This place has all the hard to find things you need. One of the best plumbing shops Ive been too, and their specialty tool and hardware selection is great. Knowledgeable service people who are very helpful. I found a round grease trap vent hood Id been searching for well over a year here. Fantastic.

I have been coming to this place for years for all the oddball hardware needs that you have with 100 plus year old East side houses. Last week I needed a new water heater installed at one of my rental properties and got the best customer service/install/price you can ask for from Jim the water heater guy. I also really like it for getting locks rekeyed & the overall vibe & conversations I hear throughout the store while Im waiting. This place is truly a Milwaukee gem & the last of its kind.

Why go to Crown? They have true experts available every day to help you with any plumbing issue (or anything else building related). Bring your issue to them and they will walk you through how to fix it and get you the parts you need. No guessing, just solutions. You dont get that expertise at the big box stores. And if you think it costs a lot more, youd also be wrong. I found major plumbing parts for a good savings at Crown. They also have a locksmith (Tom) on staff. Tom can also tell and show you how to do just about anything. Dont get frustrated at the big box stores, go to this Milwaukee gem and you will be a customer for life.

Crown has been my go-to hardware store ever since I purchased my first property. Especially when it comes to plumbing, but other specialties too, they a are real pros. Bring in a 100-year old broken faucet valve, theyll figure it out. Bring in a question, theyll solve it. Theyre known for being able to offer pro advice and find the parts and that nobody else can find.

Purchased and had Crown install our new water heater. Worked with Jim who was very knowledgeable and professional. They were willing to install the next day, on a Saturday, in order to get us up and running with hot water. Jim helped us with the warranty and he did a quick and quality install. Highly recommended.

They are consistently good that is why contractors shop there. You pay for knowledgeable staff and not have to walk around big store just to find out all the small pieces have been stolen, and you just wasted 2 hours looking for parts.

THE place to go when you need plumbing solutions. Old school shop and knowledgeable staff. I needed an odd size of pipe nipple and they immediately had it, but offered to make the piece there and then if they were out. A crowd of handyman fellas and pro plumbers coming and going, I can tell why theyve been there as long as they have.

Im just a weekend DIYer and am usually intimidated by hardware stores, but this place is great. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and patient. I will definitely be back, and Ill be recommending this place to everyone I know.

These guys know their stuff! I had searched at Lowe’s, Home Depot, Ace, and True Value hardware stores for a replacement shower control handle (1980s). No luck. I walk in to Crown, hand the old broken control handle to one of the experts there who returns in 5 minutes with the exact right part! I won’t waste my time anywhere else again!

I went there to get keys made. A bit crowded in there but the employees in there were informative and one of the lady employees was very nice and funny. Very cool local place to go to for your hardware needs.

An awesome, 1st time visit I encountered with this store!I took in an old water meter part and the pleasant gentleman took a look at my unit and asked if there was anything more i needed...he quickly found the unit and i found other components to buy for my home....I encourage a visit here...it appears to have a very good inventory set up...I SHALL RETURN.....my home projects will keep me coming back!

The older white guy was rather short with me. Although the older black guy came over to smooth things out. On that note i will give a 3 star.

They have an older guy is an a-hole.Great selection, but I will never come back there. Better be ready to be hassled if you need something.

Love Crown Hardware. They do have your basic hardware. It is small but if you need plumbing parts or advice this is one of two places in Milwaukee to go! Its where the plumber goes.If they dont have it no one does. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.

I broke a part while fixing a 1950 or earlier Kohler faucet. Was sent here, they knew the part by sight, had the part and related packing etc. Saving me from an endless search.

I had a lot on my mind when I went to this store so my mind was everywhere when I made my purchase I wasnt focused he gave me my change and I left the store in the parking lot I realized this man just ripped me off he didnt give me all my change I was 6 bucks short my husband wanted to go back but I didnt want to cause a scene who will admit they ripped you off so I left it alone

Called them looking for a part and the girl that answered was beyond unprofessional and flat out hood. She answered and put me on hold twice but with the worst attitude ever. Then the guy that answered also was rude, short and in need of customer service training. I will never ever call or shop here.
