I got a super Nintendo system and games from here and my kids and I love it. They definitely like seeing all the toys and games I played with as a kid. The owner is very nice as well. I like this shop.

Awesome store, found a rare action figure I needed and got a good deal on a resurfacing machine. In town from Florida, this place was a breath of fresh air as most of the other “game stores” in town were just 1000s of DVDs and a few games. Customer service was good as well, I was helped by Chris and he was a big help the entire time as well as nice to chat with. I’ll definitely check them out again if I’m ever in town.

No one greeted me, no one even said a word to me the whole time I was there. At the same time, I didnt say anything to them either. I guess equal fault from both parties?The collectible figurines are amazing and everywhere. Those alone are worth checking the place out.

I’m honestly not sure how this store has so many stars. My fiancé and I decided to stop here because we were in town, and the store looked cool online. As soon as I walked in I had to leave. I cannot stand the smell of weed and the whole store reeked of it. When my fiancé got back in the car I asked if anyone was in there and he said there was no one. So we concurred whoever works there probably smokes weed in the back. I saw a similar bad review where the owner commented that it was a “vintage smell”.... hilarious. Any type of bad review this place gets the guy tries to refute it somehow. If you like collectibles, don’t mind the smell of weed, and appreciate no workers in the store, than this is the store for you!

The guy working there sold me a bootleg copy of earthbound for snes and then would not accept a return, they basically stole my money

I had bought some pokemon packs from these guys which they were selling for retail price and they had already opened the packs and tried to reseal the packs with glue and the way I was able to tell was that the code card was missing and that the order the cards are supposed to come in was incorrect as well and I had bought 5 packs here if they did this to one product who knows what they have done to other products within the store never coming here again

I was tagging along with my brother to find some games for the N64. Everything was set up really well for it being a smaller store. There were clear sections for different systems. I ended up getting an NES and some games to go with and they have a great punch card system where you get a punch for every $10 you spend. Buying the system and games, I got enough punches to get $20 in store credit. I’ll definitely be going back sometime soon.

Going to this place was like walking into a time machine. It reminds me of when I was younger. I was very happy with my visit. They have a lot of product to look through. If you are looking for any retro gaming, this IS the place. You would have to be there all day to fully take the experience in. The guys working there are cool. I plan on returning in the future.

They have a great variety of video games and other items, good prices, friendly owners. My favorite is Sega genesis, they have to have over 75 cartridges and its not all the sport games you normally see. You can even play the consoles like play station, game cube, etc. Its a great store, better than those chain ones.

If your looking for video games on the more retro side of things this is the place for you, of course it is a variety store and has tons of old school toys and collectibles, and even movies and stuff, but the main focus is the video games. This all really caters to me as a customer, but the main reason this might be my favorite store more than anything is just the atmosphere, it plain up straight up is just a cool store to be in!

Bravo, Makes Cents! This is a walk through gaming history. Layout is great and easy to find what you are looking for. Youll still be stuck here checking out the stock, though. One of the best retro gaming stores I have ever been too.

Great selection of used and collectible games for Sega Genesis, SNES, and NES, among other retro systems as well. Prices are fair and competitive. Staff is helpful and friendly. Been there twice and Im looking forward to what Ill find next time.

Great store with friendly easy to talk to workers. Has all the typical thrift store classic game items and honestly more. Place is alot better than a thrift store or media exchange for old games and consoles. They generally have newer stuff too but Id only really go in there for games at least a console generation old.

This is one of my favorite places in the world. If you like old video games and miscellaneous nerdy, retro stuff, Makes Cents is the place for you. Its always full of nice people, and the owners are consistently awesome.

Holy cow. Walked in and its legit the coolest store Ive ever been too, with all of the memorabilia and video games. I walked around it for about an hour in just Awe. It felt like the first time I went to gamestop as a child

Good place to go to for video games. Youll find games for systems that go way back to the Atari 2600 and even older, up to Wii and ps4. You can even get used gaming consoles here.Its the place to go for action figures as well. Especially if youre a wrestling fan. Its not a very big place, but you may find yourself just walking around and reminiscing about the awesomeness of your childhood.The owner seems to be a pretty nice and fair guy. The other employees are alright I guess, with the exception of the young african-american woman who works there. Shes not the friendliest and seems like she would rather be someplace else.

This place is a great game shop with a lot of different variety for all types of gamers. The games are reasonably priced for a small business as well. Didnt give five stars because the woman working the counter kind of had an attitide about having to get me games from different areas (NES, GCN, Wii, etc...), but hey I got my games for a good price. Im a happy camper! Will be back for sure.

This place is great! I found it while looking for a GameCube online and decided to check it out with my video game collecting husband. Once he stepped into the store, he didnt want to leave! I dabble a lil in geekery as well, so naturally I found this place to be nostalgically awesome. Plus the money saving prices dont hurt at all. Definitely will be returning to purchase some collectors items in the near future.
