I found Jeff randomly from a google search and have been taking lessons for a few months under a year now. I am a classically trained musician with years of performance experience and came to Jeff looking to get in to the drums. I was and to this day am completely blown away by his versatility, knowledge, and passion when it comes to percussion playing. The approach he takes to teaching and playing is incredibly thought out and comes from a lifetime of mastering this craft. Every bit of information I get from him is more valuable than the last and as a teacher he is one of the most patient and encouraging Ive ever experienced. Hes also a funny and friendly guy as well.As a teacher and as a person, any way you can experience Jeff Taylor will be a blessing.

He is the only person I would recommend anyone to for the topics of drums, music theory, music history, harmony, audio engineering - you name it! He will go the extra mile to share his passion for teaching music to his students. You can’t go wrong here. Fresh coast drum school has met and exceeded all my expectations as a music school. In just a year Ive learned and progressed to a place I thought Id take years to get to and I have. Teacher Jeff Tayler is very knowledgeable about his craft and always has new bits to through on top of his new bits of information in that weeks lesson. 5 stars well deserved!!!

I have been climbing in an out of local recording studios for almost forty years and thought I knew something about music production. Approximately eight months ago I met Jeff Taylor and approached him with a music recording restoration and building a music social media website project. (Outstanding Relationship)It has been an amazing experience spending time with someone who has total grasp of recording production, video technology, master musician on multiple instruments and one extraordinarily brilliant teacher.They say when you do something effortless you are gifted or talented. For the past several months I have observed and listened to Jeff writing drum arrangements for books. As a time keeper he knows no musical genre boundaries with his ergonomic linear approach to playing.If you are an inspiring drummer or an established one expanding or wood shedding your chops I highly recommend Jeff as a teacher.

Great Teacher, Very knowledgeable musician and willing to share.Ive learned multiple practice techniques to speed up progress, correct bad habits and get me out of my comfort zone as a player. Does a fantastic job of analyzing deficiencies in playing to focus on what needs the most work.

Upon attending lesson with Jeff I had 15 plus years of percussion experience. With that much time playing bad habits were developed and technique was sacrificed. Those problems were quickly addressed and the importance of 4 limb independence and technique became my primary focus and most importantly drumming became FUN again. Needless to say I havent turned back!!If you want to have the most fun and want to soak up as much knowledge possible about your instrument, all while using top of the line equipment then look no further!!!
