Repeat customer...and they keep giving me good reasons to be.My attempt at getting an appointment got a prompt response, but through no fault of BYOC it ended up getting caught in my Junk folder. So I went to BYOC to make an appointment. To my pleasant surprise, Eric said they could do it right then and there. This saved me a trip, but there is more. This was only an oil and filter change, but I can always count on them to inspect the vehicle and tell me what they find. In this case, it was to let me know tread wear on my front tires was nearing time for replacement. Eric gave me free advice on where I could get this make and model tire at the best price and have it done right. Each time I go there they do something to increase my faith and trust in them.They arent the cheapest place, but they are fair and very very good at what they do.

Brought my car here for a general maintenance & wheel alignment, also swapped all 4 of my worn out tires for brand new ones. Eric ordered my 4 new tires which was available the very next day! Best local owned auto care/repair shop in Milpitas, hands down!

Best auto shop I’ve been to! The owner and people working here at BYOC are very honest, which is the main concern I have when I go to an auto shop. They will tell me when something does need to be fixed and when it does not, and even showed me the steering fluid that they flushed out. Customer service is also amazing! They checked up on me proactively after a few months since I turned down the steering fluid flush service the first time I went, and they are not pushy about any services. Communication is also great. Really recommend this auto shop!

Came in for a leaking coolant. Didn’t have an appointment but they took my vehicle in anyways. Was diagnosed with a faulty water pump. They gave me an option of oem or aftermarket. Since my truck is old and I don’t use it as my primary vehicle, they recommended the aftermarket. Thank you. They seem like a very honest mechanic.

This was the first time having my BMW serviced at this shop. The service was great. Very knowledgeable and listen to my explanation of what I was told was wrong by the dealer. Ive been going to this shop since the time it was known as milpitas garage, the quality then was great, and it still is now. Ive had a lot of work done here and Ive never had any issues with the jobs. A rare quality this shop has is that they never try and sell you on useless repairs that you dont need, like some other unscrupulous mechanics do to make a quick buck, on unsuspecting customers.

Best place for BMW repairs. Much more affordable than all the places I’ve gone to in the past. They save you time and go above and beyond.

My Mini Cooper had a severely worn out transfer case after finding out about the issue from the dealership. On recommendation from a friend, I took the Mini to have its transfer case replaced. Eric and his team were incredibly helpful and very responsive by keeping me up to date with the status of the replacement and service as well as answering any additional questions.During the replacement, I remembered that the dealership had indicated that there was another issue and I asked Eric to see if I could quickly add on this extra service since it was already at the shop. Eric handled the last minute additional request amazingly. He let me know that they could do the work with no issue. His team conducted tests and inspected the part and notified me that there were no issues at all.When I picked up the car, it ran like new. I am extremely happy with their service and would highly recommend going to BYOC. I will definitely being going back to either service or conduct other work on my Mini!.

My first experience with Eric and the BYOC team was with my beat up 1999 BMW 528i about a year ago. At that time I needed help popping my hood due to a snapped hood latch. Eric could’ve gouged me as I was desperately trying to get the hood popped so I could get the car smogged and sell it. Instead he and one of his techs diligently did everything they could to get the hood popped, and topped off the oil due to a leak I had. He charges me less than $20 for his assistance and the oil.Fast forward to the present day and I’m now driving a clean 2013 BMW 535i. This thing is my baby, and once again I’m choosing BYOC to take care of it. Eric set me up with an appointment to perform some overdue interval maintenance that the previous owner had neglected to perform. He performed the service the same day I dropped off the vehicle, and when an unexpected part needed to be replaced Eric called to update me of the repair status and the unexpected replacement. I’ve never received a repair update before. Typically I only receive a call when the work is done or I’m having to check in with the garage on the status.The pricing is fair. As a BMW owner you get used to the inflated costs of maintaining these vehicles, but BYOC doesn’t take advantage of that. And as an added bonus BYOC runs promotions for first time customers. Eric graciously counted this service as my first so that I could qualify for the free tire rotation and fluid top off. I’ll be continuing to bring my car here and will know I’m in good hands.

Eric, Carlos, and Juan know their stuff. They took care of my BMW 328i Manual 6-Speed Coupe 2007 really well. I was having clutch issues and they took great care of that and other issues(old hoses, starter issues, vanos, etc) so that I wouldnt have to come back for a long time.I really appreciate that mentality because its about whats best for me so I dont suffer later by being stranded in the middle of nowhere. Its great to know someone that takes your time seriously and possible issues that come up so you dont pay more later. My e92 runs great now.

Called BYOC in the morning and told Eric I needed a new battery for my car. Eric checked his inventory and told me he had to order it in, and that I can come in the afternoon for the installation. I went in the afternoon and Eric and Juan completed the job in 15-20min.

With Eric running the business, the exceptional operation and service for the shop has remained consistent to how it was operated under Carlos. I went to their location near opening time to get an oil change and then took a quick walk around the corner to get sandwich. By the time I came back service was done. Once the oil change was done, I scheduled for my brake pads to get replaced on the upcoming Thursday and Eric gave me an estimate on how much the service would be. When I came back to the store on Thursday there were no changes from the estimate, service was under an hour, and they also noticed 2 of my rear lights were burnt out so they ended up changing those as well. Overall, service was fantastic and I will gladly continue to get service at BYOC Auto Repair

I brought in my car to Eric/BYOC after it was damaged in a collision. There was suspension damage and the steering/handling was really off.They replaced both front struts, the driver side front lower control arm, the driver side front axle, and did a 4 wheel alignment and an oil change - all in a little over 1 day (picked up the very next day).I was impressed with their courteousness and professionalism. I was shown the damaged parts when I went in for the pick up.I will be going to BYOC from now on for major auto service.

The staff was very very helpful because they went through my car as soon as I got there ! Diagnostics run, errors cleared, the battery was bad ! With the battery replaced the real problem was with the trunk not closing completely . Thats what i went to get fixed. It was diagnosed to need new parts. With the new parts replaced next day My Lincoln MKZ was fixed for way less than i was quoted for the diagnostics + having to rent a car for 4 days ! ! ! ! !Now you know where to take your carWhat a relief
