Wont sell me pigtails wires interior nothing that aint quick and big bucks offered to pay anything he wanted needs a good punch

After purchasing a window for my envoy from another salvage yard (they sold me the wrong size and wouldnt exchange it). I then stopped in at American Auto Salvage and he new exactly what I needed without even looking it up. Not only did the window fit, but they offered to buy the window I purchased from the other company. So 5 stars for American Auto Salvage. Thank you and I will be doing all my business with you guys.

I apologize, I do not know where this rating came from. Ive never had any issues with this establishment. I actually salished a car there. It was a smooth transaction with no issues. The customer service was A1.

The guy was awesome, hooked me up with a refurbished battery for my car. It was just like brand new and cheap.

Mark answered the phone and when I started to say what I needed and then out of nowhere he just said “no”. nothing else. I then asked your not going to look it up and he just said, “no, not on yard.”Very unprofessional.

Dont know how to treat their customers. Can be rude, they lie to play games with their customers by making you THINK you got a deal.

I drove all the way there after my uncle called and confirmed the parts. Just to be there for 20 mins and for them to tell me they dont have the parts. But they know who does and long and behold its literally all the way on the other side of town.

I had a 98 Chevy Malibu that got into an accident and long story short it was not repairing since that would have cost a lot of money (and my insurance would not pay for repairs given the age and mileage). So, I brought it to this place and the guy gave me $400 in cash! He didnt give me a run around or anything. This payment was double what other salvage yards were offering (I called 4 in total). The guy was nice. Hes an older Russian or eastern European man and I think he mentioned hes been there for 30 years. This place is not much to look at from the outside and is in a poorer neighborhood, but dont let those factors hold you back from checking this place out. I was happy to give this guy business.

They usually have what they need but theyre not good on returns for parts that never even fit after 30 days they dont want to give you your money back or a credit even if the parts werent even installed never fit

Very nice guys that work there! I was having some bad electrical problems with my 2003 Ford Taurus the guy fixed it for me for $150!! Just think how much I would of paid if I went to the ford dealership!! Thoes guys are my main mechanics now!
