ticking still there. Not even a month later, the engine dropped a value in the same cylinder the ticking was coming from. Why lie, instead of fixing the problem?

Hello Everyone Yesterday on 7/27/2020 Butler Ford swindled me out of $120. They were supposed to be doing a diagnostic test on vechicle. Around 3:30pm yesterday Roderick Taylor called me and told me transmission fluid was leaking. First off before I took vechicle to them transmission fluid wasnt leaking. Also they tells me they have to take CV Joint Axis off to find out while while transmission fluid leaking. What CV joint axis have to do with transmission fluid. Butler Ford wanted to swindle me out another $200. This is unacceptable in middle of pandemic they telling people anything trying do people in on their money. I still havent received any diagnostics and they refused me my vechicle without the $120. All they was doing was a diagnostics test but I still was required to pay $120 without any diagnostics.Please do Not again Please do Not take your vehicle to service department at Butler Ford in Milledgeville.
Did not have a good experience! I called to make appointment on July 10. Appointment was scheduled for the 20th. Called back on July 13th just to double check they knew what part was needed and that it would be available. Got to dealership for my service appointment on the 20th and.....NO PART!!! THREE TIMES I spoke with them about what needed to be done and they STILL didn’t get it right!!

Service staff is friendly, but the level of competence from the technicians is pathetic. I have brought my vehicle in 4 separate times for the same problem and it is still not fixed. Each time they ask me to leave it for the day and it ends up being 4 to 10 days!!! Ill never go back.

I purchased a used vehicle from Jorge Sanchez a few days ago. He is very polite, professional, not pushy, very knowledgeable and it was an all around easy and pleasant experience. He and Tracy in finance were the two that made me feel like they valued my business and wanted me to return. It was nice to have that as I havent had such knowledge and professionalism from other locations I have visited in the past.
Great people. Friendly service. I wanted to buy a truck and usually you have salesmen all over you, that was not the case here. They let me look around to find the truck i wanted and i got a super great price. Will definately do business with them again in the future. Highly recommend them.

Sales team was professional and courteous traveled over an hour and a half and they were willing to stay late to help me get into the truck I wanted. Josh, Walker, and Bennet were a pleasure to deal with and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and everything was satisfactory before I left the lot that night. Bait and switch. We got a babysitter and dedicated a Saturday to go see a vehicle we’d been assured was there. Upon arrival, we were informed that the vehicle in question had been special ordered for the owner and it was at their house in Macon. A sales manager had instructions to “sell it if you get a good price”. But, it was not available for viewing, driving, etc. So, in a classic bait and switch, they offered to show us a lesser model. In the end, we drove another hour and a half and bought a vehicle from a reputable dealership (Athens Ford).
I have never had a car buying experience as great as the experience I had at Butler Ford. I went to Butler having no intention of purchasing a car, just window shopping, but with such a great staff, anyone should be excited to buy a car from here. My salesman, Edgar, was the sweetest and most customer-oriented person I have ever met. Kevin and the rest of the staff were willing to go out of their way and go the extra mile to make sure I had a quality experience. I had a car picked out, and they had it brought all the way from Columbus just so I could see it, and I ended up buying it.Bottom line... I will definitely return to Butler Ford next time Im looking for a car. Great staff, great vehicles, and great experiences.

Horrible service! Untruthful service manager. My truck has been sitting for a week and hasn’t been worked on.call several times to get an update and get the run around. It’s ashamed we can have a certified local service shop. That is dependable. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Mark Freeman and the service team at Butler Ford quickly diagnosed the repairs needed for my Lincoln MKX and completed these repairs very fast and got me back in my vehicle even though it was during the Christmas Holidays. I have used other repair shops in the past but Butler Ford Service in Milledgeville, Ga is the best auto repairs service I have used by far.
Nathan was extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. I did not feel pressured at all. The finance staff and sales manager were also very helpful.
